Chapter Text
When Andrew told you his ultimate fix for feeling overwhelmed and scared, you almost didn't believe it. But the conviction in his eyes and in his voice was enough to make you reconsider.
"It'll help," he insisted, eager as he led you by the hand through the halls. "I promise."
You found yourself in the graveyard outside the Manor. There was an open grave, freshly dug. Through Andrew's instructions, you climbed down inside it and lay at the bottom.
He was quick to hop in after you, instructing you to lay down beside him. "It's okay," he whispered. "Your problems can't reach you here. Not in the earth." He gestured to the sides of the grave, towering like walls around you. "Just close your eyes and....drift."
Andrew proceeded to take his own advice, his eyelids drooping closed as he breathed easy. You lay beside him and watched him breathe for what felt like hours on end. The way his chest rose and fell, rose and fell...it was calming in a way you weren't sure anything else had been.
You may have been laying in an open grave.
But you were with Andrew.
And that was all that mattered.
