Jayce has spent most of his life as a hunter, but not just any one: he's a vampire hunter. Creatures that, from his view, are no different from beasts. When the paths of life lead him to make a truce with one in pursuit of a greater good—though also for personal desires—he did not expect to encounter a being that would awaken so much of his interest.
