A yellow circle that appeared out of thin air began to glow as it transformed into a portal. Rudy came out of the portal and began to look around. Then he noticed someone. “Hey, Snap!” Rudy shouted. “Oh, Hiya, Rudy! Wanna see something I’m checking out?” Snap asked. “Sure!” Rudy said. The two went to a cliff with a giant maze beneath it. “Check out that maze! It got erased here this morning!” Snap said. “Interesting. I’m on the lookout for a recently erased object too.” Rudy said. “Oh, what is it?” Snap asked. “It’s a thing called the Prism Sword, it’s from a fantasy book. I saw a girl who liked the book draw the sword and erase it, so I’m trying to find it before it causes too much trouble.” Rudy explained. “What does the sword do, exactly?” Snap asked.
“Well, it splits whoever gets attacked by it into 5 pieces. Pieces are entities that each represent a different aspect of the person’s personality, and when a piece is hit by the blade it gets absorbed into the sword. When all 5 pieces are absorbed, the person comes back to normal. The girl told me about it when I asked what she was drawing.” Rudy explained. “Hopefully I don’t get hit by that thing. What if one piece represents a trait I don’t want people to see?” Snap said. “What traits would you not want people to see?” Rudy asked. Snap didn’t answer. “Hey, guys!” The two heard Blocky’s voice say. They turned around to see him waving around the Prism Sword. Due to Blocky having short arms, carrying the sword around was hard. “That’s the Prism Sword!” Rudy said. Blocky walked up to Snap. “Look, I have a sword!” He said.
“That’s great, blocko, but can you hand it to— RUDY!” Snap began to say before Blocky accidentally hit him with the sword. He began to glow as he tumbled backwards, falling into the maze below. “Give me that!” Rudy said as he grabbed the Prism Sword out of Blocky’s hand. “Sorry.” Blocky said as Rudy jumped down into the maze with his sword in hand. He landed in the maze and began to look around. “Snap!” Rudy said as he wandered the maze in search of his friend. “Hello there, Rudy!” A voice said. Rudy turned around to see Snap, but he didn’t look right. He was silver instead of blue, and his eyes were shaped like shields. “Snap, is that you?” Rudy asked. “Yes… and no. As you mentioned earlier, the Prism Sword split me into 5. I am specifically Snap’s desire to help people. You may call me Chivalry.” The silver Snap said as he bowed.
“Nice to meet you, Chivalry. Do you know where the other pieces of Snap are?” Rudy asked as he gave Chivalry the Prism Sword. “Wherever they are, they are somewhere in this maze.” Chivalry said as he and Rudy began to look for the other pieces. “So, do you know what the other pieces are like?” Rudy asked. “I do know what they’re like, I just don’t know their location.” Chivalry said. “That’s a nice sword you got there.” The two heard a voice that sounded like Snap say. They watched as a red Snap with fire-shaped eyes approached them. “Hello, Super.” Chivalry said. “What’s up! I am Super, Snap’s awesomeness!” The red Snap said. “Pleasure to be meeting you, Super, but we need to absorb you into the Prism Sword in order to return to normal.” Chivalry said.
“Snap’s a superhero. You represent the ‘super’ part, while Chivalry represents the ‘hero’ part.” Rudy said. “You got that right, bucko! Me and Chivalry were traits that were with Snap since he was erased, but the remaining three represent traits he got as time went on. Now, let me strike a pose before I get absorbed.” Super said. He posed, and Chivalry slashed him. The red piece vanished in a puff of smoke, and a red line appeared on the sword. “Three more to go.” Chivalry said as he and Rudy continued their search. They eventually saw a green Snap sulking in the corner. “Hey there, Snap!” Rudy said. The green Snap got up and turned to face Rudy, revealing his eyes were X-shaped. “Hey, Rudy. Hopefully you didn’t bring Penny here.” The green Snap said. “That’s Envy. He’s Snap’s jealousy, specifically of Penny.” Chivalry explained.
“Is Penny here or not, ‘cause if she is, then so help me.” Envy said. “No, Penny isn’t here.” Rudy said. “Good.” Envy said. “At least we didn’t run into Ivory yet.” Chivalry said. “Hey, what’s the problem with Ivory?” Envy asked angrily. “It’s not that I don’t like Ivory, but you’re the only one who doesn’t not want anyone to know about him. Especially not Rudy.” Chivalry said. “Hey, why wouldn’t you want Rudy to know you’re—“ Envy said before getting slashed and absorbed into the sword, causing a green line to form on the blade. “I’m sorry.” Chivalry said. “What’s Ivory?” Rudy asked as their search continued. “You know how Snap was worried a piece might represent a trait he doesn’t want people to know about? Ivory is that piece. He doesn’t represent anything bad, but we’re worried about what might happen if you find out.” Chivalry said.
“Surely it can’t be too bad.” Rudy said before noticing a purple Snap run past. He and Chivalry quickly gave chase. “Gotta get to the Globe Theater!” The purple Snap said. “That’s Fanboy. I don’t think I need to explain what he represents.” Chivalry said. They eventually chased Fanboy into a dead end, causing him to turn around and reveal his eyes were in the shape of stars. “Hey guys! Do you know where the exit is?” Fanboy asked. “We’ll look for the exit after we reunite all the pieces.“ Chivalry said as he readied the Prism Sword. “Hey, you kinda remind me of the knight from Rapunzel! Remember that time we and Penny were in the knight costume?” Fanboy said. Chivalry absorbed Fanboy into the Prism Sword, creating a purple line on the blade. “Now, Rudy, stay here while I look for Ivory.” Chivalry said before running off.
Rudy decided to wander the maze a little bit while waiting for Chivalry. “Rudy!” a cheery voice said. Rudy turned around, expecting to see Chivalry, but instead he saw who he quickly realized was Ivory. The first thing he noticed was that Ivory was pink. The second was that his eyes were heart-shaped. “Oh, Rudy!” Ivory said as he ran up to Rudy and hugged him, sending them both toppling to the ground. “Ah, Rudy, I was looking for you! I missed you so, so, so much! I’m so happy I found you!” Ivory said. At first, Rudy was confused. Why were the others so scared of having him run into Ivory if he’s so nice? “So, what part of Snap do you represent?” Rudy asked. “Isn’t it obvious?” Ivory said as he looked at Rudy while smiling. Rudy felt his face heat up as he started piecing things together. “You figured it out, right? I’m his love for you!” Ivory said.
“Wait, you love me, or you’re in love with me?” Rudy asked. “Both!” Ivory said while beaming. Rudy felt like he was going to melt into a puddle. He soon managed to speak. “Well, I also love you. I love every single part of you. But you’re only one part, and… I’d love it if you’d join the other pieces, so I can love you all at once.” He said. Ivory smiled. “Anything to make you happy, Rudy.” He said. He let Rudy go, allowing him to stand up. “Oh, you ran into Ivory.” Chivalry said sadly as he approached Rudy. “I love you too.” Rudy said to Chivalry. “You… do?” Chivalry asked as a look of surprise formed on his face. He sighed before he walked up to Ivory and absorbed him into the sword, causing a pink line to form. “Well, that just leaves me.” Chivalry said as he turned to face Rudy. They both smiled.
“Thank you, Chivalry.” Rudy said. Chivalry kneeled down to kiss Rudy’s hand. “It’s been an honor.” Chivalry said before plunging the Prism Sword into his chest, causing him to vanish in a puff of light. A silver line formed on the blade, and it started to fly in the air. In a flash of light, Snap was back to normal, holding the sword in his hand. “Where am I? What happened?” Snap asked. He looked as his reflection in the sword’s blade, and the memories of all his pieces flowed back at once. He looked at Rudy. “Sorry you had to see that.” Snap said while looking away. “Remember what I said?” Rudy asked. “You said… you love every part of me. Is that true?” Snap said. The smile on Rudy’s face was all that was needed to know the answer. “So uh, how do we get out of here?” Snap asked. Rudy quickly drew a hot air balloon and motioned for Snap to hop inside.
While they were ascending in the balloon, Snap looked at the sword. “So, uh, what are we gonna do about this thing?” Snap asked. “My plan was to put it in a rock.” Rudy said. “Sword in a rock. Classic.” Snap said. “Not sure where to put the rock, though.” Rudy said. “Maybe the Candy Cane Forest?” Snap suggested as he glanced at Rudy. The zoner let out a small gasp when he saw Rudy in the balloon’s shade with the sun behind him, making him look like he was glowing. “Hm, that sounds like a good idea. Maybe I should engrave an explanation as to what the Prism Sword does in the rock.” Rudy said, but Snap was too caught up in the beautiful sight in front of him to understand what he was saying. He almost didn’t step out of the balloon when it reached the top of the cliff, but Rudy grabbed him by the hand and helped him out. Then they headed to the Candy Cane Forest.
Eventually they found a clearing that would be great for the sword to be. “Once I make this rock, you can put the sword in it.” Rudy said as he pulled out the Magic Chalk and went to work creating the rock. “You’re really handsome.” Snap said under his breath as Rudy added the final details to the rock that would contain the Prism Sword. “What was that?” Rudy said as he turned around. “You’re really handsome.” Snap said, loud enough for Rudy to hear this time. “Thank you! Now can you stab the sword in?” Rudy said as he motioned to the rock. “Uh, yeah!” Snap said as he ran up to the rock. “Thank you, I guess.” He said to the sword before plunging it into the rock. “What was that for?” Rudy asked. “I guess… it took some worry off my chest. With the whole thing with Ivory and all.” Snap said. “I see.” Rudy said. Snap then ran up to Rudy and hugged him. “I love you.” He said. Rudy hugged back. “I love you too.” He said. “That’s the third time you’ve said that today.” Snap said while holding back laughter. “It’s true.” Rudy said. Snap sighed happily. “Maybe Blocky knocking me off that cliff wasn’t so bad after all.”
