Chapter Text
SCP-8136-3
SCP-8136-3, referred to as “Armstrong”, is a humanoid measuring at approximately 2 meters, wearing what appears to be a modified spacesuit. The helmet area is clouded with what appears to be an opaque red gas. A faceplate in front of the helmet has a decal of a skull, similar to the other SCP-8136 incidents. SCP-8136-3’s right arm has been replaced with a mechanical prosthetic that is capable of great force, as demonstrated in previous skirmishes. The only visible portion of SCP-8136-3’s body is its left hand, which has been witnessed to fall off at times, and is capable of being reattached.
Interview
SCP-8136-3 was accompanied by SCP-8136-1 to facilitate communication.
Excerpt:
1: This is Armstrong! It’s our guitarist!
(3 nods in agreement, and waves at personnel)
P: Greetings. So, you are…an astronaut?
(3 shakes its head, gesturing to itself)
1: It says it’s a cosmonaut, actually.
P: You are referring to the term used by Russia for a person that travels into space.
(3 nods and flashes a thumbs-up)
1: Yeah, like from the USSR and stuff.
P: (pause) Are you aware that the USSR has not existed for over 30 years?
(3 gives another, slower nod)
P: Do you consider yourself to be a citizen of the USSR, or one of the countries that used to be part of it?
(3 shakes its head, waving both hands to cement its rejection)
P: Do you consider yourself American then? As the nation you are currently residing in?
(3 shrugs and twiddles one hand in an about gesture, then makes several other gestures, including waving its hands over its head)
1: Ummm how to say it? Basically it’s like, have you heard about people going to space, and like they say that when they see the earth from so far away, all that stuff about countries and politics seems really silly and insignificant? It’s like that.
P: So you claim no nationality?
(3 once again shrugs)
1: Hey is this really important? I thought you were gonna ask why its hand comes off or something.

SCP-8136-3 requested contact with the following SCPs:
SCP-053 (Young Girl) (REJECTED)
SCP-682 (Hard-to-Destroy Reptile) (REJECTED)
SCP-334 (Stellar Vulpine) (REJECTED)
SCP-134 (Star-eyed child) (GRANTED)
SCP-2295 (The Bear With a Heart of Patchwork) (GRANTED)
SCP-8668 (Legally Speaking, a Good Girl) (GRANTED)
Addendum 1: There was some initial confusion as SCP-8136-3, through SCP-8136-1, had difficulty describing which SCP it wanted to meet with, referring to it only as “The big lizard” and stating, “I want to pet it.”
Addendum 2: It appears SCP-8136-3 is mainly interested in interacting with SCPs resembling children or animals. Namely, it appears to want to play with them or pet them in the case of the animals, despite any warnings regarding said SCP’s danger. It shows no hostile intent towards any subjects. Granting permission to meet with SCP-053 is under review.
SCP-134 (Star-eyed child)
SCP-8136-3 met with SCP-134 in her room under supervision of Dr. —----. During initial visit, SCP-134 spent approximately ten minutes touching SCP-8136-3’s suit and helmet, seemingly fascinated. SCP-8136-3 did not appear distressed by this and sat still to allow her to do so. Communication between the two was limited, as SCP-8136-3 appears incapable or unwilling to speak verbally. SCP-8136-3 then began to imprint messages in braille for SCP-134 to read. The messages were later collected and read as follows.
HI I AM ARMSTRONG.
I AM A TOMBSONA.
A TOMBSONA IS LIKE A PERSON WITH A SPECIAL THING.
DO YOU LIKE MUSIC?
SCP-8136-3 then proceeded to play several songs for SCP-134 using an acoustic guitar it had brought with it. SCP-134 expressed delight at this, as well as interest in playing the instrument herself. SCP-8136-3 allowed this and did not seem distressed by her handling the instrument. Even when SCP-134 broke a string by mistake, SCP-8136-3 instead expressed concern over whether she had hurt herself. SCP-134 was unharmed by the incident.
SCP-2295 (The Bear With a Heart of Patchwork)
SCP-2295 immediately approached SCP-8136-3. Crawling into SCP-8136-3’s lap, it began to pat at its chest area. SCP-8136-3 lifted SCP-2295 up to allow it to pat at its upper chest and helmet. After some time, SCP-2295 then turned its head upwards up to look at SCP-8136-3’s face area. SCP-8136-3 in response shook its head, indicating some form of communication was happening between them.
SCP-2295 began to cry, as it has done in previous events when met with a “patient” it could not cure. Seeing this, SCP-8136-3 hugged SCP-2295 tight in both arms. SCP-8136-3 and SCP-2295 then spent the rest of the visit silently comforting each other.
SCP-8668 (Legally Speaking, a Good Girl) (GRANTED)
SCP-8136-3 entered SCP-8668’s enclosure and immediately began to pet and scratch at its body like one would do with a typical dog. SCP-8668’s mood markedly improved as it began to wag its tail and respond positively to the attention. SCP-8136-3 and SCP-8668 played several games together. Approximately 37 minutes into the visit, SCP-8136-3 picked SCP-8668 up in both arms and attempted to leave the enclosure, but was stopped by SCP personnel. SCP-8136-3 appeared disappointed upon being told it could not take SCP-8668 with it, but relented and put it down again. After another hug and additional petting, SCP-8136-3 left the enclosure at the request of personnel. For 15 minutes after it left, SCP-8668 was observed scratching at the door and whining. It later lay down on the floor, returning to its typical mood.
