Chapter Text
Baiser and everyone else of Enormeeta's ensemble of Dark/Evil Magical Girls were long gone, off to their homes, likely sleeping. Their base was however far from unoccupied, after all, this place was home of a certain Mascot with an Agenda of his own.
"You tapped into the Police's network again? Gigant?"
He asked the doll sized woman on its back, Sister Gigant, a trustworthy ally for his plans.
"No one is aware I was there, so no problems."
"So long it doesn't jeopardize thingsz it's fine. So, what got your attention there?"
"They were sending a notice to Tres Magia, a new stray Magical Girl appeared, you don't happen to know one Magia Smith, do you?"
The mascot stop its flying around the room, fiddling with all the controls of the many keyboards, levers, switches and buttons of the device running.
"No."
"She seems to be the Culprit of those mysterious dismantling of Criminal groups recently."
"Hmph. If all she is doing is beating down some riff raff, it isn't our concern."
"Last scene she did murder the last victims before the survivors surrendered to Police."
The mention of Death made it stop for a moment before resuming work.
"It might turn into trouble then. Better keep silly Utena aware of her existence."
Silence once more filled the room, only the incidental tapping of keyboard or operating those buttons and switches gave some noise to the barely lit room.
X-X-X-X
"First Enormeeta, then a trio of loose screws for brains Magical Girls, now a Rogue Serial Killer Vigilante Magical Girl.... Has the world gone Mad?"
Sulfur complains, working along the others from Tres Magia, they went around the city to try their luck, a few nights ago they even busted a Criminal ring or two to see if that baited Magia Smith to them, but a week of searching later, the trio had nothing.
"While the Victims of either getting beaten to near death or outright murdered are only criminals, she's a potential threat, so we have no choice but look for her."
Azur tries to keep her friend focused on the search. But once again it was in vain, whoever this crazy ass was, they either were hapzard with their bouts of activity, or the last incident was too high profile, either way, both presented the fact that it was likely any search wouldn't be likely to find that person.
"Should we call it a day? We tried every option we realistically could. Focusing too much on this unknown Magical Girl might leave us vulnerable to Enormeeta."
Magenta concluded that it was better to return their patrols to the usual routine, so the three went back to get some well earned rest at their homes.
X-X-X-X
Utena was back home, Vena told them a new Factionless Magical Girl has appeared recently around this area and was causing some less than desirable chaos, and suggested ir was better to keep a low profile for the time being, since this new unknown variable has shown to be willing to murder, they should let Tres Magia do the brunt of work for now.
So she was half distracted doing the last half of homework, the worry of a Homicidal Magical Girl spilling blood stuck to her head. She was going to be an Evil to oppose Tres Magia, but she wanted to keep it within reason. Shedding blood and taking Lives was a tad too excessive, and 100% unmagical Girl behavior to her standards.
'But Venalia-san is right. Tackling a foe willing to kill isn't something you can do half-assed. Though is Tres Magia even able to do it if they must?'
On her phone, a message from the mascot of Enormeeta, a reminder he was sending so none of the members got silly ideas. But to her, another direct message.
"Keep all Enormeeta activities for later, special Enforcement units are coming. Huh?"
The message had a link to a news channel stream. Clicking it, the smooth loading indicated this was a priority one. The female journalist was already hot on the wcene of one big commotion, in the center of the city, where big businesses and corporations had offices in the many available buildings, the scene was of one, housing the nowadays most infamous of the year, having nonstop issues of bad behavior to outright morally bankrupt actions they did to their employees they kept under contractor status despite those contracts housing clauses and restrictions more fitting of Employee rather than Independents
"We are in front of Company SNJ1's office building, at Kuromu Offices 2434 where we are witnessing the crime scene of yet another mysterious Magical Girl."
The feed from the News camera showed the cordoned off reception area, Police and Tres Magia both already at work, with Police CSI team avoiding the Petroleum black goop that painted or piled up in several surfaces of places of the space. Tres Magia collected a few samples, and were already focusing in analyzing the Magical wavelength.
"Police Chief, has there been any discoveries or theories on who's the culprit and or why they did this?"
The reporter extended her mic hand to the gruff looking Policeman in a stereotypical Detective Jacket, social shirt and pants, only the Insignia and official rank markings made it clear he was the head of this City's Police force.
"We are working on all possilities, however we are certain the attacker had a specific Target, as the CEO of SNJ1 wasn't found even as a corpse, but everyone else was only lightly injured at worst."
"So can we expect a Ransom demand?"
"Unlikely, interviews with Witnesses and employees all paint the man as so unlikeable that many joked among themselves that were he in the USA during that one speech of the elected president, no tangible loss of life would have happened as all shots would go his way."
"You expect to find him? Alive hopefully?"
The Police chief stayed silent at that question. Interviews were ended and officers escorted the Journalists out of the building, preparing to fully cordon off the entire structure. The stream cut to the Anchor, and so, Utena also turned it off.
"Hm? Venalia?"
Chat had a new message.
"Mr. Fakumi, while disgusting even for my willingness to work with such people, was a strong provider of invaluable resources for Maintaining Enormeeta's base, while I remain reticent on this, you and the rest of our group will do what Tres Magia has been doing lately and Patrol to find these Rogue Magical Girls."
"You never told us, me especially that we had a human backer."
"... It was more of a convenient agreement than an actual deal. His loss however will likely impact how well I can keep the base Facilities running long term, that's all there is. These ruffians stepped on our foot, make them pay."
'Now Enormeeta is going to do Yakiza style Vigilantism.... The hell?'
Finishing homework, Hiragi plopped onto her bed and called it a day.
