Three days. Oscar has been tortured in the Monstra for three days now. The Happy Huntress, Qrow, ace ops, and even teams RWBY and JNR did not come for him in all these three days. Of course, Ozpin was with him. He was the one controlling Oscar"s body at the moment, but that only increased Hazel"s pain and blows.
And so, the man left the torture room. Literally. Ozpin and Oscar switched, the boy was already beginning to doubt the possibility of his salvation and the arrival of friends
"Oscar, everything will be fine. I"m sure they"re already looking for you," said Ozpin, who sensed Oscar"s doubt.
" I hope so. I don"t think I"ll last much" a little pause "Oz?"
"Yes?"
"What happens if I die?"
Silence
"I... Will I be the voice in someone"s head? Are you just reincarnating into another person? Is it over for me, or am I going to go into someone"s head with you?"
Silence
"Oz? Ozpin, answer the question"
Silence
"You"re not going to die," Ozpin said in a flat voice, although Oscar could feel his fear and anxiety. Fear and worry for Oscar.
"I know but..." Oscar closed his eyes "I don"t want to ruin someone"s life. Not now."
"Oscar, you"re not going to die. I will not allow this, I–" Ozpin was interrupted by the approaching sounds of footsteps. It was Emerald and Hazel.
"Kiddo, Salem has a surprise for you, so it"s better not to resist and keep quiet while we go and stay there," Emerald said while Hazel tied Oscar"s hands
Oscar wanted to resist, but he didn"t have the strength
Oscar was walking along the Monstra, and suddenly he heard voices
"Oscar? I can take control" no, not just Ozpin. He heard voices very similar to...
"Get away from us! We"ve come for Oscar! Where is he?!" Yang shouted
"Yang, please! You"ll only make it worse," Ren put his hand on Yang"s shoulder, using his semblance. The girl also decided to activate her own, and then the Lie was powerless
"Oscar!" Jaune shouted, hold on to the bars
Oscar was terrified. His friends were in some kind of magic cage, which Yang couldn"t break through even with Ember Celica"s new explosive bullets.
Oscar doubted that anything could
"What the... What did you do to him?!?" Yang"s eyes turned redder than usual when using her ability, and her hair seemed to burn twice as much
"My dear Ozma..." Oscar found it hard to breathe at the sight of her" ...Don"t you want to help your friends?
Oscar was silent
"Good. Hazel?" Salem clenched her hand with magic into a fist, the man entered the cell through the bars and hit Yang in the stomach "it"s simple. The password of the lamp and I don"t kill them"
"Oscar! Don"t tell her the lamp password! " Jaune shouted as Ren pulled the girl aside and helped her up.
"Hmm, well, if that"s the case..." a scream. Another scream. Hazel hit Yang twice
"Get away from them!!!" Tears were beginning to form in Oscar"s eyes
"Oscar, please don"t talk so much! It can get worse!" Ozpin literally screamed in a very panicked manner
"I know, but I want to save them!" Oscar looked at Emerald. She looked at him and disappeared.
And then Oscar heard Yang scream. He turned around and–
Yang was lying on the floor covered in blood. She had a blank, unfocused look. From what Oscar could see, she wasn"t breathing.
"–scar! Oscar!" Ozpin shouted. "It"s all an illusion. She"s alive. No one died.
A blatant lie
So much people are dead
"Well, since you didn"t fall for that either, my dear Ozma," Salem smiled, "then let"s try another way. Dear children, I want to present my experiment to you"
Salem looked at Oscar. Oscar didn"t like it.
"I"m going to try a new way to extract information using magic. Well, or you can save your Oscar by telling me the password for the lamp" Salem looked at the team JYR
"What are you going to do?!"
"Don"t touch him!!"
"How dare you!–"
"Silence" Salem pointed her hands at Oscar with charging magic "you have one last chance to tell me what I"m asking"
Everyone just stood there in silence, unable to say a word
"I understood you" The Witch pointed her hands at Oscar "well, little prince, say hello to my Ozma"
Magic burned his chest. But the pain he was experiencing was not only physical, but also wounded his soul. Tearing it apart
"Oscar!" He barely heard Ozpin, his scream drowned out everything around him.
Suddenly, a ball of green magic flashed around Oscar, and the light blinded the whole room
Salem was nowhere to be seen, Emerald and Hazel were also missing, the cage was gone, and next to Oscar was standing...
"Professor Ozpin?!" Yang shouted
Ozpin sat down next to Oscar and put his head on his lap
"What about Oscar? What happened at all?" Jaune ran up to the lying boy "how did you get here?"
" I don"t know. The most important thing now is to save Oscar "
"My semblance does not helping, he needs to be taken to the hospital! The damage is too big," said Jon
"Then let"s go faster!" Yang shouted
Ren, Jong, Yang and Ozpin ran up to the Atlas airship on which JYR had arrived with Oscar in their arms
An hour later, the team arrived at the Schnee house, Jaune was still trying to help Oscar and his aura, and was barely walking
The group literally broke into the house and everyone else met them there
"Guys what– Oh Gods!! What"s with Oscar!?!" Ruby screamed, running up to the boy
"Professor Ozpin?"
"How did you end up here?" Blake and Weiss asked, already helping him carry Oscar into the bedroom
"Now the most important thing is Oscar, not me"
They had already run up to the room, Weiss had already called Klein. Oscar was put in a pastel, and when Klein began to check his pulse, his expression changed
"He"s... got no pulse."
