We are excited to introduce #Borcycle™ GD3600SY, a glass-fiber reinforced polypropylene compound with 65% post-consumer recycled (PCR) content. This innovative material’s first use is in center console carriers in the new #Peugeot 3008, developed in collaboration with Plastivaloire and Stellantis – a perfect example of #EverMinds in action. The center console carrier has earned us and our partners a finalist position in the “Automotive, Electrical & Electronic Product” category at the Plastic Recycling Awards Europe 2024 – one of the many ways we are #MovingAheadTogether with the Mobility industry. That’s why we’ve honored three impressive student theses, from TGM – Die Schule der Technik, with the Borealis Innovation Awards for the 19th year in a row, to reward innovative ideas supporting a more sustainable future. This year’s theses addressed improving the ecological performance of wiring in electric cars, increasing efficiency and reducing waste in rheometer tests, and optimizing the process for sedimentation in waste treatment plants.
