Up to €64,000 in Funding for SME’s AI Innovations 💶 Artificial intelligence (AI) is a key driver of #digitaltransformation, shaping the future of business. However, while 35% of large companies in Austria leverage AI, only 9% of small businesses do. To bridge this gap and foster innovation, the Stadt Wien is offering substantial support for SMEs through this new waff funding. City Councillor for Economic Affairs, Peter Hanke, emphasizes the importance of AI for Vienna’s economic growth: "AI is vital for our city’s development. We aim to support Viennese SMEs in creating AI-based innovations that benefit both employees and the economy." Funding Details: ➡ Up to €59,000 for AI innovation projects ➡Additional €5,000 for gender equality measures within the company ➡Applications open until August 27, 2024 Artificial intelligence is of great importance for #Vienna as a business location, also in view of the size of the ICT sector. 8,800 companies with around 67,000 employees generate a gross value added of around eight billion euros, which accounts for over ten percent of the turnover of the Viennese economy.
