Clark is finishing dinner when he hears a crash in the barn.
He rushes over and opens the door.
He stops and looks up.
There’s a giant hole in the ceiling.
“Uh…”
He looks down at the wreckage and sees a person… in a blue bat suit.
Weird…
“Um… hello? Are you ok?”
The person groans
“Here let me help you up.”
He takes the unknown person’s hand and pulls him up.
“Who are you… and what are you wearing?”
“Um…”
“Did you hit your head or something? You're looking at me like you’ve seen a ghost.”
“No… I’m just confused.”
“So a concussion?”
“No! Not like that…”
“Why did you fall through my barn ceiling?”
“Because I wanted to.”
Clark looks at him puzzled
“No! I obviously didn’t want to fall through a bunch of wood!”
“Ok… so why?”
“I got blasted with a beam when fighting the warper… I think he sent me here… wherever this is.”
“Who’s the Warper?”
“You know…the villain who can switch times.”
“People can do that?”
“Yeah?… who are you?”
“Clark Kent.”
He laughs “oh you're being serious?”
“Yes? Why wouldn’t I?”
“Because…” he looks around the barn.
“Shit… you're not lying are you.”
“I’m not… are you ok?”
“What… what year is it.”
“2012? Why?”
“20- 2012!” He stares at me.
“Yeah? What other time would it be.”
“2042…”
I laugh at him
“2042! You definitely have a concussion.”
“No… um.”
He looks around again and starts pacing.
“Hey, guy… are you doing ok? Can I call someone for you?”
“No no…”
“Um… what’s your name?”
He stops and looks at me dead in the eye.
“My name is Jonathan Kent. I’m your son from 2042.”
