Chapter Text
The gym, now filled with a mixture of disbelief and excitement after the chaos of Kageyama and Tsukishima’s very public kiss.
Hinata, still looking between Kageyama and Tsukishima, finally spoke up, his voice full of disbelief.
"How... how did you two even get together?!" he asked, his eyes wide with confusion.
"Aren’t you guys always fighting and bickering every time? You seriously *like* each other?"
The rest of Karasuno, along with the other teams, nodded, agreeing in chorus.
"Yeah! I always thought you two hated each other!" Tanaka said, clearly still processing the turn of events.
"You’re always so... aggressive toward each other!"
Kuroo grinned, glancing at Tsukishima. "This is way too good. I need to know the full story."
Tsukishima sighed as if this was the last thing he wanted to discuss. He pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose, looking around at the eager faces with complete done expression.
Kageyama, still comfortably perched in Tsukishima’s lap, tilted his head back and let out a small huff, as if he wasn’t bothered by the attention at all.
"It’s not that complicated," he grumbled, glancing at Tsukishima. "It’s just… sexual tension."
There was a long pause.
The room collectively froze for a moment, everyone staring at Kageyama with varying degrees of disbelief and confusion.
Bokuto blinked, clearly processing on what yhe younger raven said, "Wait, what? Did you just.. did you just say... sexual tension?!"
Tsukishima looked at Kageyama, his face a mix of embarrassment and exasperation.
"You’re unbelievable," he muttered, but there was a hint of a smile on his lips. He knew exactly what Kageyama meant.
Kageyama shrugged nonchalantly, still leaning against Tsukishima’s chest.
"Well, that's it. We fought, we bickered, and then... one day, it just... happened."
The others all turned to Tsukishima for confirmation. He sighed again, clearly not pleased by the sudden attention.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. There was always some kind of... tension between us. But it wasn’t like we were just *fighting* all the time."
"You were!" Hinata interrupted, looking completely flabbergasted. "You two were practically about to kill each other!"
"That’s just how we communicate," Tsukishima said with a shrug, adjusting his glasses.
"And I guess eventually, the tension... turned into something else."
Kageyama shot him a look, his eyes softening just a little.
"He’s right. It didn’t happen overnight. But after all that fighting and tension... we just got it out in the open."
There was a collective "oooooh" from the group as the pieces clicked into place.
Oikawa, who had been too stunned to say anything before, finally found his voice. "So you two were *basically* just too stubborn to admit it, huh? You really are just like an old married couple."
Kageyama smirked. "Whatever works."
Even though everyone was still processing the unexpected twist, it was clear that the two had found a rhythm, despite all the teasing and fighting. Tsukishima may have looked annoyed, but the fondness in his eyes for Kageyama couldn’t be missed.
Hinata, who was still processing everything, shot a confused look at the two. "So you *actually* get along now?"
Kageyama nodded, looking up at Tsukishima with a soft smile. "Yeah, we do."
Kuroo, grinning like a Cheshire cat, couldn’t resist stirring the pot a little more. "So, did you two finally resolve that sexual tension?"
Kageyama, still comfortably seated on Tsukishima’s lap, nodded confidently. "Of course. Kei takes care of me," he said with a contented smile, completely oblivious to the implications of his words.
Hinata blinked, tilting his head in confusion. "Wait, like… takes care of you? What do you mean?"
Before Kageyama could answer, Nishinoya leaned over to Hinata, whispering loudly,
"Hinata, whatever you’re thinking right now, it’s probably too innocent."
Hinata’s eyes widened even more, clearly not understanding what Nishinoya was hinting at. "Huh? What do you mean by that?"
Without missing a beat, Tanaka, ever the blunt one, blurted out, "They fucked."
The gym went dead silent for a split second before erupting into a cacophony of gasps, laughter, and shocked exclamations.
"Tanaka!" Daichi shouted, horrified but clearly trying not to laugh. "You can’t just say that!"
"Too much information!" Oikawa groaned dramatically, covering his ears. "My pure eyes and ears can’t handle this!"
Bokuto was doubled over, laughing so hard he was practically crying. "Oh my god, I can’t breathe!"
Kageyama’s face turned red, more from frustration than embarrassment. "Shut up, Tanaka-san!" he growled, but the damage was already done.
Tsukishima, looking both annoyed and amused, quickly clamped a hand over Kageyama’s mouth before he could say anything else. "Enough," he said, shooting a glare at the rest of the group. "Our private life isn’t up for discussion."
But Kageyama, even with Tsukishima’s hand on his mouth, mumbled something that sounded suspiciously like "It’s not that of a big deal."
Tsukishima rolled his eyes, clearly exasperated, but there was a hint of a smile tugging at his lips. "You really don’t know when to shut up, do you?"
Kageyama simply shrugged, looking far too pleased with himself, even as he was pinned by Tsukishima’s hand.
Hinata, still wide-eyed, turned to Yamaguchi with a confused look. "Wait, so they’re… that close?"
Yamaguchi chuckled, patting Hinata on the back. "Yeah, Hinata. They’re really that close."
"Alright, alright, enough," Sugawara called out, trying to save what little innocence was left among them. "Let’s change the subject before this gets even more out of hand."
"Oh my god! So Tobio-chan's not so innocent anymore" Oikawa shouted upon realization that was followed by another hilarious laugh from everyone
Kageyama, still sitting comfortably in Tsukishima’s lap, suddenly turned his gaze to Oikawa, who had just been making the most dramatic reactions all night.
"What are you all reacting so surprised for, Oikawa-san?" he asked, his voice innocent but cutting through the noise like a knife.
"Didn’t you and Iwaizumi-san used to make out in the locker room back in Kitagawa?"
The entire gym fell silent and Oikawa’s face turned a brilliant shade of red as the attention was transferred to him, his jaw dropping as everyone turned to look at him and Iwaizumi.
"W-What are you talking about, Tobio-chan?!" Oikawa stammered, trying to laugh it off, but Iwaizumi’s ears were turning red as well.
But Kageyama wasn’t done. "And Suga-san, Daichi-san," he continued, turning his gaze to the Karasuno third-years, who had been desperately trying to calm everyone down.
"You two are dating, so why are you acting like this is a big deal?"
"Bokuto-san and Akaashi-san, Kuroo-san and Kenma-san too. Aren’t you all dating? That means you’ve probably done it already."
At this, the entire room exploded into shocked gasps and laughter. The couples in question were now caught in the spotlight, their faces various shades of red.
"Bokuto-san! Akaashi-san! Is it true?!" Hinata asked, eyes wide surprised that his mentor is dating.
"Oi, Kageyama! What the hell are you saying?!" Daichi shouted, his face as red as a tomato.
Kuroo just laughed, throwing an arm around Kenma’s shoulders. "Well, well, well, looks like the baby crow has been paying attention."
Kageyama shrugged nonchalantly, as if he hadn’t just exposed half the gym. "I’ve seen you all in compromising positions. You’re not as sneaky as you think."
Akaashi looked mortified, while Bokuto was laughing too hard to defend himself. Kenma was hiding his face in Kuroo’s shoulder, while Suga and Daichi were trying to explain themselves to an increasingly curious Hinata.
But then, Tsukishima—who had been trying to stop Kageyama from oversharing—finally facepalmed, realizing there was no saving this situation.
"Tobio," he said, his tone exasperated. "Why don’t you just stop talking?"
Kageyama turned to him, blinking innocently. "What? It’s true. I saw all those files on your laptop, Kei. You had this folder labeled ‘BM Materials.’"
The entire gym went dead silent again for the nth time!
Everyone turned to Tsukishima, with hawk eyes.
"BM... materials?" Bokuto echoed, his eyes wide with interest. "Tsukki! what’s in that folder?"
Tsukishima’s eyes were wide, his face completely flushed now. "You absolute idiot," he hissed at Kageyama. "Why would you—"
But it was too late. The room erupted into chaos again, everyone demanding to know what was inside that mysterious folder.
"Oi, Tsukki! What kind of blackmail material are you collecting, you got dirt on everyone or what?" Nishinoya shouted, laughing so hard he had to hold onto Tanaka for support.
Tsukishima looked ready to strangle someone—preferably Kageyama—but before he could respond, Kageyama perked up, as if remembering something important.
"Oh yeah!" Kageyama suddenly exclaimed, turning to Nishinoya with that same innocent but blunt expression. "You and Asahi-san are in there too. Not sure but are you guys like dating dating or slight dating?"
Another round of stunned silence filled the room. All eyes whipped to Nishinoya, who looked like he’d just been caught red-handed. Asahi, on the other hand, froze, his eyes wide with sheer panic.
"W-WHAT?!" Nishinoya shrieked, looking between Kageyama and Tsukishima like a deer caught in headlights. "What do you mean we’re in there?!"
Asahi’s face was beet red as he stammered, "I-I don’t know what he’s talking about, I swear!"
But Kageyama replied, "I saw some videos of you two... getting cozy during one training," he said, oblivious to the chaos he was about to unleash. "Kei had them saved in that folder."
The gym erupted into another pandemonium.
"You have videos too?!" Oikawa gasped, clearly delighted by this new bit of drama.
"Oi, Tsukishima, what kind of creep stash are you running?!" Lev howled, clutching his stomach from laughing so hard.
Tsukishima, now bright red with fury and embarrassment, grabbed Kageyama by the collar.
"You idiot," he hissed through gritted teeth. "Stop saying things that get me in trouble!"
Bokuto was on the floor, tears streaming down his face as he laughed uncontrollably. "Oh my god, this just keeps getting better!"
Meanwhile, Daichi and Suga tried—and failed—to contain their laughter.
"Looks like you’re not that sneaky huh," Daichi teased looking at their genmate Asahi
"Asahi, I didn’t know you had it in you," Suga added with a wink, making Asahi want to disappear into the floor.
Tsukishima finally managed to get a grip on Kageyama, covering his mouth once more, "You seriously need to learn when to shut up," he growled, glaring down at his boyfriend.
"What? They were gonna find out eventually," he mumbled into Tsukishima’s hand, eyes still gleaming with mischief.
The rest of the night was filled with even more laughter, teasing, and a chaotic game of "Who else is in Tsukishima’s folder?"
Tanaka, always eager to join in on the fun, shouted, "Oi, Kageyama! What else is in that folder, huh? Got anything on me?"
Kageyama looked over at Tanaka with a blank but honest expression.
"Oh yeah, you have a bunch of meme photos in there. It was hilarious."
Everyone turned to look at Tanaka, who instantly turned pale. "W-What kind of memes?!" he asked, a mix of horror and curiosity on his face.
Tsukishima’s smirk only grew wider. "Let’s just say they’re not exactly flattering, Tanaka-san," he drawled, clearly enjoying the panic spreading across Tanaka’s face.
The gym erupted in laughter as everyone imagined what kind of embarrassing photos Tsukishima had collected
Tanaka threw his hands up in defeat. "Damn it, Tsukishima! I knew you were up to no good!"
Kuroo leaned over to Tsukishima, clearly entertained. "You really are something else, Tsukkipoo. Blackmail material and memes?"
Tsukishima just shrugged, looking entirely too pleased with himself. "It’s not my fault you’re all so easy to catch in compromising positions."
Hinata, still trying to wrap his head around everything, asked, "Wait, so Tsukishima’s just been… collecting dirt stuff on all of us this whole time?"
Yamaguchi sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah, pretty much. He’s had that folder for a long time."
Oikawa, who had finally recovered from his own exposure, couldn’t help but laugh. "Well well well, didn't know that Glasses-kun had that kind of bad habit."
Tsukishima looked completely unbothered.
"If you don’t want to end up in my folder, don’t do anything stupid in front of my camera," he said smugly.
Kageyama, sensing the room was finally starting to calm down, turned to Tsukishima with a proud grin.
Tsukishima rolled his eyes but couldn’t hide the small smile tugging at his lips. "next time, keep your mouth shut, or I might just add you to the folder too."
"But Kei..." Kageyama started, his tone innocent yet laced with mischief,
"you already have mine, don’t you? You know…"
He leaned closer, his eyes gleaming as he looked up at Tsukishima.
"Isn’t it in the folder labeled ‘My One and Only King’? Or is it under the one called ‘Love of My Life’?"
Then again the gym exploded into laughter and whistles.
"What?! Tsukki you sap!" Bokuto howled, practically falling over as he clutched his stomach.
"Pfft! Hahaha, now they know how you're such a hopeless romantic Tsukki" Yamaguchi added
Oikawa looked like he’d just discovered a new continent. "Oh my god, Glasses-kun I never thought you'd be the type to use those labels."
Kenma, usually so quiet, was even smirking behind Kuroo’s shoulder. "Didn’t think you had it in you, Tsukki."
Tsukishima’s face turned a deep shade of red, his usual stoic mask slipping as he glared at Kageyama. "You—" he began, but was cut off by the relentless teasing from everyone around.
"Aww, Tsukki! ‘Love of My Life’? Seriously?" Tanaka teased, pretending to wipe a tear from his eye. "You’re such a softie!"
"Who knew our snarky salty Tsukishima had a warm, gooey center?" Nishinoya added, making everyone laugh even harder.
Hinata was practically bouncing with excitement. "Tsukishima, I can’t believe you’re such a sweetie! And you always act like you don’t care about anything!"
Tsukishima was trapped. His ears were red, his jaw clenched, but he couldn’t deny it because Kageyama had already spilled the beans.
All he could do was sigh dramatically and cover his eyes with his hand, trying to tune out the chorus of laughter.
Kageyama, grinning from ear to ear, leaned in even closer with smugness on his face. He can so definitely teased him like he always does to him.
Tsukishima finally dropped his hand, glaring down at Kageyama but with a hint of a smile he couldn’t quite hide.
"You’re lucky I like you," he muttered under his breath, although it was clearly loud enough for the others to hear.
"Awww, you hear that?" Bokuto teased. "Tsukki’s going soft on us!"
"Yeah, yeah, laugh it up," Tsukishima grumbled, wrapping an arm around Kageyama’s waist as if to say, *Mine.*
"At least I’m not the one with embarrassing photos floating around."
But the teasing didn’t stop. The gym was filled with whistles, jeers, and cheers for the newly exposed “soft” side of Tsukishima, all while Kageyama basked in the chaos he had caused.
"Hey, Kageyama, you sure know how to stir the pot. You better watch out of Tsukki."
"Nah, Kei loves me too much," he said confidently, clearly enjoying the spotlight.
Then, shifting his tone to something softer, he turned those big, pleading puppy eyes on Tsukishima—the ones he knew would always break through his boyfriend’s cold exterior.
"Even if you did, you wouldn’t do me bad, right… Bubs?"
The entire gym went silent for a split second, then erupted into chaos.
"Bubs?! Oh my god, that’s adorable!" Bokuto screamed, practically rolling on the floor with laughter.
"Awww, Tsukishima, you’re bubs is asking!" Kuroo teased, wiping a fake tear from his eye.
Tsukishima groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose as if he were contemplating all his life choices up to this point.
"I swear, Kageyama…," he muttered, but the way his hand tightened protectively around Kageyama’s waist gave him away.
"You’re too soft on him, Tsukki!" Nishinoya laughed. "How can you resist those puppy eyes?"
Tsukishima just sighed, his lips twitching like he was fighting off a smile. "Yeah, yeah, whatever," he grumbled, giving Kageyama a quick side-eye.
"Stop using those eyes on me in front of everyone, idiot."
Kageyama just smirked, clearly triumphant.
"Told you he loves me," he said to the room, earning another round of groans and laughter from their teammates.
