His tangled green curls are a mess against white sheets, the sprinkling of freckles dusting his cheeks reminding Shouto of a constellation, dots of starlight scattered across his skin, trailing down to his bare shoulders. The overwhelming urge to reach out and trace those freckles with his fingers—to experience their softness once more—hits Shouto like a wave, rendering him breathless.
“He’s too pretty for his own good,” comes a gruff voice from his right, startling Shouto from his reverie. He sees Katsuki sprawled beside him, a striking contrast of pale blond and scarlet red. Shouto’d never seen him like this: blond spikes undone by eager hands, soft pink lips slightly swollen. Shouto kissed those lips last night—he couldn’t help but recall how warm they were, how electrifying the connection felt, shivers coursing from his core to the tips of his fingers. He wants to kiss them again.
