Day 2
Christmas Lights

It had taken all afternoon to find the perfect one, both women giggling between swings of the axe before dragging it back to the cabin. It stood proudly in the corner, the only decoration a string of colourful fairy lights wrapped loosely around it.

The evening had set in quickly. The soft glow from the string lights blanketed their bodies like flickering candlelight.

“Will you still love me when we’re old and grey?”

The whisper-soft words, muffled by the bare skin of Villanelle’s shoulder, were so quiet that they could easily be missed. If they’d still been in London the words would have been lost under the sounds of traffic and daily life, but, there, in the cabin they hung in the silence.

“It’s sweet that you think I’ll make it long enough to be old and grey,” she quipped, her slender hands stroking soothingly through her dark hair.

Eve inhaled sharply, her dark eyes flickering shut.

“You will,” she breathed insistently, while her fingers lightly ghosted over the scars littering her lover’s chest.

A low hum was the only reply she offered, her lips pressed lovingly against the top of her head. Eve melted back into her warmth.

Eve twisted her head and brushed her lips slowly against her neck. Softy first, and then firmer, her tongue trailing across the smooth skin to meet her jaw where she peppered kisses.

“What do you want, baby?” She whispered into her hair.

With fingers gripping her chin, her eyes met Villanelle’s rapidly darkening stare. She pressed her lips against hers.

“I want to forget,” she sighed desperately into her lips. “Please make me forget.”

She gazed back, watching the colours dance across her dark eyes as the string lights pulsed.

She smiled softly before her lips surged forward to meet Eve’s, licking hungrily into her mouth. Her fingers tangled in her long hair then firmly pulled exposing the length of her neck. Her mouth traced down its valleys, leaving biting kisses, a trail of reddening skin left in its wake.

Her hands glided down her shoulders, sliding the straps of her vest down her arms.

She sucked a mark against her shoulder, soothing the skin with a kiss.

“I’ll make you forget,” she promised. “I’ll be so good to you.”

Eve shivered as her hands slid lower to caress her breast. Her thumb circled over her nipple, sparks of pleasure coursing through Eve’s blood, making her feel lust drunk.

“You’ll be good for me,” she continued, her voice low and husky, betraying how affected she was. “Won’t you, baby?”

Silently, she nodded her agreement, a soft moan tumbling from her lips.

Her thumb paused.

She flipped their positions, straddling her thighs and pushing her back to lie down across the sofa.

“Words, Eve.” She teased, leaning down, her breath ghosting where her thumb had been seconds before.

“Y-yes,” she stuttered breathlessly.

“Yes, what?” She smirked in amusement. “Do you even know what you are agreeing to?”

She glared back, for a second, but it lacked any real fire behind it.

“You don’t,” she exclaimed in delight, a light giggle tumbling joyfully from her lips. “Do you?”

“V–” she whined, before adding in a serious tone. “If you don’t fuck me I may die.”

She rolled her hips up against hers, desperate for friction.

Her green speckled eyes flickered closed throwing her head back, lost in the sensation, before she giggled.

“You silly woman,” she grinned, shaking her head playfully before leaning in. “You won’t actually die.”

Her soft blonde hair fell down across her face and swept lightly across Eve’s skin. She paused, her breath hot against her chest.

“I-I’ll be good,” she stuttered, remembering.

The corner of her lips twitched before her mouth engulfed the nipple in its soft wet heat.

Her back arched up from the sofa cushions, a desperate moan echoing through the silence of the cabin. The lights continued to pulse over them, flickering shadows across the walls, as her lover’s fingers glided down the smooth planes of her stomach, creeping under her waistband to caress against the damp patch on her underwear.

Breathing hard, she smirked.

“Good girl.”
