Gasping for breath, Octavia locked herself in the nearest bathroom, her mother's phone clutched tightly in her feathered hands. She frantically scrolled through the contacts, searching for someone who could help her in this dire situation. With tears streaming down her face, she finally found the number she was looking for and pressed call, hoping for a lifeline.
"C'mon, c'mon, pick up," she whispered urgently as the phone rang, her heart pounding in her chest. Octavia knew that time was running out and she needed help before it was too late.
"Yeah, Lucifer Morningstar speaking," a deep voice answered on the other end.
"Oh, thank you for picking up," Octavia said, relief flooding through her. "I need your help; my father is in trouble."
The voice on the other end spluttered in surprise before composing itself.
"Wait! Wait, wait, wait! Don't tell me this is Stolas' kid?" Lucifer asked slowly.
"Yes, sir. He's in danger, and I don't know what to do," Octavia replied, desperation evident in her voice.
"I'll be right there. Meet me at the elevators in 30 minutes," Lucifer said firmly, determination in his tone as he promised to help her father.
"Yes, sir," Octavia said, grateful for his quick response and assistance.
She hung up the phone, feeling a sense of hope that her father would be saved. Octavia tossed the phone aside and quickly gathered her things, preparing to meet Lucifer at the elevators. As she rushed out the door, a wave of relief washed over her knowing that help was on the way for her father. Once she got to the elevators, she saw the familiar figure of the King of Hell along with his daughter, who had a determined look on her face. Octavia felt a surge of gratitude towards Lucifer and his daughter for their willingness to help her in her time of need. She knew that with their assistance, there was a chance her father could be saved.
"Hello, sir, Princess Charlie. Thank you so much for helping me. I didn't know what—!" Octavia gasped, but Charlie cut her off by gently saying, "No need to thank us, Octavia. We're here to help. Let's go save your father."
With a sense of relief and determination, Octavia followed Lucifer and Charlie into the elevator, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead in order to save her father.
"Do you know what ring they're on?" Lucifer asked.
"The Wrath Ring," Octavia whispered, clutching her hands together nervously. "That's where they took him."
Lucifer nodded, his expression grim.
"Leave everything to us when we get there."
Octavia took a deep breath, feeling a mix of fear and hope as the elevator descended. She took the time to explain what she knew about what had happened, but she knew that with Lucifer and Charlie by her side, they had a chance at rescuing her father from the clutches of no-good demons who had taken him. The stakes were high, but she was ready to do whatever it took to bring him back safely. The second the elevators opened, Lucifer was leading the way with a determined stride, and both Charlie and Octavia followed closely behind him. Octavia felt someone take her hand and looked over to see Charlie giving her a reassuring squeeze. She returned the gesture with a grateful smile, feeling a little calmer as they approached a set of double doors.
"Blitz!" Octavia cried, recognizing the imp banging on the door as well as the three other members of his crew who were waiting anxiously outside.
"He's in there! He took the blame!" Blitz yelled hysterically, seemingly unaware that the King and Princess of Hell were there as well.
"STOLAS!" Blitz screeched, banging on the door with renewed urgency. Octavia and Charlie exchanged worried glances before rushing forward to help Blitz, knowing that they needed to find a way to get inside and confront the situation head-on.
"Oh, Blitz…" Millie said sadly as she, Moxie, and Loona gently dragged him away from the door before hugging him. Octavia looked at both Lucifer and Charlie, swallowing slightly when she saw how furious they both were. She could almost feel the rage pouring off of them in waves, and she knew that whatever had happened inside was serious.
"We need to figure out what's going on in there," Charlie said, her voice firm as she turned to Lucifer. "We can't just stand here and do nothing."
Lucifer nodded, his expression dark as he made a decision.
"Let's go in," he said, his tone leaving no room for argument.
"After you, sir," Octavia said, and Lucifer grinned like a predator about to pounce.
"Gladly," he said, his eyes glinting with intent as he forcefully pushed open the doors, causing them to slam against the walls with a loud bang.
Immediately, everyone went silent, but Lucifer strode in confidently, ready to take control of the situation. His presence alone seemed to calm the room, as all eyes turned towards him in anticipation of his next move. Octavia lingered at the door with Charlie, who watched in awe at Lucifer's commanding presence. She knew that whatever was about to happen, Lucifer would handle it with finesse and authority. Octavia could see her father in chains, but Charlie squeezing her wrist reminded her that if she went barging in now, it could make things worse. She took a deep breath, trusting in Lucifer's ability to handle the situation with tact and strategy.
"Been a long time, Satan. When was the last time we saw each other? Two, three thousand years ago?" Lucifer asked quietly, but his voice rang out with power and authority. Octavia could feel the tension in the air as Lucifer and Satan locked eyes, their gazes filled with centuries of history.
"Lucifer," Satan rumbled, his voice low and menacing. "What brings you here after all this time?"
Octavia could sense the weight of their shared past in the air, knowing that whatever was about to unfold would have far-reaching consequences.
"Well, you know, Satan, it's funny, considering I got a phone call from Stolas' kid, begging me to save her father. She told me everything she knew, and I couldn't just ignore it," Lucifer replied, his eyes narrowing in power. Octavia watched as the tension between the two powerful beings seemed to crackle with intensity, unsure of what would happen next.
"Luci, baby, where the fuck have you been?" Asmodeus yelled from his seat with the rest of the sins, somehow breaking the tension with his casual tone.
Lucifer turned to face him, a smirk playing on his lips as he replied, "Just tying up some loose ends, Ozzie."
Mammon rolled his eyes at the exchange, muttering under his breath about Lucifer always getting himself into trouble. The room fell silent as Lucifer's gaze shifted back to Octavia, a determined look in his eyes. Lucifer gestured with his head toward her father, and Octavia ran toward him, hugging him once the chains on him fell away.
"Okay, everyone, I think we're done here. If you're not a sin, go away!" Lucifer yelled, and everyone left, leaving Lucifer, Charlie, Stolas, Octavia, the sins, Blitz, and his crew.
"Stolas!"
Blitz crashed into Stolas, embracing him tightly as tears welled up in his eyes. Stolas chuckled, patting Blitz on the back before turning to Lucifer with a grateful smile, knowing they had all come out of this ordeal stronger than ever.
"Thank you, sire," Stolas said, bowing his head as he wrapped his arms around Blitz and Octavia.
"Shit, Luci, it's nice to see you come out of your cave," Beelzebub said, grinning as she playfully punched Lucifer in the arm. Lucifer smirked, feeling a sense of camaraderie and unity among his friends and allies.
"It truly is nice to see you after all these years," Belphegor said quietly and yawned, making Mammon snort in amusement at his fellow sin's quiet attitude. Lucifer chuckled as Charlie made her way over, tackling Beelzebub in a bear hug, making her laugh,
"We've missed having you around, ya bitch," Mammon added, giving Belphegor a playful nudge with his elbow.
"Hey, Uncle Ozzie, how's your boyfriend?" Charlie asked, her eyes glittering in amusement. Mammon groaned loudly, muttering under his breath about how he was tired of hearing about Ozzie's love life.
"He's fine, Charlie, but let's focus on more important matters," Asmodeus replied, trying to steer the conversation in a different direction. "We should do dinner, Lu," Leviathan suggested, and got agreements from the surrounding sins.
"We should go, my owlette," Stolas whispered, and Octavia nodded.
Stolas and Octavia walked out of the trial room, followed by Blitz and his crew, leaving the sins to continue their discussion about dinner plans. As they left, they could still hear the Sins debating over whether to go to a fancy restaurant or order takeout. Octavia chuckled softly, grateful for the distraction from the chaos of Hell.
"I'm glad you're okay, Dad," Octavia said as they all made their way towards the exit. Stolas smiled fondly at his daughter, grateful for her presence and support during such tumultuous times. The sound of laughter and bickering from the Sins faded away as they stepped out into the cool night air, ready to enjoy a peaceful evening together.
