Chapter Text
Buzz
You come back to your senses.
The first thing you notice, even when your eyes are still closed (you can't remember when you closed them), is how, for lack of a better word, damp the floor is. Was it always carpeted too? You don't remember.
The buzzing you had assumed to be part of a hallucination or otherwise false impression now is coming from above you, not from the wall.
The feeling you had slowly fades as you make the brave decision to open your eyes and—ow.
The shine from the fluorescent lights is way too bright. It almost makes you wish it was dark; scratch that, you wish it was dark.
You look around and realize two things:
1—There's what seems to be an infinite expanse of rooms just like this one. Same wallpaper; same carpet; same lights. All over and over and over and over and—
2—You're not in that basement anymore.
You're almost too confused to even feel any horror; after all, how sure can you be that this isn't just a dream, and you're currently passed out in the basement of an abandoned house?
You remember that you've seen a scene in a movie (only a few nights before ending up here, in fact!) that you can pinch yourself to check if you're in a dream; if it hurts, you're awake.
You pinch yourself.
...
ow.
So this is, indeed, real.
You are not even sure what to do next. Would it be wise to wander? Maybe there's an exit somewhere... or what if there's someone looking for you? You two would never meet if you kept moving... it's just too much—
Bzzt
Your phone's not dead.
Your phone's not dead?
It can even pick up (shitty, but somehow paranormal?) Wi-Fi. You have no clue how this works.
Attempting to pester anyone (only Jade) makes Pesterchum glitch out, but Dave can pester you just fine.
Dave can pester you just fine.

TG: hey
EB: test.
TG: what
EB: huh, i can't start pesters but i can reply to them.
TG: you sure can
TG: would you mind if you used that power to tell me where the fuck you are
EB: i'm in this weird, yellow wall paper covered room.
TG: i woke up on one of these too
EB: i wonder if i can find you here...
TG: well im not there anymore so good luck
EB: how did you leave?
TG: i dont know what to tell you man
TG: i just kept wandering
TG: at some point i think i just
TG: ended up somewhere??
TG: anyways i found rose here
TG: she described the same thing as i did just in fancier words
TG: as she does
TG: right now we are at this place
TG: its like a warehouse i guess
TG: we are at like a abandoned place so we went full circle
TG: hold on a moment

At least he's okay.
You figure wandering won't be so bad after all. It seems to be the way Dave escaped from here after all.
And so you wander.
There's nothing much to describe, it's funny isn't it? A place fundamentally terrifying, you can't tell where it ends or begins. Yet after a while you've described all you can. As you put it: weird yellow wall paper covered room. Only mistake was putting a space in between wall and paper.
...
...
...?
Something's wrong.
You've been here before.
You recognize here!
This is where you...
...you've been here.
You try to trace your steps back, maybe you'll find out why this place (which looks exactly like all the other places you've seen here so far) is peculiar.
...
...
..?
You can tell this is not the path you took before. Even with the similarities in mind.
Once again, you're just as lost as you were.
You return to mindless wandering.
...
...
..?
A wall.
It calls for you.
It brings back that feeling you had.
This time, you don't even hesitate.
You pass out again.
