Summary
Evan "Buck" Buckley's car breaks down in the middle of a blizzard, leaving him no choice but to shift into his wolf form in order to survive. As he wanders through the snow, nearly freezing to death, he crosses paths with Tommy Kinard, an Alpha still haunted by the tragic death of his mate at the hands of humans. An inexplicable bond forms between them, revealing Buck as an extraordinary Omega.
Despite Tommy's reserved nature, their wolves sense they are meant to be together. Buck and Tommy enjoy each other's company until one night when their bond nearly leads to Buck's demise. Realizing the danger, they decide to separate for Buck's safety. Devastated, Buck returns to the city where he teaches wolf pups, leaving Tommy alone in his cabin.
