Rin is lost.
Totally lose.
It all started when he thought that he perhaps should go through Granite Cave to Dewford, since it's the only option to go to the said town.
Along with that, Rin didn't prepare himself with many rope ladders to escape easily if he got himself stuck. So the brunette got lost many times in the big darn cave before Zo, his Pokémon partner, gave him a disappointed look.
Rin sighed as he lay back on the rough rock walls while the small, white Ghost Pokémon sat near his legs, taking a nap. The brunette looked through his Pokégear, the bright light flashing through the empty cave and providing a light source.
As Rin wandered through his thoughts, he suddenly heard footsteps echoing through the cave, followed by the bright light of a flashlight. Before he could respond, zo, who was sleeping near him, flinched from her sleeping pose and ready herself to attack.
As the footsteps continued to echo, Rin could see a view: a male with a blue net appeared. He wore a gray suit with a hot pink tie, and following along with him was a Metagross. He looked young, probably around her age, and quite attractive—Rin mentally shook his head to clear that thought.
As the stranger noticed the struggling brunette, he quickly jogged toward him with a worried look. "Are you lost?" he asked.
Rin feels like he should have said no and moved on without bothering the bluenett but the he knows that Zo would bite him.
"Uh-" he fake cough. "It looks like it".
The stranger smiles and handded him an escap robe. Rin stared at it, never in his life, the brunette would be so happy seeing the hairy brown robe.
"Also If you follow the path here, you can leave this place" he added while he pointed at his own pokegear.
"Thank you".
"No problem, the name is Steven" the bluenett replied with a shiny smile.
Rin swore he heard the name basically around the whole Hoenn region but the brunette didn't ask anything.
"Im Rin nice to meet you " he replied.
"And thanks for the help".
"Of course"
With that exchange ended, they parted ways in the dark granite cave. As Rin heard his footsteps echo away, he wondered if he would ever see the man again.
