James Michael «Jimmy» Bennett (9 de febreru de 1996, Seal Beach (es) ) ye un actor y músicu estauxunidense. Ye conocíu polos sos papeles como actor infantil en Daddy Day Care, Hostage, Poseidón, Y más apocayá en La güérfana y como neñu en James T. Kirk en Star Trek. Tamién actuó en No Ordinary Family como JJ Powell, un adolescente dotáu de gran intelixencia dempués d'un accidente d'avión.
Carrera
[editar | editar la fonte]Bennett nació en Seal Beach, California, anguaño mora n'Huntington Beach, onde la so familia ye dueña d'una pastelería.[2] Nel so tiempu llibre, toca la guitarra y canta. Escribió ya interpretó'l cantar Summer Never Ends, que puede escuchase a la fin de la película Shorts.[3]
Los sos entamos fueron na televisión, onde apaeció en dellos episodios de les series, The Guardian y Strong Medicine, más tarde aceptaría'l papel de Tony na película d'Eddie Murphy, Daddy Day Care. Enantes tuvo actuaciones menores nes películes Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy y Arthur Hailey's Detective. Tamién apaeció en Judging Amy y CSI y Everwood. En cuanto al doblaje, emprestó la so voz en The Polar Express Winnie the Pooh: Springtime with Roo y en I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown. Foi nomáu en cinco causes pal Young Artist Awards.[4]
En 2005 apaeció xunto a Bruce Willis en Hostage y en The Amityville Horror onde interpretó al fíu medianu d'una familia que se camudaba a una casa encantada. Dambes películes estrenar en marzu y abril respeutivamente. Nel rodaxe de Hostage diéron-y el nomatu de "Jimmy Dos-Tomas" pola so habilidá n'interpretar los sos diálogos a la perfeición.[5]
En febreru de 2006, apaeció en Firewall onde interpretó al fíu del personaxe de Harrison Ford. Tamién fixo actu de presencia en The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things, película independiente publicada un mes dempués de Firewall. El mesmu añu, daría la so voz al personaxe Roo nel videoxuegu Kingdom Hearts II, tamién protagonizó Poseidón. Ente los sos papeles, en 2007, atópense South of Pico y Evan Almighty. En 2009 apaeció como un nuevu Capitán Kirk en Star Trek XI y en La güérfana.
Los sos próximos proyeutos van ser pa la serie d'ABC, No Ordinary Family y la película Bones onde va compartir cartelu con Ozzy Osbourne y Zakk Wylde. El so estrenu prever pa 2010.[6][7]
