Work Text:
When Yoongi relented in adopting Jungkook, he didn't realize that having the little Satan in his house would be such a terror.
First off, the clever little shit figures out stupid reasons to wake him up from his beauty sleep.
"Yoongi. Yoongi. Yoongi. yOONGIIIIIIIIIII!" The tiny child screeched.
"Ohmygod," Yoongi slurred and sleepily glared at Jung-Satan. "What do you want?"
"It's time for school, Yoongz," he whispered, eyes wide and tiny hands patting at Yoongi's face.
"Okay first of all," Yoongi sighed, pulling Jungkook's hands off his face, "It's 5 in the morning. Second," he sat up, placing Jungkook onto the floor, "It's Saturday. Go back to sleep."
Jungkook sat on the floor and crossed his tiny arms.
"But Jiminnie is coming today..." He said slyly.
He watched with a smirk as his hyung quickly sat up and jumped out of bed.
"Come on Jungkook, get dressed."
"But hyung-"
"No come on, get dressed."

Secondly, he is the most spoiled, manipulative child he has ever met. (But maybe that was explained in the last reason)
"Yoongz, can we ice cream?" The small bunny-child asked, tugging on Yoongi's shirt.
"No, Jungkook," he answered plainly, examining a box of cereal.
"But-" He was starting to pout.
"No." Yoongi started to push the cart away.
"Jiminnie-hyung, Yoongi-hyung won't buy me ice cream!" Jungkook sounded close to tears.
Yoongi whipped around to find his phone in Jungkook's tiny hands.
The evil bunny smirked at him and made an affirmative noise to Jimin, who was on the other line.
"Yeah, Jiminnie-hyung, I just want ice cream! I've been a good boy, haven't I?"
Jungkook waited for a moment, as Jimin was talking to him. He then sighed theatrically, and his smirk widened.
"Okay hyung," he said, sounding like a kicked-puppy, "But I don't know if he'll listen."
He handed the phone to Yoongi, who snatched it back immediately.
"Look, Jimin-"
"Yoongi-hyung why won't you buy Jungkookie some ice cream?"
Yoongi winced at Jimin's tone. He could picture the face that he was making. The "You-better-do-what-I-say-or-else" face mixed with puppy dog eyes filled with fake tears accompanied with a pout.
"Because Jungkook already had fro-yo yesterday-"
"But hyung!" Jimin drew out the "-uuuuuung!" purposely. Stupid brat. "Kookie has been such a good boy lately! He calls us 'hyung' like he should, please, thank you, and excuse me. He has such nice manners, and his kindergarten teacher gushes about how polite he is in class!"
Yoongi glared down at Jung-Satan, but all he did was smile angelically, scanning the ice cream flavors.
"Okay but-"
"No buts except yours buying Jungkookie some ice cream, okay bye!" Jimin hung up quickly.
Yoongi shoved his phone in his pocket and looked up to see Jungkook placing a carton of rainbow sherbet into the cart.
"Okay let's go!" He said cheerfully, pulling the cart away.

Thirdly, the brat always found a way to include his huge crush on Jimin to do whatever he wants.
"Yoongi can we go to the park?" Jungkook asked, peeking over the counter to Yoongi.
Yoongi was currently trying to salvage the lunch he was attempting to make.
"Uh... No. I was planning on staying home and working on some tracks for work."
Jungkook pouted, and looked a bit defeated, before his eyes slowly lit up and a smirk spread across his face.
"But Yoongz, I wanted to go to the one near Jiminnie's house..."
Yoongi suddenly dropped the pan into the sink.
"It was burnt anyway," he mumbled. "Okay, go put your shoes on. Maybe Jimin will have edible food at his house."

But there were times when Jungkook was alright.

"Jimin!" Yoongi looked up in surprise to see his long-time crush standing above him. "What're you doing here?"
Jimin giggled, (fucking giggled), and replied with, "Jungkookie said that you forgot your lunch at home, but I saw that it didn't seem very filling, so I made you some lunch myself."
"Oh. Thanks Jiminnie." Yoongi hated how he felt his cheeks heat up and quickly grabbed the bag out of his hands.
"Is it okay if I sit here while you eat? Namjoon-hyung isn't here today, right? I don't want you to be lonely."
"Oh. S-Sure go ahead." He internally cursed himself for stuttering.
They talked about things that have happened recently, and how Jimin's dance class has been doing.
"Jungkook's going to sign up for our dance classes, right? He said that you agreed but I wouldn't put it past him to lie about it," Jimin laughed, and Yoongi had to discreetly hold a hand over his heart.
"Uh, yeah. He wanted to and I think it's a good idea. Will we get a discount since we already know you?"
Jimin laughed again, and Yoongi felt a burst of pride knowing that he caused it.
"I don't know, hyung. Hoseok-hyung might not want to limit business, but for you guys I'll risk it." The younger winked at him and held a finger to his mouth.
Yoongi smiled, a bit flustered.
Alright, maybe Jungkook is an okay kid.
