Work Text:
“I can’t believe it!” Fox shouted so loud the speaker in the comm screeched. “Whole-ass year? And you have not slipped once?”
Bly snorted and leaned back on his bed. “What can I say? I am a mysterious fellow.”
The eldest of the brothers moaned and combed his hair back with both his hands. “Motherfucker, you yap like there’s no tomorrow. I don’t think you’ve ever shut up since you learned how to talk.”
Cody chuckled lightly, causing Bly to kick him in the ribs. The two of them were temporarily stationed on Coruscant because their generals were sent on solo missions. They decided to spend their ‘free’ time together. Both needed company quite desperately, though neither of them knew it. The cat got out of the bag real quick, since Bly accidentally blasted a heartfelt voice message from Aayla at full volume. Cody, being the good little brother that he is, immediately informed the rest of their batch.
“I’m never telling you anything ever again, Codes!” Bly moaned with his face in his hands once Fox disconnected.
“Oh, you will. Who else will you talk to? Wolffe?”
His brother huffed and shook his head. He proceeded to grab his pad to pretend he was actually working. Cody watched him carefully. He moved to recline on the bed, nudging Bly in the hip with his big toe.
“Stop it! I’m mad at you, you moron.” His older brother stared daggers at him. “You touch me one more time and I’ll mop the floor with your face.” Cody smiled innocently and put his feet in Bly’s lap. “That’s it, bitch, you’re going down.”
The older Clone ended up pinned under his brother, throwing profanities and trying his best to bite his oppressor.
“You’re just jealous because you’re too uptight to get laid. The ladies run away screaming the second you look at them.”
“You know I’m doing it on purpose.” Cody messed up Bly’s hair leaning back on the cot and allowing him to sit up.
“Yes, Mister By The Rules would never participate in something as scandalous as premarital sexual activity.” The older clone straightened his blacks and sat on Cody’s pillow making sure to position himself right in the middle, making his brother groan.
“You’re disgusting.” He rolled his eyes. “And I never said I wasn’t interested in sex. It’s just… the ladies at the 79s are not exactly my type.”
“Sorry to break it to you, but we are not exactly in a position to be picky.” Bly moved to sit right next to his brother. “What is your type, anyway?”
Cody bit his lip and looked anywhere but at his brother.
“Oh my gosh…” Bly’s eyes went wide. “You’re gay, aren’t you?”
The silence was enough evidence that he was right. He immediately put his arm around Cody’s shoulder.
“Does anyone else know? Please don’t tell me I’m the only one who wasn’t aware of this…”
“You’re the only one that is and I would very much like it to stay that way.” The younger of the two snapped and hid his face in his hands. “You know how some people are. Especially the high-ranking nat-born officers.”
“Oh, Codes…” Bly forced his brother’s head onto his shoulder. “You can trust all of us. Did you actually think we would out you against your will?” He was met with more silence. “Of course not. We love you, we want what’s best for you.”
Cody nodded and sniffled. They stayed like that for some time.
“Cody?” Bly tapped his temple. His brother hummed quietly. “What are you looking for in men?”
“Bly, I… I don’t want to…” he said, sounding defeated. “I don’t have time for hookups. Nor do I want to put the effort into convincing someone to sleep with me.”
“Are you serious?” The older one snorted. “We’re tall, dark and handsome. That is the type. If you ask a random girl, or guy, on a street who they’re into, they will basically describe us. Give me a day and I’ll find you some pretty guy to…”
“I do not want casual sex. Stop forcing me into speed dating.”
Bly moved to face him. “You already have someone, don’t you?”
Cody rolled his eyes and shook his head.
“Or… You’ve got an eye on someone?” He narrowed his eyes and tried to pierce his younger brother with an intimidating look. “I can see it in your face, you’re in love. Tell me who it is, or I’ll beat the information out of you.”
“Like you mopped the floor with my face a moment ago?” Cody snapped at him moving away and crossing his arms on his chest like a child. “There is no way I’m telling you…”
Suddenly his comm chimed. The younger brother looked at the display before swearing under his breath and sprinting toward the mirror. He fixed his hair and threw on a regulation T-shirt.
“Back to front, Codes…” Bly smirked and watched his brother struggling and throwing more curses.
Once he was ready he accepted the call. Bly had not expected what he saw.
“General.” Cody nodded his head.
“Ah, commander.” Kenobi gave him a warm and inviting smile but soon his expression turned into a concerned one. “Did I wake you?”
The Clone once again tried to fix his hair. “No, sir! I was just… Reading! In my bed.”
“Oh,” The Jedi Master relaxed and chucked. “I am glad that you are not overworking yourself. You deserve a break, dear.”
Dear…
“Don’t worry general, I will be well-rested and ready for action when you go back.” Cody was smirking like a lovesick idiot. Bly was staring at this train wreck of a conversation. They talked about what they ate, the weather on Coruscant (Kenobi joked and described the weather on the ship and Cody laughed out loud at the driest joke in the history of the galaxy), Anakin and Ahsoka’s antics and Rex’s annoyance at the two.
“Ow, look at the time…” Kenobi exhaled and rubbed his eyes.
“You should get some eyedrops, sir.” Cody rolled his shoulders.
“I know, I know… You’ve said that a million times. You’re probably right. I feel like my eye is going to fall out…” He closed his right eye and winced. “Anyway, we are to enter Kadavo space in two hours.”
The commander smiled and saluted. “Get some sleep, sir. I’ll be here waiting for you to come back.”
They said quick goodbyes and disconnected. Once he was done, Cody hid his face in his hands.
“Bro…” Bly was too stunned to say anything else. He had to stand up and walk in a circle for a minute. His brother just stayed motionless on the bed. “Bro, of all people… why didn’t you tell me, the moment you found out about me and Aly? I was literally in your shoes and came out pretty much victorious!”
Cody pulled his hair and exhaled a shaky breath. “I cannot be victorious, Bly! He is a member of the High Jedi Council! He lives by their Code. He sticks to it to the letter. He’d never be able to give me what I want.”
Bly’s brows furrowed. He returned to the bed and rested his hand on his brother’s knee.
“Oh, Cody…” He petted the man’s shoulder with his other hand.
“I’ve learned to be satisfied with what I can have, Bly.” He sniffled and lay on his side. “I’m happy with the way things are.”
Bly made his way onto the bad trapping Cody and forcing him to look him in the eyes. “You sure as fuck don’t look happy, man. Believe it or not, from what I saw a second ago, I can guarantee that man is crazy about you…”
“No, stop it!” Cody closed his eyes, shaking his head. “Don’t give me false hope! I’ll get ideas and make a fool out of myself…”
Bly hugged his little brother to his chest and ran a soothing hand over his back. “Trust me I know how you feel. You are not alone…” He fell silent for a second. “You need to listen to our story… Mine and Aly’s…”
“This is the last thing I need right now…” Cody’s voice was muffled by Bly’s chest.
“No. You’ll listen to it now. As your older brother, I order you to listen!”
Cody groaned but didn’t protest any longer.
Bly got comfortable and started his tale…
It all started on the day we were all given orders that included the generals we would serve. Let me be honest with you; I was hyped. Ponds got Windu ? The Master of the Order? Fox was straight under the Chancellor? Don’t make that face, Codes; at that time it sounded cool. Wolffe got another High General, and so did Grey… You were so excited, you little sneaky shit. You hid in the corner, opened your letter out of order and started screaming ‘Kenobi! Kenobi! High General!’
When I saw the name. I think I actually said “Who the fuck is Knight Aayla Secura?” out loud. Did I? Well, that is embarrassing. Don’t tell her that. Please. Oh, Maker, if I could just go back and slap myself I would. I would beat myself up. If someone said things I said about her to me now? I’d kill them. I’d go fucking feral…
“I get it!” Cody scooted back, leaning his head against the wall. “You regret calling her ‘a random noname bitch’. Get on with it.”
Bly rolled his eyes, reached for Cody’s pillow, fluffed it and put it under his head.
“As you wish, you little heartless monster…”
Anyway. There I was, ready for the disappointment of a lifetime, serving under someone who is biologically barely older than me, but lo and behold, while all of you losers got stuck-up monks (maybe except for you and Rex…) I got a smokeshow of a woman. Slim, athletic, tall, with a pretty face, smart and a competent leader as well… Men, at that moment, I knew that I struck gold. Don’t make that face! You may not be attracted to women, but that doesn’t excuse you from listening to me rave about the love of my life! I promise, whenever you want someone to listen to you talking about how gorgeous Kenobi’s abs are, I’m all ears. Stop with all the blushing. I know you’ve seen them.
Back to the matter at hand. For the first couple of weeks, it was funny. Joking about how pretty she was to piss all of you off. But then, a couple of months in, it happened…
The blasted Quell System disaster. You know the drill by now, we all do. Heavily outnumbered, clankers boarding the ship, everything and everyone is on fire… The usual stuff. In my little sick head, I thought that at least I’d get to meet this kiddo Rex had been raving about. Also Skywalker. I didn’t know what to think about him, since you and Rex were basically describing two different people. And I personally think he’s cool, sorry Codes, he saved my life, he saved my girl’s life. I’ll kiss his ass till the day I die.
You know what happened, the ship blew up, the hyperdrive went crazy, so we bailed. We were speeding through space straight at a fucking star. ‘Great,’ I thought. ‘Of all the ways to go, the most painful one.’ I was a fool. Aayla would not let us die. She is too brave for that. We decided to restart the ship. While in hyperspace, mere seconds away from the star.
Once we did, the gravitation started pulling us toward the same gruesome death we were supposed to avoid. Aly had her hand on the lever, ready to restart. And then the handle Rex was holding onto broke, and that fat bitch knocked into her. I was sure we were goners. Like, it would be idiotic to have hope at that point. But my beloved girl would never let me down. She collected herself like the badass queen she is and pulled the lever with the Force. The power was back on, and Ahsoka could crash the ship safely on the closest planet.
Cody snorted. “What do you mean, ‘crash the ship safely’?”
Bly poked him in the chest.
“You sound like you’ve never flown with Skywalker or his spawn. I have never seen them land. They crash, but they do it with style.”
Cody shook his head. “You know, I’m beginning to understand why Obi-Wan hates flying. He must be traumatised from all these years with Anakin as his designated pilot…”
So there we were, on some backwater, strange planet, in the middle of nowhere with a dying Skywalker and a panicking teenager on our heads. It would break the strongest leaders, but not my girl. She stood tall and ordered us to leave to find help. She walked ahead of us, with the kid and the way she talked to her… with such compassion and understanding. It seemed that she volunteered to be the rock for Ahsoka in this shitty situation.
I may sound corny, but something bubbled in my chest. Some strange admiration. I pushed that shit down as soon as I realised what it was… I convinced myself she would be repulsed by those… feelings I was feeling then. So I kept on marching as I always did.
Then we reached the giant trees. We were supposed to find locals there, but they seemed deserted. I admit, I acted like an idiot and walked around without checking the perimeter. I heard a loud crack… Then a scream… And suddenly I was on the ground with Aayla on top of me. She eyed me with such concern for just a second. It was enough Codes. That second was enough. I was gone. I never wanted her to stop looking at me. People were running for their lives, avoiding giant fruit falling from the sky, but for me, it was only her. When she dragged me to safety, the charm was over. We were back to normal. Only it was anything but normal for me. I knew I would never look at her the same way.
We kept moving, even as our brothers were mulled by wildlife, she pushed on. There was this raw determination in her. I have never seen her like this. Sure, she was a brave woman, but then I saw her in a different light. The kid was on the verge of falling apart, so she put on a stone-cold demeanour. She seemed so sure of herself, but in that moment, when some cosmic nut almost turned me into a puree I had a peek behind the mask. She was scared, Cody. She was just as worried about Skywalker as Tano. And yet she was as strong as ever. Beautiful like a marble statue… And just as cold.
‘You fool…’ I thought to myself. She is a Jedi. She must be above those feelings. She would not break the Code for any random dude, let alone a Clone…’
Don’t look at me like that. We’ve all felt it at least once. At the end of the day, it’s what we are. Clones. It’s so fucking unfair, but you never know if the person you’re talking to respects you as a human being or is just cordial.
Back to the story.
So, Rex probably already told you. We met fucking pacifist monkeys. No, stop laughing. They were led by an old fart who would literally rather die than choose a side. Cody stop it, it wasn’t funny back then. I wanted to smash his head in. Aly asked him to help Skywalker and that senile motherfucker said ‘violence breeds violence’. Bitch, what violence? We crushed the ship. Our friend was half way to the other side of the rainbow and that motherfucker was trying to prove some idiotic point. Little Gods, I’m still getting pissed off when I think about that delusional moron. Violence breeds violence, my ass. I’d show him violence right then and there if…
“Bly!” Cody could barely catch his breath. “The man was just doing what he thought was right. You cannot beat someone up for their political views…”
“Cody, we were literally born to do that!” The older brother was gorging on Cody’s secret cookie stash he found under the pillow. “Stop interrupting!”
Well, after Ahsoka basically begged him to help Skywalker he finally sent someone to look at his injuries. Rex beat up some big vulture, he did not shut up about it for the rest of our stay. Seppies tried to kill us with a mass weapon of destruction… The usual Jedi shenanigans. The most important thing happened that first evening.
I found Aayla and the kid on the hill overlooking the village. It was Tano’s bedtime, so she left me alone with Aly.
“General…” I said. I tried so hard not to sound shy, but it came out small and broken anyway. She hummed without looking away from the sunset. I took that as a sign to go on. “How do you do it? How do you detach yourself? How do you stop hurting?”
She looked at me dumbfounded; I felt like an idiot for a second there.
“What do you mean, commander?” She asked and she tipped her head to the side, like she usually does when she’s confused. “Detach myself from what?”
I shrugged. When I thought about it, I didn’t really know myself.
“All of it, I suppose…” I said after a long while. “The suffering, the fear, the loss…”
She scooted a little closer to me. For a second I hoped she’d touch me, but I the hope down.
And then she put her hand on my shoulder and forced me to look at her.
“Commander. I am hardly a master of detachment. I must confess… I wasn’t really detached today. I’ve known Anakin for more than a decade and we’ve been close as padawan learners. He gave me quite a fright today.” She chuckled. There was this light in her eyes. I love her eyes, Cody. They are always so warm and full of light.
I figured I was staring, so I cleared my throat and looked at the grassy planes.
“I know, but… you seem unshaken by all of it. You make it look easy…”
She exhaled and laid back on the grass. “It is not, Bly. Sometimes I wish I could just talk to someone openly… Share my worries and my struggles.”
I smiled and settled down next to her. “We’re talking now, aren’t we?” She chuckled sweetly at that. “If you ever need someone to talk to, general, just say so. I’ll be there within half a standard hour, tea and cookies in hand.”
That was the first time I made her laugh. I made a promise that I’ll do that until the day we are separated one way or another. I told myself it would be enough.
“Oh, my goodness… Bly…” Cody groaned and rolled over to face the wall. “You cannot be more on the nose. For the love of everything that is holy, stop this sappy love story or I’m going to throw up…”
Bly groaned and smacked the back of Cody’s head. He looked at the ceiling and let out a shaky breath.
“I meant what I said, Cody. I’ve been there. I was ready to carry that shit to my grave. I had thought being her friend was the best thing my artificially crafted life had to offer.”
Bly fiddled with the corner of Cody’s blanket, he clearly needed to collect his thoughts before continuing his tale.
So time passed. I kept this secret so well. At least I thought so. The bubble burst during the invasion of Geonosis. While you were storming the factory, we were a part of the siege on the capital. Me, Aly and two others were supposed to sneak into the city through one of those crazy tunnels. Numero had them memorised. Numero was ripped to shreds by the bugs. League had backup batteries for our flashlights. League fell into some hole.
There we were. Lost. No food. No idea where to go. Lights dying. I really thought that was it. Despite all this, when I looked at her, I couldn’t help but be happy to die by her side. I didn’t even think before I said something unbelievably stupid.
“I’m happy to die by your side, Aayla.” She stopped in front of me and looked me up and down.
“What did you say, commander?” She whispered so softly my helmet barely picked it up.
I took it off and took one step in her direction. I looked down at my boots and repeated.
“I said that I’m happy to die by your side.” And after that, I just started bubbling away. “I mean, you’re a Jedi, I know you’re above those sorts of feelings, but other than my brothers, you are the only friend I’ve ever had. I am honoured to have met you. To have gotten to know you. You have been the highlight of my shitty life.”
She just stared at me so the words kept going.
“You are a great woman. Serving with you has been an honour. Believe me, you are by far the best general I could’ve served under. I was born to kill and die, but you showed me I could be so much more…”
Then I felt a hand on my cheek.
“I am happy that you are with me now too…” She said and I dared to look in her eyes. I saw the same look I did on that stupid monkey planet.
I got really brave back then.
“It’s good that we can die as good friends. ‘Having an actual friend outside my batch’ has been on my bucket list for years now.”
She snorted letting her hand fall to her side. On its way down it brushed my fingers.
“Yes. Friends…” She exhaled.
I was just about to ask her what was that supposed to mean, when we saw something light up behind the corner, and then we heard two bugs talking…
Cody groaned and pushed his face into the pillow. “Bly, what the fuck? Why do you do that to me?”
The older brother chuckled from the other side of the room, where he was preparing two teas.
“Oh, sorry, is someone hooked?” Bly grabbed the cups and carried them to the nightstand. “I never took you for a romantic, Codes…”
Cody grabbed his tea and blew on it before taking a small sip. Bly mimicked his brother and he was shocked by the symphony of flavours. He smelled the drink and took another sip.
“That’s not the tea we get in our rations…” he murmured. “Where did you get that?”
Cody smiled and blushed ever so slightly. “It’s Obi-Wan’s favourite. He gave me some for my decantation day…”
Bly placed his cup on the nightstand. He exhaled and paced around the room for a couple of seconds.
“He loves you, Cody. Whether he knows it or not, he is head over heels in love with you.”
His brother raised his eyebrow. “We aren’t talking about me and Obi-Wan. You were in the middle of getting to the point finally telling me how you and Aayla got together.”
Okay, okay! I’m almost there! Little Gods, you are the most impatient piece of shit I’ve ever met. So as you might guess (based on the fact that I am now talking to you, telling you this amazing story) we did not die. We killed the bugs and made our way into the city. All’s well that ends well.
Since that… conversation in the tunnels, there was some unspoken tension between us. We avoided each other in the hallways. We made an effort to eat separately. Worst of all, she stopped laughing at my jokes. You know how I am with my jokes. Although this time I was not offended, I was worried. It was silly, but I felt like she really needed those laughs I gave her. But, I figured I had overstepped my boundaries in that tunnel, so I stepped back. Avoided her gaze. Left a comically large space between us when walking next to her. Giving simple answers. ‘Yes, ma’am’, ‘No ma’am’.
Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. Almost a full year ago we were supposed to convince some backwater system not to join the seppies. Like, you’ve done that a million times. I knew Aly hated those. She feels like a fish out of water between those politicians. I volunteered to accompany her. Even if I messed up our friendship, I still wanted to support her.
The floating piece of ice had one of the hardest weather conditions I’ve ever seen. Now, I don’t mind rain and humidity, but a temperature below freezing is where I draw the line. Ryloth is a desert planet, so Aly’s body is not used to keeping warm either. We were speeding through the snowstorm with barely any visibility. I don’t think you’ll be surprised when I tell you we fucking crashed within two hours. We’ve gotten out pretty much fine, but the ship was trashed. We were alone in the middle of a blizzard: no food, no water, no nothing. Fortunately, Aly brought some actual clothes with her. All we could do was find shelter and hope that someone would find us.
About five hundred clicks from the crash site we found a cave. We thought we had won the fucking lottery, it was filled with beautiful crystals giving off a warm, soft, orange light. She looked so ethereal, Cody. Had I not been in love already, I’d be then. I will cherish this memory till my dying breath, despite what happened next.
What happened next, you ask? It turned out we were trespassing on the property of a giant bear with seven little ones. Ayla was dodging her claws and teeth as best as she could, but the beast managed to nick her arm. I knew I needed to draw her attention so my beautiful general could escape. So I set my blaster to kill and shot the ice picks above the bear. She was pissed about it, she was out. She laid down and gave this weird roar. It was like pleading for help. Suddenly I felt something biting my right knee. I fell down and felt the same on my left shoulder. The cubs started pulling like they wanted to rip me apart. No, they were definitely trying to do that. I was okay with it. It was a good death. Protecting the love of my life. I just managed to make peace with it when the two monsters were thrown in the air and smashed against the wall. Several icepicks encircled them creating a sort of makeshift cage. My eyes were blurry and my ears were ringing but I knew Ayla was screaming my name and rushing to my side. She was saying something. I don’t know what. She ripped my helmet off and placed her hand on my head. I saw black.
When I came to, we were in a cave. A different one. It was much less welcoming and a lot smaller. Barely big enough for both of us to fit. There was a little fire between us. I was confused, there wasn’t a single piece of wood on this planet. Then I noticed she was missing her gloves and scarf. She was warming her bare feet in front of the fire. I tried to sit up, but the pain was unbearable. I saw my wounds were bandaged, but the blood managed to sink through the dressings.
She noticed me and crawled over.
“Don’t move, Bly.” She whispered and gently pushed me back down onto the ground. I noticed I was also placed on her jacket. “You need to rest.”
I was too tired to think of regulations and chain of command.
“What the fuck were you thinking, Aayla?” My voice was raspy. “The protocol clearly states that in situations like this, you are to leave me and save yourself.”
She was silent, just looking at me weirdly. I continued.
“And wasting medical supplies on me. Also, burning your clothes? That’s straight-up insane! My sole purpose is to die for you. Do you realise what it will do to me if you die of exposure? Take my shoes!”
She shook her head. “I can’t do that! I can keep my feet warm with the force. Your circulation is weak as is. I don’t want you to lose your toes, or worse, legs…”
“If I do lose them,” I growled, “there will be a replacement the day you get back from the infirmary. I am expendable. You are…”
What happened next shocked me. She leaned in and kissed me. So softly.
“You are not. You’re precious,” she muttered and immediately jumped away. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have. I’m your commanding officer. I don’t want you to feel forced.”
“I didn’t feel that.” I blurted out quickly. “You just made a dying man’s wish come true. Now take my shoes, gloves…”
She dove back in and kissed me again. This time with more passion. I’m a weak man, so I pulled her closer until she was on the jacked next to me.
When we pulled away for air I felt tears threatening to spill. “I love you, General Secura. So please, take my clothes and go save yourself.”
She laughed sweetly, as she usually did. “I love you too, Bly.” She ran her hand through my hair and wiped my cheeks with the other one. “But stop with the jokes, they are not funny.”
“For once in my life, I’m not joking.”
She lifted herself on her elbow and kissed my temple. “If we go, we go together, commander. That’s an order.”
A whimper rang through the room.
Bly looked at Cody.
“Are you crying?”
The younger brother turned toward the wall. “Just finish that dumb story!”
Bly laughed out loud and patted Cody’s back.
“You know we survived! I’m talking to you right now, you idiot!” Bly shook his head but complied.
She hugged me and suddenly I felt such pleasant warmth.
“Are you doing some weird Force trick to keep us warm?” I asked, but I felt sleep pulling me under.
“I am… Be quiet.” She murmured and slipped off herself. I followed her, and I knew I would keep following her till the day I die.
The next time I woke, I was covered by animal skins, and my wounds felt better, but I smelled some disgusting herbs. When I looked around I saw Aly on a chair beside me. She smiled, moving to sit on the bed.
“I was beginning to worry.” She grabbed my hand. I was in heaven, but I slipped my hand away.
“What if someone sees this?” I whispered looking around, panicked.
“Don’t fret.” She moved to pet my cheek. “The locals decided to join the republic and promised to never mention the… circumstances in which they found us.” She gave me a wicked smile. “Did you know, that the species native to this cursed planet is physically unable to lie?”
I eyed her. She had the most wicked smirk painted on her face.
“If we are ever found out,” I said slowly, allowing her to crawl into the bed with me, “there will be dire consequences for the both of us.”
She glued herself to my side and rested her head on my shoulder.
“I’m aware.” She snuggled impossibly closer. “And I choose to let go of that fear. The Code demands that of us.”
I snorted and placed a kiss on her forehead.
They were silent for a moment.
“What? That’s it?” Cody sat up and looked at Bly shocked. “You two just… Got together?”
“Well, what else do you want to hear? A detailed account of how she popped my cherry that night?”
Here you go, babe. Our kisses became more and more heated, and I realised I was stripped down to my underwear. She reached under…
Cody groaned, throwing a little pillow at Bly’s head. “You are so disgusting…”
Bly’s comm chimed. It was his twin. He answered and placed the com on his chest.
“What’s up Wolffie?” He put his hands behind his head.
“Listen up, both you and your seventeen chins, you fattie…” He growled in a manner that would make his namesake proud. “I didn’t spend nine months in the same tube as you, for you to keep your relationship from me, hear me?”
Bly chuckled. “Stop right there. I got something better.”
Cody whipped his head towards his brother. ‘Don’t you dare’, he mouthed.
Bly made a perfect imitation of a train horn sound.
“Welcome on the Kaminoan Gossip Train! Next stop, Cody has a crush on his general!”
