Fred had rented a motel room for the night, while visiting one of the science fairs and returning back home to L.A., though she wanted to get some proper sleep first before returning to Hyperion Hotel. After the day she had, she wanted to wash it away with the grime, sweat and dirt. She had entered the bathroom and turned on the warm water as the steam began coming from the shower stall, while she unwrapped the towel from her torso, letting it hang on a rack and entered as she relaxed, letting the water trickling down her naked skin give her some relief. Fred took a handful of bathroom soap in her hand and began rubbing her arms and chest, while the filth was running down her legs in rivulets into the drain, when she heard 'crash.'
The time she had spent with Team Angel, alongside with five years in Pylea had sharpened her instincts enough to make her wary and realize what was going on. Fred decided to keep the shower running as to not alarm her intruder, while she walked out and wrapped the towel around her body to cover herself. Looking around, Fred saw a broom and picked it as an improvised weapon, while she carefully opened the bathroom door, trying to make as little noise as possible, while she looked around for any sign of an intruder, but no one was there.
"Hello? Is someone out there?" Fred called.
Nothing.
Fred frowned. She was sure someone was in the room, though was it possible they got away this quickly? A demon? Maybe a ghost she couldn't see?
Suddenly, she heard barking and felt her towel being pulled as she tried to hold on to it and looked down to see a demonic hound the size of a small puppy looking up at her, while biting into her towel, though he still looked ugly and dangerous enough to leave some scars on her.
"No! Bad dog! Bad dog! No!" Fred protested, trying to hold on, but the demonic dog ripped the towel, while Fred fell on the floor, butt first and naked. Squealing in embarrassment, Fred covered her exposed breasts, while getting up as the hound was narrowing his eyes at her and growling, making Fred nervous as she held out her hand, while with the other she was trying to cover her small breasts. "Good doggy… nice doggy…"
The dog barked loudly and Fred screamed, while he looked like if he was about to attack her and she ran to the balcony and opened the door and shut it, but the dog rammed the glass as it cracked and Fred groaned, looking for a way out before realizing she had to jump down and run down L.A. completely naked. As the dog was about to run and shatter the glass, Fred on instinct jumped over the balcony down into the bushes that softened her fall, though Fred groaned at the leaves at branches pricking at her exposed skin. Fred got up and left the bush, with broken timbers and leaves hanging on her arms, shoulders, thighs and hair. Fred hid behind a garbage bin and curled into a ball, groaning. Now she was naked, covered in dirt and leaves and she would have to run several blocks to Hyperion Hotel with nothing but her arms to cover herself. Fred clenched her teeth and took a deep breath. Screw it. Fred took a deep breath and got up before running off, not even bothering to use her arms to cover herself, since it would only slow her down, exposing herself to the white moonlight and streetlights. She survived five years in Pylea. Streaking naked in L.A. in 3 A.M. should be a walk in the park for her.
Fred was panting hard and felt shivers all over her body due to being wet and naked, though luckily not many people seemed to be around and were too far to notice a naked woman running down the streets of L.A., though there were still vampires, demons and other monsters lurking in the dark she had to worry about. Seeing a nearby fence and deciding to take a shortcut, Fred jumped and climbed over… only to see a flashlight beam passing by her briefly before returning back and aiming at her.
"Hey!"
Fred paled and didn't even think twice before running off once more, trying to escape the guard chasing her as she looked around the park and made a beeline across the open area to the small exit of the park. Great. She had hoped no one would see her, at least not any authorities, but now she had streaking all over L.A. on her rap sheet.
"Stop!"
Fred felt the flashlight on her back and saw the silhouette of her shadow on the ground as she let out another moan of dismay. Now at least one man got a good look at her exposed rear. After what seemed to be a lengthy chase, the man ran out of breath, but Fred kept on running. The things she had been through in Pylea and her experience and training with Team Angel left her with good enough physique and endurance to be capable of a lengthy run as she jumped and climbed over the fence and jumped and kept on running until she ended in an alley as she most ran out of breath and sat down, taking a break. Fred breathed heavily as she looked down to see her chest heaving up and down, which only made her aware more of and horrified by her nudity. Though she survived Pylea, she could survive streaking naked too. After a small break, Fred was about to resume her run, before she saw some people pass by and she paled, too far to notice her, but they kept getting closer and closer. Fred paled and wondered what to do. She wanted to hide in an alley as she pinned her back to the wall, her bare butt against the cold brick wall before she looked around and groaned, realizing what she had to do.
The people walked down the alley, none the wiser as they passed the dumpster.
A moment later, a baker exited the alley door and opened the dumpster, ditching in remnants of baked food before leaving.
Fred opened the lid and peeked out from the dumpster, now covered even more in dirt, some garbage, filth and even some syrup and pieces of cake. At least the dumpster wasn't full, so she didn't reek completely, but, she was on verge of tears as she swallowed hard. This was nothing compared to Pylea, but still, the humiliation and embarrassment was starting to get to her. But she was almost at Hyperion, so this nightmare was almost finally over. She climbed out and tried to brush off as much of the filth as she could, though it just began to enrage her. She had just showered and was now even filthier than before.
As Fred turned yet another corner, she finally saw that she was on the right street and on the other side she saw Hyperion Hotel right across the street. Fred hesitated, not sure if she wanted Angel, Wesley, Gunn, Lorne, Connor or Cordelia to see her naked, mortified by imagining their reactions. Oh, God. Cordelia would have a field day with her, making Fred groan. Still, she was almost at the finish line. She had to suck it up.
Fred took a breath and after double-checking no one was walking down the street, nor were any cars driving down the road, ran straight across towards the entrance, bursting the door open and shutting it behind her, while pulling the blinders as she sighed in relief. Finally.
"Fred?"
Looking up towards the voice, Fred saw Cordelia at the reception desk sitting by the computer and Angel, Gunn and Wesley standing next to her. All four of them were now looking straight at her. She stood there for a few seconds, too stunned to cover herself or hide behind something as she just stared back at them, while they stared, shocked, seeing Fred naked, covered in pieces of cake, sweat and dirt, with Lorne tending to Connor in his arms before covering his eyes, while turning away.
"Nothing to see here, Connor, go to sleep." Lorne said.
"Fred?" Angel repeated. "Are you OK?"
Finally recovering, Fred placed her arm across her breasts and other hand in between her legs. "No. I'm not OK. Some demon attacked me when I was having a shower."
Cordelia swallowed hard, stifling her snickers and turned around, covering her mouth, while muffling her laughter. Fred just let out a moan of dismay and embarrassment, while Angel and Gunn cleared their throats, struggling to keep their faces straight and Wesley was flabbergasted, to say the least. Gunn after a moment kept his eyes to the floor, struggling between amusement and embarrassment, though he tried to do his best to keep his face straight due to his relationship with Fred.
"Cordy, please…" Fred squeaked.
"I'm sorry… I just…" Cordelia took a glance at Fred before turning away again, snickering.
"You need a minute?" Angel drawled.
"No, no, I think I'll…" Cordelia ran down the corridor, avoiding looking at Fred, otherwise she would lose it as she stifled her giggles.
"Can I just get dressed, please? Preferably with someone guarding the room." Fred said.
"Sure." Angel said as he and Wesley accompanied Fred, though Wesley, briefly stunned by seeing Fred naked, wasn't paying attention and stumbled on a chair, while they heard a booming laughter echoing throughout the entire hotel.
"AHAHAHA! Cake dirty Fred! Oh, God! I can't… this is… I can't even breathe… I'm sorry, it's just… AHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Cordelia exploded in hysterics, her echoing laughter almost haunting, while Fred blushed, let out another squeal of dismay and covered her ears, running upstairs, wanting to get some proper shower without anyone attacking her, while Angel, Gunn and Wesley, who had just gotten up just sighed in frustration, unamused and rubbed their foreheads, with Lorne torn between amusement or annoyance. One of those nights.
