Ness and Isagi are in an established relationship, but Ness gets amnesia and his memories revert to when he still hated Isagi.

“Hey, what’d I miss?” he asks, his voice light as he tosses the bag onto the counter. He glances between Ness’s tense expression and Isagi’s pale, stunned face. His grin falters slightly. “Uh… bad timing?”
Isagi shoots him a look, his voice flat. “He has amnesia.”
Kaiser blinks, then tilts his head, his tone playful despite the gravity of the situation. “Amnesia, huh? Wow. That’s a twist.” He pulls out a sandwich from the bag, unwrapping it casually. “Guess that explains the sour mood.”
