"We need to talk..."
The rat didn't even look up. It was focused on playing a video game, jumping around on the controller.
"WE.NEED.TO.TALK."
When it still didn't react, Tadej turned off the tv.
"HEY! I was winning!"
"That is exactly why we need to talk..."
"What?"
"Well, I know we had a fun season...."
"Yesss, so many wins!"
"And I love to start a race with you tucked cozily in my helmet! I love that people have started noticing the tufts that appear because you pull my hair when it's time to go zooom..."
"I know all this, why are you telling me this?"
"Just listen...The thing is: I love our collab. But I feel like it's gone too far. We had so many wins this season, it's gone over your head. You're addicted. I don't think it's healthy."
"But..."
"No. You want to finish your food faster, you want to be the first asleep, the first to wake up, you want to shower quicker than me... I'm worried winning is all you care about now."
The rat looked incredulous: "What else should I care about?"
The voice that returned sounded meager and desperate. "Me?!"
