Chapter Text

N had ran and ran and found himself in a bustling city street. The sudden rush of noise and activity was overwhelming, after spending so long in the quiet confines of the laboratory. He took a moment to get his bearings, his ears flattened against his head as he tried to sort through the cacophony of sounds around him.

N watched as humans rushed past him, completely oblivious to his presence. He marveled at their speed and efficiency, the way they moved through the city with a purpose and a sense of urgency. He could smell the scent of food wafting from the nearby restaurants, the sweet aroma of baked goods from the bakeries, and the acrid stench of exhaust from the cars. It was all so new and overwhelming, but also exhilarating.

N's stomach rumbled, reminding him that he hadn't eaten in a while. He had been too focused on escaping the laboratory to think about food, but now that he was free, his appetite was growing by the minute. He looked around, searching for something to eat. He could see humans eating all sorts of food at the restaurants and cafes, but he wasn't sure if any of it would be suitable for a wolf. So he quickly went into an ally way to transform.

N felt a strange sensation wash over him as he began to transform. His body twisted and contorted, bones snapping and reforming as he shifted from wolf to human. When the transformation was complete, he found himself standing in the alleyway, completely naked.

He looked down at his human body, feeling strange and unfamiliar in his new form. N emerged from the alleyway, completely unaware of the rules of public decency. He was used to running around in the wilderness or being in the lab without clothes, where modesty was not a concern. As he walked down the street, he drew the attention of everyone around him. People stared and pointed, some gasping in shock and others averting their eyes.

To N, his nakedness was not unusual. He had spent his entire life without clothes, and the concept of modesty was foreign to him. To the people around him, however, he was a sight to behold. They had never seen a naked teenager walking around in broad daylight before, and it was both shocking and captivating at the same time.

Some people were too embarrassed to even look at him, while others took out their phones to snap pictures. N was oblivious to all of this, his focus solely on finding something to eat. He walked through the streets, his bare feet slapping against the pavement. He could feel the stares of people burning into his skin, but he didn't care.

All he could think about was satisfying his hunger. Finally, N spotted a dumpster in a nearby alley, it smelled awful but it was sure to have food. It was filled with various discarded food items, some of which were still edible. He walked over to the dumpster and began rummaging through it, not caring about the filth and grime. He had eaten worse things in his time in the lab, and this was no different. N's eyes widened as he saw the array of food items in the dumpster.

There were so many things that he had never seen before, each one looking more enticing than the last. He reached in and grabbed a half-eaten pizza slice, his stomach growling with anticipation. He bit into it, the flavor of cheese and tomato sauce made his eyes go wide.

N quickly finished the pizza slice and moved on to the next item. He found a half-eaten burger, still warm from being discarded. He devoured it in a few bites, relishing the taste of meat and buns. He was so hungry that he didn't even care about the fact that he was eating out of a dumpster. To him, this was just another source of food, another way to survive.

As he continued to rummage through the dumpster, N's stomach began to feel full. He had eaten so much food in such a short amount of time that he was beginning to feel bloated. He sat down on the pavement, rubbing his stomach as he let out a satisfied burp. He had never felt so full in his life, and it was a strange but not entirely unpleasant sensation. As N sat there, his stomach slowly began to settle. He leaned back against the wall of the alleyway, feeling drowsy and content. He looked around, taking in his surroundings with a newfound appreciation. He had spent so long in captivity, but now he was free to explore and experience the world as he pleased.

Suddenly, N heard the sound of footsteps approaching. He tensed, his ears perking up as he tried to identify the source of the noise. He looked up and saw a group of teenagers walking towards him, led by a girl with long black hair and a confident stride. The girl and her friends stopped in front of N, their eyes widening in shock as they took in his appearance.

“What the hell is going on here?” the girl asked, her voice laced with disbelief. “Why is this guy naked in the alleyway?”

N looked up at the girl, his expression blank. He had no idea what she was talking about, and he was too tired to care about his current state of undress. The other teens exchanged glances, their eyes darting between N and the girl as they tried to process the situation. The girl stepped closer to N, her eyes scanning his body with a mixture of curiosity and concern.

“Are you okay?” she asked, her voice softer now. “Did something happen to you?”

N tensed up as the girl reached out to touch him, his instincts telling him that she was a threat. He growled low in his throat, baring his teeth in warning. N continued to glare at the girl, his body tense and coiled like a spring.

He was wary of her kindness, not trusting that she truly meant what she said. The other teens behind her were watching the interaction with interest, some of them whispering to each other in hushed tones.

The thought of killing the girl and her friends flashed through N's mind, his instincts screaming at him to protect himself. He clenched his fists, his muscles tensing as he prepared to attack. The desire for human flesh gnawed at N's mind, a primal urge that he couldn't ignore.

He had tasted it before, and the memory of it still lingered in his mind. He could feel his teeth sharpening as his thoughts turned darker, his body preparing for the hunt. The girl seemed to sense the shift in N's demeanor, her eyes widening in alarm.

"Hey, calm down," she said, taking a step back. "There's no need for violence here."

N's eyes locked onto the girl, his gaze burning with a predatory intensity. He could smell the fear coming off of her, and it only fueled his hunger. He took a step forward, his body moving with an animalistic grace. The other teens behind her began to back away, sensing that something was very wrong.

In an instant, N's body began to morph and change, his bones cracking and reshaping as he transformed into his wolf form. His body grew larger and more powerful, his fur sprouting from his skin as his limbs elongated and twisted into those of a wolf. His face became longer and more snout-like, his ears pointing upwards and his teeth growing sharper.

The girl and her friends stumbled back in horror, their eyes wide with terror as they beheld the sight of N in his wolf form. N let out a low, guttural growl, his yellow eyes fixed on the group of humans before him. He bared his teeth, his muscles tensed and ready to pounce at a moment's notice. With lightning speed, N launched himself at the group of teens, his powerful legs propelling him forward in a blur of motion.

The girl and her friends screamed in terror as he landed on top of them, his weight crushing them to the ground. They struggled to escape, but N was too strong and too quick. N's jaws snapped shut, his sharp teeth sinking into the flesh of one of the teenagers. The boy screamed in pain as N's teeth tore through his skin, the sound echoing through the alleyway. The other teens continued to struggle, but their efforts were in vain. N was a force of nature, his instincts driving him to hunt and kill.

N's instincts took over completely, his mind focused solely on the task of eliminating the threat before him. He let go of the boy's arm and pounced on another teen, pinning her to the ground with ease. She screamed and begged for mercy, but N didn't listen. He was too far gone, too consumed by the hunger and the thrill of the hunt.

N's jaws clamped down on the girl's neck, his teeth sinking into her flesh with brutal efficiency. Blood sprayed across his face as he ripped out her throat, the life leaving her body in a gurgling gasp. The other teens watched in horror, their faces pale and terrified. They knew that they were next. So the teens scrambled to their feet and fled from the alleyway, N watched them go with a mixture of indifference and satisfaction.

He licked his blood-stained jaws, savoring the taste of his prey. He wasn't hungry since he had already ate, but the thrill of the hunt had still left him feeling exhilarated.

The alleyway was now shrouded in darkness as the sun went down, the streetlights casting long shadows across the ground. N remained where he was, his eyes adjusting to the dim light. He could hear the sounds of the city all around him, the hum of traffic and the distant chatter of people echoing through the night air. With a flash of light, N's body shrank and changed, transforming from his wolf form into that of a small puppy.

He was now a fluffy, white ball of fur, his yellow eyes wide and innocent as he looked around the alleyway. N shook his fur, adjusting to his new size and shape. He was much more vulnerable in this form, but he also felt more agile and less conspicuous. N stumbled across a discarded food wrapper, his small puppy nose twitching with interest. He sniffed at it, his tail wagging slightly as he realized it was food. He nudged at the wrapper with his nose, trying to get it to open so he could eat the contents. He wasn’t hungry he just wanted to taste whatever it was.

N let out a small yelp as a human's foot sent the wrapper flying out into the street. He looked up at the human, he had heard the human chuckle, his yellow eyes flashing with annoyance. He growled softly, his tiny puppy teeth bared in a snarl. N sniffed the air, trying to commit the human's scent to memory.

He didn't forget a single detail, his wolf-like senses allowing him to remember scents with perfect accuracy. He waited until the human was out of sight before darting out into the street, his small paws padding silently on the pavement.

N quickly made his way to the discarded wrapper, his nose guiding him towards it. He sniffed at it, making sure it was still edible. Satisfied that it was, he began to nibble at the food inside, his small body wiggling with excitement. Just as N was about to dig into the food, he heard the sound of one of those big vehicles. He froze, his ears perking up as he heard the screeching of the tires. The car screeched to a halt just inches away from N, the tires squealing as they dug into the pavement.

N looked up at the car, his small body trembling with shock and adrenaline. He could feel the heat radiating from the engine, and he knew how close he had come to being run over. The door to the backseat of the car swung open,

A girl. Well not just a girl. A teen girl. She had pretty purple hair and eyes. N didn’t even register her picking him up and carrying him to the car. She was too beautiful.

Uzi was sleeping in her room, she was sleeping soundly on her bed, her breathing was slow and calm. Her arms moved up, she pulled the pillow under her head and snuggled it, her legs curled up against her body as she mumbled something quietly. Uzi suddenly jerked awake, she shot up from her bed, hearing her mother screaming bloody murder.

"M-Mom?!”

she quickly got out of bed, her heart was racing from the sudden awakening, her body still in fight or flight mode as she hurried out of her room. She rushed down the hallway towards the direction of the noise, her mind was racing with worry as she pushed open the door to her mother's room. Uzi's eyes widened as she took in the sight of her mother, she was standing there, a hand in her pregnant belly and a puddle in of water under her. And Uzi was instantly filled with panic and concern.

“Mom?! What happened?! Are you alright?!”

Uzi rushed to her mother's side, her eyes darting between her mother's face and her belly

"Is it the baby? Are you in labor?!"

Uzi's hands hovered over her mother, unsure of what to do as she panicked.

"S-Should I call a doctor? O-Or get dad?!"

Nori let out a groan of pain as another contraction hit her, her grip on her belly tightening. Nori gritted her teeth as she tried to speak through the pain.

"C-Contractions...hurts..."

Uzi bit her lip,as she watched her mother struggle through the pain of the contractions.

"Just breathe mom...try to breathe..."

Nori nodded, taking deep breaths as the contraction slowly subsided, her body still tense and shaking slightly from the pain.

Uzi reached out and gently took her mother's hand, giving it a comforting squeeze.

"Just hold on, okay? I'll go get dad..."

Uzi sprinted through the halls of the house, her mind racing as she made her way to her father's door making office. She burst through the door of her father's office, panting heavily as she tried to catch her breath.

Khan was at his desk, looking up in surprise as Uzi burst in.

“Dad! Mom is in labor!”

Khan rushed out of the office, heading towards his wife's room.  Rushing her out of the house to the car. Uzi watched as her parents left, the door closing behind them and leaving her alone in the house She felt a sense of helplessness and anxiety wash over her, the weight of the situation bearing down on her. She paced back and forth in the living room, unable to sit still as she waited for any news. Hours passed.

Uzi busied herself with feeding and taking care of all the animals in the house, trying to keep her mind occupied and distracted from her worries She filled their food bowls, refilled their water, and even gave them extra treats. Uzi had a wide variety of pets and reptiles, from dogs and cats to birds and lizards. She loved all of them dearly, and taking care of them provided her with a sense of comfort and routine in the midst of her anxiety.

Many of her pets were strays that she had rescued off the streets since she was little she had given them a loving home and taking care of them with all her heart. She had a soft spot for animals and always tried to help those in need, whether it was a stray cat or a wounded bird. As she fed and cared for her animals, Uzi couldn't help but feel grateful for their presence. They were a constant source of companionship and love, helping to ease her worries even if only for a moment.

She smiled as she scratched behind the ears of one of her dogs, feeling a sense of peace in the midst of the chaos. As the day wore on, Uzi began to grow restless again. She had finished feeding and caring for all the animals, but the wait for news from the hospital was still agonizing. She sat on the couch, staring at the tv as it played her favorite anime. After what felt like an eternity, her phone finally buzzed, indicating an incoming call. Uzi picked up the phone, feeling a mix of confusion and disappointment as she saw that it was her aunt Alice calling instead of her parents

“Hello?”

Alice's voice sounded calm on the other end of the line.

"Hey Uzi, it's me. Your parents asked me to come and pick you up and take you to the hospital.”

Uzi's heart leapt in her chest at Alice's words. The thought of being able to see her parents and get updates on her mom's condition was a huge relief.

"Really? You're coming to get me?"

Alice chuckled softly

"Yeah, your parents figured you'd want to be there with them, so they asked me to come pick you up and bring you to the hospital."

Uzi felt gratitude towards her aunt, as well as a sense of excitement and anticipation.

"Thank you so much, Alice. I'll be ready when you get here."

Alice assured her that she would be there soon, and Uzi quickly hung up the phone and started gathering her things. She wanted to be prepared and ready to go as soon as possible, her heart racing with the thought of finally being able to see her parents and get some answers. After packing a small bag with some essentials, Uzi anxiously waited by the door, pacing back and forth as she watched for Alice's car to pull up outside. When she saw headlights approaching through the window.

She practically leapt to her feet, grabbing her bag and heading outside to meet Alice.

Alice got out of the car and greeted Uzi with a warm smile.

"Hey kiddo, ready to go?"

Uzi nodded quickly, feeling a mixture of nervousness and excitement.

"Yes, I'm ready. Let's go see Mom and Dad."

*Alice patted Uzi on the shoulder reassuringly before they both got into the car*

As they drove to the hospital, the atmosphere was tense and silent, the only sound being the hum of the engine and the occasional car passing by. But then, Uzi's eyes widened in surprise as Alice suddenly slammed on the brakes, causing the car to skid to a halt.

"What the-?!"

Uzi looked out the window, her eyes falling on the small white puppy that was obliviously trying to eat the wrapper.

"Oh my god, it's a puppy!"

Uzi quickly unbuckled her seatbelt and opened the car door, jumping out to check on the puppy. Uzi knelt down on the ground next to the puppy, gently reaching out a hand to pet it.

"Hey there, little guy. Where did you come from?"

The puppy looked up at her with wide, big, yellow and innocent eyes, It was clear that the puppy was stray and had been on its own for some time. When Uzi lifted it into her arms, it quickly settled down and nuzzled against her chest. Uzi heard the beeping and shouting of the other drivers behind Alice’s car, but she ignored them, focusing all her attention on the puppy in her arms. She gave Alice an apologetic look as she walked back to the car with the puppy cradled against her chest.

Alice rolled down the window and sighed, looking at Uzi with annoyance.

"Really, Uzi? You're picking up strays again?"

Uzi chuckled sheepishly as she climbed back into the car, still holding the puppy close

"I couldn't just leave it there. It was all alone and helpless."

But little did Uzi know..this puppy wasn’t just a puppy.

N's guarded expression softened as the teen girl approached him, his yellow eyes fixed on her face.

He was struck by her beauty, his small puppy brain unable to comprehend the full extent of it. She said words to him that flew over his head. He allowed her to pick him up, too captivated by her presence to resist. The girl cradled N in her arms, her touch gentle and surprisingly soothing. He found himself relaxing in her embrace, his small body nestling against her chest. He looked up at her, his eyes wide with curiosity and a hint of wonder. He had never been held like this before, and it was a strange yet pleasant sensation. The girl smiled down at N, her eyes sparkling with warmth and affection. She began to pet him, her fingers gently running through his soft fur. He let out a small whine of pleasure, his body melting under her touch.

The girl climbed back into the car, N still cradled in her arms. She sat down in the backseat, gently placing N on her lap.

He curled up against her, his small body feeling safe and protected in her presence. He looked up at her with a mix of curiosity and trust, his yellow eyes fixed on her face as she began to speak to the person in the front seat. Sure, he understood English but nothing they said was going through his head. The driver shifted gears and started the car, pulling away from the curb and heading down the street.

As they drove, N's eyes widened as he took in his surroundings. they were heading towards a building that looked like the lab. He tensed up slightly, his instincts warning him that this wasn't a good idea. N looked up at the girl, trying to communicate his concern with his puppy eyes. He didn't want to go to the hospital, but he was still trapped in her lap, unable to escape.

The girl noticed N's unease and patted his head reassuringly. She seemed to understand his discomfort, and she whispered softly to him,

"It's okay, puppy. We're not going there for you. Just stay quiet, alright?"

N let out a small whine, still feeling apprehensive about the situation. But he trusted the girl, even if he hasn’t known her for at least an hour. But her scent made him trust her. So he tried to calm himself down. He nuzzled against her stomach, taking comfort in her scent and presence. He would have to wait and see what was going on.

The car pulled into the hospital parking lot, and Alice parked the car in a secluded spot near the entrance. The girl opened the door and got out, carrying N in her arms as she made her way towards the hospital. Alice followed close behind, looking around to make sure they weren't being watched.

As they entered the hospital, N was overwhelmed by the sterile smell of antiseptic and the bustle of people moving around them. He pressed closer to the girl, his small body clinging to her for comfort. He hated the noise and the unfamiliar surroundings. The hospital reminded N of the lab he had been held in before.

The bright lights, the smell of chemicals, and the sterile environment brought back memories of being experimented on and kept in a cage. He began to tremble in the girl's arms, his small body shaking with fear and trauma. He whimpered softly, desperately wanting to get out of there.

The girl felt N trembling and heard his whimpers. She looked down at him with concern, realizing that the hospital was triggering him. She tried to soothe him, rubbing his back gently and whispering reassuring words to him.

"Shh, it's okay. You're safe now. I won't let anything happen to you."

The girl took N into the dimly lit room, which provided a stark contrast to the bright and sterile environment of the rest of the hospital. The warm yellow light gave the room a cozy and comforting atmosphere, and the soft glow seemed to calm N down slightly. He lifted his head from the girl's chest and looked around, taking in the change in scenery. N reluctantly let go of the girl as she placed him down on the floor.

He watched as she walked over to the bed where the woman and man were sitting. N watched as the girl walked over to the bed, leaving him alone on the floor. He sat there, feeling a bit lost and vulnerable without her comforting presence. He watched as she spoke to the woman on the bed, who was holding a small cub. The man next to her looked up at N with a curious expression, but said nothing.

The woman on the bed noticed N sitting on the floor and her eyes widened in surprise.

She whispered something to the girl, and the girl turned around to look at N. She gave him a reassuring smile and motioned for him to come over to the bed. The woman looked down at N with a mixture of curiosity and fascination. She gently patted the spot next to her, silently inviting him to come closer.

N looked up at the woman, unsure of what to do. But the girl gave him an encouraging nod, and he reluctantly moved closer to the woman, inching his way towards her side. The woman reached out and gently stroked N's fur, her touch surprisingly gentle and soothing. N tensed up at first, still wary of the woman and her touch. But as she continued to pet him, he began to relax slightly. The sensation of her fingers running through his fur was actually quite pleasant, and he found himself leaning into her touch.

The woman smiled as N began to lean into her touch, his initial fear and hesitation slowly giving way to trust and comfort. The man beside her watched with interest, a hint of amusement in his eyes as he observed the interaction between N and the woman. The girl watched as well, a smile playing on her lips. She was happy to see that N was slowly warming up to the woman and allowing her to pet him. The woman spoke to the girl in a low voice, her eyes never leaving N as she continued to stroke his fur.

N's eyes grew heavy as the woman's gentle touch and soothing strokes lulled him into a state of drowsiness. He had never experienced such tenderness and comfort before, besides when he was still with his family. It was slowly relaxing him into a peaceful sleep. The woman looked down at N with a fond expression, her hand continuing to stroke his fur as he slept. She was amazed by how adorable and peaceful he looked in his sleep.

And before N knew it, N's eyes fluttered open as he was suddenly awakened by the loud cries of a human cub. He looked around in confusion, trying to get his bearings and figure out where he was.

He was in a strange room, unfamiliar with his surroundings. But as he looked up, he saw the girl standing nearby, holding the human cub in her arms and trying to calm it down and the woman who had birthed it was watching with a small smile.

N watched as the girl tried to soothe the crying human cub, bouncing it gently in her arms and murmuring soft words to it. The baby continued to wail, its tiny face scrunched up in distress. N felt a sense of curiosity mixed with wariness as he observed the baby. He had never seen a human cub up close before, and he wasn't sure what to make of its loud and fussy behavior.

N's sensitive nose twitched as he picked up a variety of scents in the room. He could smell the girl, the baby, and something else... something that reminded him of the wild animals he had encountered before. He took a deep breath, trying to identify the unfamiliar scents. They were different from the sterile environment of the hospital and the city. N's eyes widened as he realized that the scents were coming from other animals. He looked around the room, his ears perking up as he tried to locate the source of the smells. He spotted a small pet carrier in the corner of the room, it was empty but the smell of something strange wasn’t faint.

N's eyes widened even further as he approached the carrier. He saw a wide variety of animals inside different cages, from insects to reptiles to birds. He had never seen so many different creatures in one place before, and he was both intrigued and overwhelmed by the sheer diversity. N's hunting instincts kicked in as he looked at the various animals in their cages. His heart began to race, and his body tensed up as his predatory instincts took over. He felt a primal urge to chase, capture, and consume these animals. It was a deeply ingrained instinct, one that had been honed over countless generations of evolution and adaptation.

N struggled to suppress his instincts, fighting against the overwhelming urge to pounce on the defenseless animals. He clenched his fists, his claws digging into his palms as he tried to keep himself in check. He knew that he couldn't give in to his hunting instincts. He was no longer in the wild, and these animals were not his prey. He had to remember that they were pets, cared for and loved by the girl who had taken him in.

N closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. He knew that he needed to control his impulses and keep his instincts in check. The last thing he wanted to do was cause any harm or distress to the girl or her animals. He opened his eyes again, his gaze drifting back to the girl who was still trying to soothe the crying human cub. He watched her for a moment, taking comfort in her presence and the calm aura she exuded. N couldn't help but admire the girl's beauty as he watched her. She had a soft, gentle appearance that contrasted sharply with his own wild and untamed nature. Her eyes were filled with kindness and warmth, and her smile was radiant. She seemed to embody everything that was good and pure in the world, and N found himself drawn to her like a moth to a flame.

N's thoughts turned more primal as he continued to watch the girl. He couldn't help but feel a stirring in his loins as his animal instincts began to take over once again. The idea of mating season, of the urge to breed and reproduce, was always at the forefront of his mind during this time of year. And now, in the presence of this beautiful girl, those urges were intensified even further.

N tried to push those thoughts aside, knowing that it was inappropriate to feel that way towards the girl since he had just met her. But it was difficult to ignore the growing desire within him, especially as he watched her care for the human cub with such tenderness and affection. He felt a pang of jealousy, wishing that she would look at him the same way she looked at the baby. He wanted her attention, her touch, her affection... and more.

N's senses were attuned to the girl's scent, and as he inhaled deeply, he felt a sense of calm wash over him. Her scent was like a balm to his wild and restless soul, soothing his troubled mind and calming his racing heart. He had never felt such a strong connection to anyone before, not even in the wild. It was as if her scent had some sort of magical power over him, drawing him in and making him crave her presence even more. Could it be that they were soulmates? The thought filled him with a mixture of hope and excitement, as well as a sense of longing and yearning.

N continued to watch the girl, his eyes never leaving her as he continued to breathe in her scent. He felt an overwhelming sense of attachment and protectiveness towards her, a desire to be close to her and keep her safe. He couldn't help but imagine what it would be like to be her mate, to be bonded to her for life. The thought sent a shiver down his spine, both thrilling and terrifying at the same time.

N was caught off guard as the girl suddenly picked him up, breaking his train of thought and bringing him back to reality. He let out a surprised yelp as he was lifted off the ground, his body tensing up for a moment before he realized what was happening. He looked up at the girl, his eyes wide with surprise and a hint of confusion. He wasn't used to being picked up and handled like this, but there was something about the way she touched him that felt...comforting.

N's ears perked up as he heard the girl's name mentioned. It was a strange name, but it sounded fitting for her. He repeated the name in his head, committing it to memory as he looked up at her with a curious expression. He had never been good with names, the only names he’d remembered were J’s and V’s but for some reason, he felt a strange desire to remember this one. It was important to him, connected to this girl who had captured his attention and his heart.

Uzi….

I literally can’t stop writing. I’ve got too much free time.
