In Mel Giedroyc’s dream, she’s just a little bit braver.
Everyone remembers the moment. It was during the Hide from Alex task. Mel had hidden herself behind some clothes in the wardrobe and when Alex found her, he accidentally touched her breasts. They’d both had an awkward laugh about it at the time.
During the recording, Alex was forced to relieve his embarrassment again. “Did. You. Accidentally. Feel. Mel’s. Boobs?” Greg had asked, patting Alex’s hand on each word for emphasis. “It was a drive-by,” Mel had joked. “I found you in two and a half minutes and then felt embarrassed for three days,” Alex had replied, blushing furiously.
“No stars for naughty boys,” Greg had said.

In her dream, Mel is sitting having a drink at the Taskmaster Experience when Alex pops up beside her. “Reminiscing about the good ol’ days?” Alex asks.
“I was thinking about hide-and-seek,” she replies. “Do you remember?”
“How could I forget?” Alex says, blushing to the tips of his ears. “I still can’t believe I did that.”
Mel looks down at her drink. “I wanted you to,” she says breathlessly.
“Pardon?” Alex says, even though he clearly heard her.
“I set it up.” Mel says calmly, suddenly finding the bravery she needs. “I was hoping you would grope me. Thought we might play seven minutes in heaven.”
If Alex had been red before, now he’s purple. “With m-me?” he stutters.
“Yes, with you, you silly man. You were quite cute, still young and scared of girls. Especially scared of me. I wanted to pull you into the closet by your tie and shove my tongue down your throat.”
Alex looks like he’s going fall off the barstool.
The crowd is dying down, in fact, it’s beginning to seem like Mel and Alex are the only people left. Mel gets up. She hasn’t said anything to Alex, but she knows he will know what to do. She walks through the eerily quiet rooms and finds the wardrobe. It’s exactly like last time. Mel positions herself inside and waits.
When Alex follows, it’s like all the time has fallen away. He reaches into the closet and feels both of her breasts, but slower this time, with a little more purpose. This is her chance, her moment to have a snog in the closet like a kid at their first boy-girl party. She grabs Alex’s tie and pulls him in easily. He shuts the door behind him and darkness envelops them. She grabs Alex by the shoulders and pushes him against the wall of the closet. Then she presses her lips to his.
The kiss is fevered; intense. She pushes against him with her whole body and touches him all over. Alex is shy but into it, feeling the shape of her breasts again, this time rubbing until her nipples poke out of the cloth. She opens the front of her jumpsuit, unhooks her bra, and lets Alex fall into her breasts, kissing and licking them, while Mel runs her hands through Alex’s hair. She pulls him back up to kiss her again and she can feel his hardness against her hip.
She undoes his belt and fly and reaches her hand in. Alex lets out a choked-out moan and Mel whispers, “Oh gang,” as she begins to stroke him in the tangle of jumpsuits in the cupboard. Alex slides a hand down the front of her jumpsuit to the Pennyfield area and uses his long fingers to get her going. Alex comes all over Mel’s hand, then with his last bit of strength gets Mel over the edge too. Mel wipes her hand on Alex’s tie and then she sees a flashing red zero.
“Time’s up,” Alex says. “Seven minutes in heaven.”
The beeping of the timer becomes the buzzing of her alarm and Mel awakens, sweaty and horny in the twisted sheets of her own bed.
