Sapphires need Diamonds but Diamonds need Princesses

Chapter Text

Dimande shook Saphir hard. "You IDIOT, you haven't been eating OR sleeping? Wake up, dammit!" Petz stood to the side, crying in fear. Dimande ignored her and shook harder. Saphir groaned, his eyes opening slowly.
"Big... brother?" Saphir snuggled closer subconsciously, seeking the warmth and security. Thinking nothing of it, Dimande allowed the affection, wrapping his arms tighter around the smaller male. "Please... don't leave."
Dimande frowned, his heart twisting at the weak plea. "I won't." He promised, running his fingers through thick blue hair. "I'll stay until you wake back up. And then I will feed you breakfast so you don't go dying on us. You're the brains in all of this." A flicker of disappointment formed in Saphir's chest. Oh... his brother only cared about how well he did his work. He wanted their strategist, not to love someone like him. Saphir shook away the thought, pressing his face in Dimande's chest. The older still didn't push him away, so he sat like that until he fell back asleep.
Upon waking, Dimande fed him and then left to work. Saphir layed back down, curling up. They were about to have a VERY unhappy house guest, and an even unhappier little prince. Not that he'd be able to do much, especially when starved and sleep deprived. He really should have been handling things better. Saphir KNEW not everything could go the way he wanted, but it still made his chest hurt, and he hated it. He closed his eyes, falling asleep again, fresh tears slowly spilling from between his closed eyelids.
As he slept, Dimande managed to kidnap Princess Serenity, locking her in a large spare room only a couple halls away. She screamed in fear and rage, trying over and over to get out, and Dimande simply hummed contentedly. He was glad he'd gotten her. Now all he had to do was make her agree to be his.
