Chapter Text
“It's been a while hyung.” Wonwoo said as he smiled at Seungcheol. “It's really been a while, the last time we saw each other was at your high school graduation.” Seungcheol said.
Wonwoo nodded. “How are you?”
The omega smiled. “I'm fine, I'm here to pick up my children from my parents house.”
“Children?” The alpha tilted his head.
“Eomma, who's that?” Chan asked as he popped up his head between Seungcheol legs. “Channie, it's rude.” The omega said, the boy quickly pull back his head and went to Seungcheol's right leg, hiding behind it and peeked at Wonwoo.
“Eomma, who's this?”
“He's grandpa and grandma's neighbour.”
“Like Junjun and Haohao?”
Seungcheol nodded, Chan glanced at Wonwoo and stared at the man. Wonwoo stared back at the child as he had no idea what to do.
“I'm Chan.”
“Wonwoo.”
The silence stretched for a bit when something caught his eyes. “Eomma, he has an otter keychain!” Chan exclaimed, he pointed at the keychain that was dangling on the Wonwoo bag.
“Oh, yeah, you like otter Chan?” Wonwoo squatted on the ground, removed his bag from his shoulder and showed the keychain.
Chan nodded enthusiastically and start to ramble about how cute an otter is.
“Cheol.”
Seungcheol turned, Jeonghan looked at him with a questioning look. “Later.” The omega mouthed, then he realized Joshua and Hansol weren't there and they were not in the car.
“Where are Shua and Hansol?”
“They went to the toilet. Shua said we can wait at the playground over there.” Jeonghan pointed at the playground that was located beside the parking lot.
“We can play at the playground!!? Wonu hyung! Let's go!” Chan grabbed Wonwoo's hand and dragged the man to the playground despite being much taller than the boy. The alpha relented and followed Chan steps.
Seungcheol and Jeonghan walked behind them.
*********
Back to the present.
“He was my neighbour before I moved to the city.” Seungcheol stated. Jeonghan hummed. “The way he looks at you was too much.”
Seungcheol glanced at Jeonghan with a smirk. “Is he? He just looked at me normally.”
“He has the same look that me and Shua had when we found you again.”
Seungcheol paused, he stared at his alpha face. “Jeonghan, it won't happen again.” Jeonghan closed his eyes as he leaned his head against Seungcheol's shoulder. “I know. I won't let it.”
Seungcheol sighed as he released a bit of his pheromones to calm Jeonghan down.
“Eomma, play with me!” The peaceful moment was broken by Chan's energetic shout. Seungcheol smiled and waved at Chan. “Your son is calling me.”
“Why is that man more important than me?” Jeonghan whined, hand wrapped on Seungcheol's waist.
“Because he's a love that was born from the three of us.” Jeonghan's hand went loose, the alpha watched Seungcheol run towards Chan. Jeonghan stared at the three and noticed Wonwoo had walked closer to him.
“So you're the husband?” Wonwoo said frankly as soon as he stood in front of Jeonghan.
Jeonghan smiled. “Yes, I'm the husband. He has another one but he's busy with our oldest.” Jeonghan replied.
Wonwoo stared at him for a moment and nodded. “I don't know who you are but please make Seungcheol hyung happy.”
“So sudden? I thought you wanted to steal him?” Jeonghan chuckled. Wonwoo's face turned red as he shook his head. “No way, I won't steal a married man! Not when he looked this happy.” Wonwoo trailed off and glanced at Seungcheol.
Jeonghan looked in the same direction and huffed. “I'm fortunate to have him as our mate.”
“I know,”
Jeonghan glanced at Wonwoo as he felt that the words carry much heavier meaning behind it. “If I know he's suffering I won't hesitate to take him away.” Wonwoo uttered, eyes locked with Jeonghan.
“Just so you know I won't let it happen.” Jeonghan smiled, he could feel some anger seeping through his emotion. He needs to calm down, Jeonghan reminded himself. Wonwoo shrugged and turned back his eyes to Seungcheol that right now got embraced by another child.
“Looks like your husband has came back.” Wonwoo muttered. Jeonghan eyes caught Seungcheol and Joshua walking while Hansol and Chan running towards them.
“Hyung, I need to go now. See you later. Don't forget to call me if anything happens!” Wonwoo said quickly. Seungcheol, caught off guard, just nodded. “Oh, okay?”
“We will play another time, alright, Chan?” Wonwoo smiled at the boy. Chan nodded. “Okay, bye, wonu!”
Wonwoo walked away leaving the family behind. “He comes and goes like the wind.” Jeonghan commented. Seungcheol chuckled and Joshua just looked at them confusedly.
**************
“He's your neighbour, and he had a crush on you.” Joshua summarizes as he listens to both Jeonghand and Seungcheol stories.
Seungcheol pouted as he pinched Joshua's cheeks. “No! He doesn't have a crush on me!”
“Don't listen to him, you should see how that bastard looked at Seungcheol, he totally would snatch our mate away.” Jeonghan rattled, he told the side of his story full of exaggeration that made Seungcheol cupped Jeonghan mouth a few times.
“Okay, okay, I will just believe both of you.” Joshua concluded. “Now we need to sleep.” Joshua rearranged the position and placed Jeonghan at the middle.
“Wait, why am I in the middle? I thought cheol would be in the middle.” Jeonghan protested. Joshua cupped his alpha cheeks. “We need to let Seungcheol have his recovery time. We have claimed him for a few days and his back was sore and since we met with the unexpected person, I believe you would do something tonight so I will keep you in check.” Joshua explained.
“Then you should be in the middle.” Jeonghan reasoned. “Yes, but Seungcheol also wants to please you right?” Joshua asked and both of them turned to Seungcheol who had flushed cheeks and frowns. “I didn't say anything.”
The two chuckled as they kissed Seungcheol's cheeks.

Extra:
Wonwoo stared at his cellphone quietly, his mind wandering back to a few years ago when he received a random call from Seungcheol. The words of his hyung keep repeating like an echo in his ears.
“Why do these things happen to me?! What did I do wrong?!”
Wonwoo takes a deep breath.
“That's a few years ago, he's happy now. I should not get involved.” He muttered silently.
