Somewhere at Goku’s home, Goku was looking at what appeared to be a floating star in front of him. That floating star happens to be Kirby’s Warpstar that he brought from his home dimension.
The Star Warrior wanted to show the flying star to the Saiyan on what transport he used. To his surprise, Goku was awed upon seeing the floating star as he looked at it.
“So this is the Warpstar that Meta Knight was telling me. That’s awesome, and use it to fly to the sky?” Goku asked.
Kirby nodded.
“Poyo!”
Goku chuckled.
“You know, I have the exact same ride you have, much like the Warpstar. It’s called the flying Nimbus.”
Kirby tilts his head at this.
“It’s a flying cloud given to me by Master Roshi when I was a kid. Want me to show it to you?” Goku asked.
Kirby immediately nods.
“Poyo!”
The Saiyan then turns and looks up to the sky before calling his flying Nimbus.
“Hey! Flying Nimbus!”
Within seconds, a small flying cloud came diving down from the sky. It descended right towards Goku before making a complete stop in front of him.
“Hey! There you are! Kirby, this here is the flying Nimbus I want to tell you about.” Goku said.
Kirby was in awe when he saw the flying Nimbus. He walked around the floating cloud to examine it more.
Then suddenly, Goku got an idea.
“Hey Kirby, wanna see which one is the fastest with a race. Whoever comes back to the house, wins.” he said grinning.
Kirby liked that idea and nodded at the Saiyan with determination in his eyes.
“Ehehe, now we’re talking. ” Goku said.
The two hop on their flying rides as they ready themselves to race. Let’s see who will have the fastest transport ride between two warriors.
“Ready… set…”
“GO!”
Both transports took off, causing a gust of wind to blow. Goku and Kirby race one another, both at the same length as they soar through the sky. The breeze blew past them as Kirby was catching up at first.
They first enter the desert wasteland area, where Goku and Kirby dodge stone towers left and right. There, Vegeta, where he always goes when he wants to be alone, senses the energy of both warriors at tremendous speed.
Before he could turn to spot them, their energy was gone within seconds. Leaving the Prince confused.
(What in the world? That was Kakarot and the pink one’s energy just now, but they’re gone. Is this some kinda new training they’re doing? One that they’re doing without me? Damn that clown!) Vegeta thought to himself.
Meanwhile in the sky, Kirby was finally in first place and was ahead of Goku. He turned to the Saiyan and waved at him.
Goku wasn’t gonna let Kirby win before they entered the other area. They were now at the ocean part of the area where they can from a far the Kame House. Finally, Goku caught up with Kirby and made it first.
Meanwhile from below at the sea, Kine was enjoying the water with Turtle when they noticed the warriors flying past at the speed of light. Soon, they were gone, leaving the sea animals puzzled.
“What was that just now?” said Turtles.
“No idea, but for a moment there I thought I saw Kirby with the Warpstar.” Kine said.
“And I was pretty sure I saw Goku with the flying Nimbus.” Turtle said.
“...”
“Wanna go back diving down for food again?” Turtle asked.
“Sure.” Kine responded.
Back to our heroes, both were up to the sky with Goku now in first place. Kirby was determined to let that happen. Almost across to them, was the lookout tower where Piccolo was meditating before he sensed Goku and Kirby's energy with such speed.
The Namekian opens one eye to see from very afar the two warriors on rides racing one another.
(What the hell are they doing? Are they racing each other?)
(...)
(Well… so long as they’re not causing any trouble, it’s not my problem.) Piccolo thought to himself before going back to meditating.
Goku and Kirby were now neck to neck as they now enter the area of the city. The people from below didn’t know what was happening from above.
However, the people of the city did feel a strong breeze like nothing before the moment the warriors passed them above. Knocking down food tables, items that people were carrying and so forth.
Once it was gone, the people were wondering where that wind came from. But soon, they shrug it off thinking nothing of it.
Finally, after racing through area to area, the two warriors were finally almost to Goku’s home. The finish line was just down below with them both tied. It’s neck to neck with Kirby in first place, then Goku, then Kirby again, then Goku again.
They were going at incredible speed, both of them with determination on their face. They were close to the ground, it was Goku at first, now Kirby, now both! And before they knew it.
*BOOM*
Just like that, a loud crash was heard near Goku’s house. Chi-Chi immediately burst through the door to see what that crash was.
“What’s going on! Who’s out there!” Chi-Chi said.
She turned and to her shock was the crash site near her and Goku’s home. Chi-Chi decided to investigate to see what it was that crash landed. When she did, her shocked face dropped dead when she noticed it was none other than her husband and Kirby there that caused it.
Goku was tiredly chuckling while Kirby had swirls in his eyes unconscious. Both the Warpstar and flying Nimbus were either stuck into the ground or still floating from the ground.
You can guess which of the two.
Chi-Chi sigh.
“Oh boy, what am I gonna do with you and your friend, Goku.” she said.
In the end, the race ended up with a tie, oh well.
