Work Text:

After a long hard day at work, Aaron was totally exhausted when he walked into his house, taking off his suit and draping it over his couch. He lives in a large apartment in upstate New Jersey as a prestigious lawyer, and meets people from all kinds of different backgrounds. Like earlier that day when he met two guys, both of them different shades of blonde and beautiful body structures. When he bumped into them on the way to work that morning he had been completely stunned by their lethal face cards, and quickly apologized after a few moments of heated eye contact. They had been on his mind all day, and as fate would have it, they were some of the bosses hiring. When Aaron walked into the large office, he was taken aback but quickly recovered, introducing himself with a firm handshake, and they introduced themselves as Ross Lynch and Andrew Garfield. They were best friends who met in the show business, one an actor, and the other a singer. They had been needing to file a few restraining orders and were looking to hire a full time lawyer.
(At the office- Aaron)
When I looked at the two familiar and definitely unforgettable faces, I was totally shocked, because for one, how the hell do you meet such amazing guys on a whim, and two, I looked like a total idiot for my first impression. Obviously, that probably wasn"t a real first impression, and they probably didn"t even notice me, but God it was fucking embarrassing to me. I realized I was staring and immediately cleared my throat. I was definitely blushing. "Hi, I"m Aaron Rogers, I"m here for my interview."
That wasn"t too bad of a recovery. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Rogers, I"m Ross Lynch, and this is my coworker, Andrew Garfield. Please, have a seat."
Damn. Who knew a guy could get attention with just an introduction. His dates must know they"re staying before the end of the lemon law. (How I met your mother reference 🫠) I nodded and sat down on one of the padded black office chairs and for the first time, looked at the rest of the office. It was probably the size of an apartment, and the room was pretty business-like, aside from a few band posters and a movie poster. They looked pretty familiar, but I"m not really a movie enthusiast, and I definitely don"t have a wide variety in song choices. After that brief moment of scanning the room I handed Ross, apparently the one who took charge the most, my written and printed resume, who looked it over and then passed it to Andrew before speaking. "You seem to have pretty good experience according to your resume."
God, that hypnotizing voice again. It really is heaven to listen to. "Thank you, I pride myself on my work."
"What about your recommendations?" The other man, Andrew, spoke. His voice was a little lighter than Ross" but it definitely has the same effect.
After a moment of formulating a vaguely professional answer I came back to my senses. " The recommendations should be on the back page, next to the company descriptions.’’ Andrew just nodded and flipped to the back page, reading for a few seconds before setting the resume on the table.
After a few more minutes of basic interview questions we both bid our goodbyes and I left the office. I felt like I did alright in the questions, so I guess it"s up to my resume to do the rest.
Well that"s how we get to being at home and daydreaming about two insanely hot men. It was about ten o"clock at night, and it"s pretty quiet outside. Usually I might find the silence unsettling, but I was definitely way too distracted, and nervous for that matter. The job listing was really high paying so even without the hot guy bosses that were made for office daydreaming I actually did need the job. Looking for more jobs is just as hard, but it doesn"t come with pay.

Notes:

This is chapter one of hopefully many, and possibly even a series with Hannah and the others, and feedback is encouraged. Hopefully the writing isn"t too hard to decode.
