The Sorrow of a Child Finally Healed

Summary:

The past mistakes of parents that weren't ready for any of this linger on as the pain held by the ghost of their first child. While they swear to be better with their new kids not wanting to repeat their rookie mistakes, the first one never forgot. Jealousy and pain consuming her soul completely. Though maybe her hurt soul will finally be healed.

Basically JuannaFlippa gets closured and finally feels truly loved. First of a series of one shots I want to make about the ghost kids.

Notes:

Things will differ from cannon, I just want to give Flippa proper closure. In this CodeFlippa is just a corrupted hurt version of JuanaFlippa's ghost.

Work Text:

Marina was looking to her husband with worry. He had been disappearing for days at a time, even when it was their days with the two kids. That wasn't all of it however, strange green and black markings on Slimes body. At this point the glowing shifting mass had consumed an entire arm. Whenever Mariana tried to get answers all he got was Slime saying it was for Flippa. Putting a hand on her husband's shoulder Mariana sighed. "Please let it go, look what's happening to you. You aren't okay and it isn't getting better Slime. Please do you want Sunny and Pepito to see you like this." He didn't want to argument, but he couldn't just be silent about it.

"Of course you would say that. Oh course you would just move on abandon her!" The slime hybrids started up.

"You know that's not what I'm saying!" Mariana spoke looking her love in the eyes. Slime only looked away stepping away, it was a hard night for both of them.

Maybe that's why he let it slip. "Well I'm not the one that killed her!" Slime regretted it as soon as he said it. He knew it wasn't his wife's fault. Just how Tilin wasn't his, it was just a hard night. Tears fell from his face as Mariana could only silently stare at slime unsure if she should smack him or hug him.

Unknown to them someone was watching a person that hated their fighting. One that hated their mistakes. She hated the pain they caused on her, maybe she deserved to suffer. The fact after getting her dad back she was at risk to loosing him again. The only thing she hated more was the thought of being replaced.

Glass shattered onto the floor as the picture frame fell off the wall. Sunny screamed out of fear of the sudden noise. She hurried over to the family photo she happily had. Glass shards stuck threw it spreading holes into the precious memory.

Part of her wished she could be at her Pa's house right now. She did like papa slime but strange things have happened whenever she's visited for the past few weeks. It was as if something didn't want her, as if she didn't belong. Tears fell down her cheeks, she just stayed getting along with Leo and Tallulah. Now someone else is pushing her away.

"Sunny!" She could hear Slime scream almost in terror as he ran in. The slime hybrid immediately scooped his daughter up into his arms.

"Sonething broken again?" Mariana questioned as he quickly entered. Both's faces were both filled with concern for their daughter. Sunny didn't say a word refusing to explain what happened. All she did was hold on to her papa with all her strength.

"Help her back to bed Slime, I'm gonna make sure Pepito wasn't waken up. We will continue our conversation in the morning." Was all Mariana said before leaving.

In a lush cave a girl with cracked glasses was withering in anger. Black and green energy radiating all around her. She seemed to flicker with each breath as she floated above the stone ground.

"W4Y W0NT S4E L3AV3!" She screamed her voice cracking distorted. That stupid girl wouldn't leave the room that was rightfully hers. Atleast that Pepito was a son, though he wanted her parents all to herself. It wasn't fair those two don't feel hated by their parents! It wasn't fair that they didn't have to hide under their cover as the fights were worse and louder! Why couldn't she get that, why couldn't she get that happy family! Why did she have to die! "IT I5 N0T FAIR!? W4Y!? IT'S N0T FAIR!" She screamed in the hollowed cave, her aura spiking around her.

"It isn't fair!" She heard a voice yell back. Flippa glanced to a young pre teen with short curly black hair that went to her shoulders. A purple hat rested on her head matching her over coat. Someone Flippa never got a chance to meet but one she knew somewhat about. "What happened to you wasn't fair!" Tallulah yelled a second time. Flippa stumbled back taken slightly off gaurd.

"WH4T D0 YU0 KN0W 4B0UT F4IR!?" Flippa screamed her voice cracking echoing more than it should.

"I was left alone in an attic forgot about barley found before I died. One of parents busy with important work. My papa possessed by a demon to the point I almost lost him. Life isn't always fair. Yes things have gone lucky at times for me, but I remember when it didn't. You shouldn't of died, energy radiated off that sword when it shouldn't have. They regret it they love you." Tallulah did her best to comfort the angry spirit.

"...TH3Y R3PL4C3D M3..." Flippa varley got out as tge strange aura slowly died down.

"They didn't they were given kids like they were given you. They didn't want them at first scared they'd only cause harm. They sweared they'd treat Pepito and Sunny well because they didn't want to fail someone like again. They hurt you but that doesn't mean you have to hurt them." The older girl spoke with a firm yet understanding tone.

She stepped foward her hands softly glowing with magic as she pulled the ghost into a hug. Her words must of came threw as the strange aura slowly but surely dissipated. It revealed the girls true form a small girl no older than six holding a teddy bear. "You can still see me?" JuannaFlippa questioned.

"I can, now let me show you something." Tallulah offered as she grabbed the girls hand gently.

In the early morning Slime and Mariana sat on their porch as the sun slowly rose. "...I'm sorry her death wasn't your fault...I found her old dresses in the attic yesterday I just miss her..." The green hybrid slowly apologized.

Mariana looked to her husband slowly grabbing his hand. "It's hard for me too...it was my sword...I know we are hurting but fighting will just cause more pain. We promised we wouldn't hurt this second chance." He spoke glancing to the sky. It was nice to have moments like this, happy moments of peace.

"Just scared to let go to forget h-" Slime started to speak. Mariana turned to him putting a finger on her husband's lips.

"Excepting she's dead is different than forgetting about her. We will never forget her, we won't let her soul die." The wife comforted him.

"Promise?" Slime questioned unsure of everything.

"I promiss." He measured him gently. For the first time in a while the pain disappeared from Slime's arm.

Unknown to them someone was watching, actually too were. JuanaFlippa and Tallulah were in a nearby bush listening in. Her parents truly love her, JuanaFlippa couldn't help but smile. There was something she had to do and fast.

When Sunny woke up with a small stretch she noticed all the glass was cleaned up. She assumed mama Mariana cleaned it up. That's when something caught her eye. A new photo was hung up upon the wall in a frame shed never seen before. Like the old one it had Slime, Mariana, Pepito, and her all together.

However two things were different with this one. The most obvious this is it wasn't taken with a camera, a child drew it with crayon. Secondly there was a fifth person standing next to Sunny in it. She was young with glasses and braided pigtails. "Papa! Mama! Come look!" She shouted with a smile on her face.
