Kyoujurou frowns as a sharp pain hits him in his abdomen. He stumbles and thankfully Tanjiro catches him before he hits the ground. Hell, not now kid.
“Mama?”
He nods and takes a shaky breath. “I’m okay bud.”
He takes another step and another sharp pain hits. He screams.
“Mama!!”
Okay, looks like his child has decided that yes, now is the time they want to come.
He takes another shaky breath. “Tanjiro, we aren’t gonna make it home. We need to find.” He groans as another contraction hits. Shit, even as a demon labor hurts like hell. “Shelter.” He takes another breath.
“Sure Mama.”
He lowers himself to the ground and leans up against a tree.
“Nezuko will sit with me. Remember the rules.”
Tanjiro nods. “Abandoned places only, avoid humans at all costs and trust no one, not even another demon.”
Kyoujurou nods. “Be quick, I don’t think this kid is gonna be very patient.”
Tanjiro nods again. “Yes Mama.”
Another contraction. He groans and Nezuko just cuddles into his side.
After what feels like hours Tanjiro comes running back and helps him to his feet. He leans against the pup as he guides him to the little cave he found. He already had a little fire going.
Tanjiro helps him sit down. Taking off both of their Haori’s to put behind his back.
“Want me to fetch Papa?”
He shakes his head. “There’s no time, this baby is coming now, and there’s no guarantee he’s home yet.” He groans as another contraction hits. “Help me get my uniform off.”
Tanjiro nods and Nezuko comes over to help.
He inhales as the cold air hits his swollen breasts and belly. Tanjiro helps him adjust so that his uniform is being used so that the baby isn’t born on the ground and Nezuko puts her Haroi over him to give him some sort of cover.
She licks her lips at the sight of something. He furrows his brows and looks down to see that his breast is leaking.
He chuckles. “Go for it baby.”
She smiles and quickly latches. Not sure what it’ll do for her, but whatever. She moans, actually moans.
He never wants to hear that sound out of her ever again.
Another contraction hits and he arches his back and spreads his legs on instinct.
Satisfied Nezuko releases and then curls into his side. She yawns and closes her eyes.
Her little snores filling the cave.
He groans as another contraction hits and he feels liquid between his legs. Well, there goes his water.
“Mama.”
Kyoujurou looks up at his oldest pup and there’s a look of horror on his face. He’s staring at the cave entrance.
“What bud?”
He screams as another contraction hits.
“Well, well, well boys, what do we have here?”
He looks up at the voice.
Shit. How in the hell did he miss three Alphas approaching them?
“Looks to me like a helpless pretty Omega and two useless pups.” He looks down at Kyoujurou’s stomach. “Well, three.”
He growls. Tanjiro hisses.
They don’t falter and continue to approach.
He whimpers.
“Tanjiro.” He whispers. “No matter what…”
“We don’t kill humans.” Tanjiro finishes.
He nods. “Good boy.”
He feels his baby begin to crown and he screams.
“Jud, I don’t give a shit about the pups.”
One of them nods, removes Nezuko from his side and takes ahold of Tanjiro. He takes them to the other side of the cave. Tanjiro hisses again but just goes with them. Taking Nezuko in his arms, she’s still passed out.
Kyoujurou growls again and then groans as his baby slips further from his body.
The Alpha who’s clearly in charge laughs. “What are you gonna do about it Omega? You’re in no position to do anything. As soon as this pup is out its gonna go in the corner to die with the others and then you my pretty little Omega are gonna come with me.”
He whimpers as the guy pets him. He screams as another contraction hits and he can’t help it, he pushes.
The Alpha removes Nezuko’s Haroi and looks between his legs.
He growls, but it’s weak and has no power behind it.
The Alpha looks back up at him and smiles. “Come on beautiful, you can do it.” He places his hand on Kyoujurou’s belly and before he knows what’s happening, he’s pushing down.
Kyoujurou screams.
The guy tsks. “Boo, I thought that would work. Oh well.” His hand goes between his legs and then his baby is being pulled from him.
He screams.
He feels the moment hid baby is out. The guy lifts his baby up and Kyoujurou reaches out to her.
A girl.
The guy pulls her out of his reach and hands her over to the guy named Jud, who throws her to Tanjiro.
He freaking threw his baby.
Good thing Tanjiro is fast. The Alpha shoved Tanjiro back into the corner and Tanjiro clutched his sister"s to his chest.
His baby is screaming. Her cord is still hanging off her and the other half is still hanging out of him. The guy pulls it out the rest of the way.
He whimpers.
“Up.” The guy orders and he shakes his head.
The Alpha rolls his eyes. “Jud.”
Jud, pulls out a knife and holds it to his newborn’s abdomen.
“ Up, now .” The Alpha commands.
He nods and sits up shakily. He grabs a Haroi and covers up. Then the Alpha helps him to his feet.
He growls.
The guy tsks. “Shut the hell up and move your ass.”
“Mama.” Tanjiro whines. His baby is still crying.
“It’s okay bud, I’m okay.”
He’s shoved. “Just move!”
“Get your filthy ass hands off my mate and away from my pups.”
Kyoujurou looks up and smiles. Akaza.
The guy in charge scoffs. “Oh yeah, and what the hell is your scrawny ass gonna do? Cause to me it looks like three against one.”
Akaza smirks and Kyoujurou just sighs.
“Tanjiro.”
“I know.”
He closes his eyes and drops to the floor as his mate moves lightning fast and kills the Alphas one by one.
He feels hands on his back. “Kyoujurou, babe, it’s okay, it’s all over.”
He opens his eyes and sits up.
“You okay, you hurt?”
He shakes his head. “Pup.”
Akaza nods and goes to get their newborn from Tanjiro’s arms and wraps her in Nezuko’s Haori and puts her in his arms. He helps her latch.
“Now.” Akaza smacks the back of his head. “What the hell is wrong with you two!?”
He sighs. He knew this was coming.
“You are demons! Why the hell didn’t you take them out yourself!?”
Kyoujurou opens his mouth to reply but Akaza glares at him and he quickly shuts it. He obviously knew what Kyoujurou was about to say.
“I don’t give a shit about your morals Kyoujurou. Your lives are more important.”
“Papa.”
Akaza ignores him.
“I love you and if you want to eat animals or whatever, fine.”
“Papa.”
Tanjiro goes ignored once more.
“But the moment your lives are on the line you better squash those stupid morals.”
“Papa!”
“WHAT!” Akaza rounds on Tanjiro and he whimpers but points at something behind Kyoujurou.
Akaza and Kyoujurou turn to see the sun rising.
“Shit.” Akaza helps Kyoujurou to his feet and they push as far back into the cave as they possibly can.
Akaza helps Kyoujurou settle on the ground as their newborn eats. He covers them up with Kyoujurou’s Haroi.
Akaza sighs. “I love you, all four of you. I just don’t want to see you die over your stupid morals.”
Kyoujurou frowns and nods.
“He pulled her out.”
Akaza sighs. “She looks fine. Let her eat and I can look her over just to be sure.” He leans down to kiss the top of her head and then Kyoujurou. “Just promise me that you’ll think about it Kyoujurou. I can’t lose my family. You four are all I have.”
Kyoujurou is very aware that Akaza defected for them. After he changed them ten months ago, he left Muzans ranks and they’ve been on the run since.
Something in the corner catches Akazas eye and he chuckles.
Kyoujurou looks over to see Tanjiro and Nezuko wrapped around each other, passed out.
Kyoujurou smiles.
“That sleeping thing of theirs still amazes me after all this time.”
Kyoujurou nods.
Akaza gets up and grabs one of the bodies and drags it towards Kyoujurou.
“You should eat babe. Labor and everything really took it out of you.”
Kyoujurou frowns. “I can’t.” Unfortunately his mouth begins to water.
Akaza sighs. “It’s okay. Close your eyes.”
He whimpers. He looks up at Akaza and pouts. “Please.” He begs. “Don’t make me do this.”
Akaza smiles and takes his hand and rubs Kyoujurou’s cheek. He leans into his mate’s touch. Akaza leans down and kisses him. “Trust me baby. Close your eyes.”
He sniffles but nods. He closes his eyes.
“Give Papa his new baby.”
His eyes shoot open.
Akaza rolls his eyes. “She’s safe baby, I promise.”
He nods and hands his mate the newborn.
He sighs and closes his eyes again.
“Open your mouth for me baby.”
He sighs, but obeys.
Something thick and wet hits his tongue. Something that tastes metallic.
Blood.
His inner demon moans.
Akaza chuckles.
“Tastes so good, doesn’t it? This shit face threatened your pup’s baby.”
Kyoujurou growls.
“That’s it baby, get angry.”
His eyes shoot open and his fangs descend.
Akakza groans. “You’re sexy when you’re angry baby.”
He looks at his mate. He’s cleaning off their daughter and she’s whimpering, clearly uncomfortable with the cold air on her newborn skin.
Akaza looks up at him. “Eat.” He orders.
He obeys.
He moans at the taste, he was starving. It’s been hours since they hunted and he was supposed to be in their little cabin to give birth not stuck in a cave with the sun rising, and Alphas threatening their family.
This man was gonna kill his pups, so he’s gonna devour him like the piece of shit he is.
He cries as he eats, never wanting to do this, but technically Akaza killed him so it’s kind of a loop hole, right?
Right?
When he’s full he wipes his mouth and licks his lips.
“Come here baby.”
He goes to his mate and lays beside him. Akaza tucks the newborn between them. “Get some rest. As soon as the sun is down, we’ll go home.”
He whimpers. “Pup.”
Akaza runs his hands through his hair. “She’s uninjured. You did good Omega, she’s perfect.” Akaza leans down to kiss him and then their daughter. “So, what’s her name?”
Kyoujurou smiles. “After what she went through today….Kyoko.”
Akaza smiles. “Perfect. Our strong little fighter.” He leans down to kiss the top of her head again.
