Kid Cobra is a playable fighter in ARMS. He is a professional snakeboarder and live streamer.
Appearance
Kid Cobra's extendable ARMS have a scaly, snake-like appearance. His spiraled eyes are heterochromatic, the right eye being green, and the left one purple. He wears a helmet shaped like the head and hood of a cobra, his skin-tight shirt looks scaly, and his baggy pants bear a design made up of many stylized snakes. The treads of his sneakers also look like snakeskin. He is not seen wearing other clothing very much, however, in official artwork he is seen wearing traditional Japanese clothing along with Min Min and Ninjara. His specifically are a white turtleneck, throwing on a small black jacket on top. He is also seen wearing fingerless, black gloves. His purple pants and shoes remain the same. In the final work of art, he is seen wearing a purple and black tuxedo. He wears a long-sleeved, buttoned purple shirt with a black, duke-like tuxedo jacket on top that is sleeveless and buttoned. He wears black pants and black boots. A black belt and bow-tie are also thrown on to match the outfit.
Backstory
"A top snakeboarder turned ARMS fighter, this kid lives for the streets! All that boarding has really strengthened his legs, giving him a super-quick dash after charging up. He entered the Grand Prix to get more hits on his snakeboarding vids, but his natural instincts might just carry him all the way to the top!" —Official description
Kid Cobra is a professional snakeboarder, live streamer, and the leader of his gang the Naja Crew. He rose to prominence after uploading videos of him snakeboarding with some of his fans (possibly from the Naja Crew or not) online, additionally resulting as the key for him to entering the Grand Prix. Kid Cobra is one of the few people who had his extendable ARMS since birth, occurring in only 1 in 100,000 people. Due to the fact that he always wears a mask and his race hasn't been confirmed yet, it makes Kid Cobra an interesting surveying target.[1]
Abilities
Kid Cobra has one of the slowest dashes when uncharged but his jump is the highest. When dashing towards an opponent on the ground while charged, he can perform consecutive dashes while ducking under all incoming attacks. In addition, all dashes, midair or grounded, are quicker and provide more distance. The longer he's been charged, the more consecutive dashes can be performed, up to five. When attacking during a charged dash, all ARMS that change attack pattern will attack as if they were in midair (i.e. Scorpio and Funchuk)
Playstyle
Kid Cobra's main advantage is his mobility especially when charged, and with his quick short hop means he can get charged much more easily than most! His massive jump distance, charged dash speed and continuous movement with his dashes, while being able to slide under punches means he can get to close range and pressure, or escape and retreat with a frightening level of quickness.
He excels at pressuring opponents with his speed, and his massive ARM girth, if he stays unpredictable.

- Kid Cobra was first revealed to be playable during the ARMS Direct on May 17th, 2017.
- His cyan color scheme is similar to the Coolerang's.
- He is the only non-artificial playable character known to have been born with the ARMS ability.
- His affiliated group, the Naja Crew is named after the Naja genus of cobra, also referred to as the "true cobras".
- Kid Cobra appears to have some level of fear for the mongoose, rather fitting his snake related nature.
- Kid Cobra is the youngest male human character at 19 years old.
- Kid Cobra is the only one who is able to flip the snakeboard by air-dashing while charged at Snake Park. This is the only way to see the bottom view of the snakeboard at said stage.
