Work Text:
“W-What do you mean it's gone?!” Ruby hissed suddenly, drawing the attention of Jaune, his teammates and the other half of Team RWBY as Ruby turned on her sister with a harsh look on her face.
“Ruby!” Yang snapped back, staring around her nervously. “That's enough!”
“Is everything alright?” Jaune frowned, a look of concern on his face as he regarded the two siblings who normally got on a lot better than most siblings often did.
“Yes.” Yang replied firmly. “I just used up the last of Ruby's Dust for training. Right sis.”
“Right.” Ruby mumbled grumpily, prodding at her breakfast with a dissatisfied expression. “How long until you can repay me?”
“A week.” Yang answered, and Jaune startled when Ruby slammed her palms against the table with enough strength two holes cracked against the surface where her palm's smacked down, sending cutlery clattering after they bounced and making the entire area around them silent as the little Red Reaper of Team RWBY finally snapped.
“Seven days.” Ruby growled slowly. “You… Seven days?!”
“We shouldn't do this now Ruby.” Yangn hissed back.”There is a time and a place for this.”
“Oh that's true alright.” Ruby snarled, shoving herself up and storming away. Yang growled and followed after her, leaving their friends in stunned silence.
Although chatter picked up around the rest of the cafeteria, Jaune and the others remained quiet, wondering just what had happened. That…It didn't take a genius to realise that it wasn't about Dust.
Jaune had been chosen as the, in Nora’s words, ‘virgin sacrifice’ to check up in the wayward “R” and “Y” of Team RWBY. It would have been more hurtful if it wasn't so true.
Weiss and Blake had volunteered, but since they had to sleep in the same room with their teammates they has agreed to let someone else go in their stead just in case hurtful words were spoken in a moment of anger. Most of the others had Yang in mind when they thought of the one most likely to do so, but Jaune new Ruby was far more likely to finally snap at Weiss considering the very rare rants she would have about her partner, though since Weiss had stopped being so spurned over who the leader of Team RWBY was Jaune had not heard another rant from Ruby about Weiss.
In each hand was a plate of food, seeing as the sisters had been missing all day and had skipped most of their breakfast. He searched high and low, coming up with nothing. He eventually headed to the Headmaster's office, both as the last place to check and to finally alert a member of staff to keep an eye out should they not be there.
In the elevator, juggling two plates of rapidly cooling food, the classical Arc luck struck and Jaune found himself descending rather than going up. Be must've bumped a button in the elevator, but the cancel button didn't work and he didn't fancy being stuck there due to pressing the emergency button.
When the elevator dinged open, Jaune peered into a gloomy room with curiosity. He didn't know Beacon had an underground section, but what he saw in front of him was a ginormous room with very poor lighting. He shrugged, figuring it would be best to ask Pyrrha or the Headmaster, when he finally registered the sound of shallow breathing.
For a moment Jaune froze in fear as he eyed the now ominous gloom fearfully. Then the sound of the breathing became clearer as adrenaline pumped through his panicked mind, and he rushed inside the room and tried peering through the darkness. Someone was hurt, badly from the sounds of it, and Jaune cursed himself before setting the plates of food on the ground and grabbing his Scroll from his pocket.
The light from his Scroll pierced the gloom, and he followed the breathing deeper into the room. His eyes widened at the sight of Yang slumped against a concrete pillar, broken pebbles scattered around her and looking like she lost a fight against a freight train. He hurried over and fell to his knees next to her, sighing in relief to find her pulse beating and steady. He made to input the emergency number on his Scroll designed for something going wrong on the field, when Yang weakly grasped his wrist. One of her eyes was bruised and swollen shut, whereas the other was wide-eyed with fear and seemed to state into the distance
“Y-You s-shouldn't…r,run…y-y-you n-need to r-run…”
“I'm not going anywhere without you Yang.” Jaune told her firmly. “How did this happen? Where's Ruby?”
Yang's one good eye widened with an abject horror that honestly terrified Jaune. Her lips moved as if to say something, before the distant look of fear in her eye sharpened and stared right behind him. The hairs on the back of his neck prickled with fear, and he turned around quickly after steeling his nerves, standing protectively in front of Yang.
“R-Ruby?!” Jaune squeaked, before sighing in relief as his friend giggled. “Damn it Ruby! Don't scare me like that! Y-You're bleeding too! Are you okay? Does anything hurt?”
“I'm fine.” Ruby smiled in her usual chirpy tone, as if her lower face wasn't smeared in blood. She looked more pale than usual, and he could barely see the silver of her eyes due to the fact her pupils were so dilated it made it seem like her eyes were a pure midnight onyx. “I'm glad you're here though. I was getting bored, and don't tell Weiss but you are definitely my bestie.”
“Uh…Thanks?” Jaune shook his head in an attempt to dispel his confusion. “I'm glad your okay Ruby, but Yang’s pretty beat up right now and you don't look one hundred percent either. We need to get you two to the infirmary.”
“But I'm fine.” Ruby pouted, glancing down behind Jaune before a very un-Ruby sneer crossed her face. “So is the little dragon . She's been through worse.”
“R-Ruby?” Jaune blinked, taken aback by the venomous tone of her voice. “She's your sister! She needs help!”
“ Uh!” Ruby groaned in a stereotypically teenage manner. “You sound as boring as dad! Lighten up Jaune! She'll be fine. The only way she won't is if she annoys me some more.”
Jaune froze and stared at his friend carefully. He did not like the look on her face, the one that said she enjoyed his shock at her words.
“Ruby…” Jaune began quietly. “Did you do this to Yang?”
“N-No!” Ruby gasped in mock horror, raising a hand to her mouth. “But actually yes. Why? What does it even matter to you? I'm your friend. I'm the one who met you first, who was your friend first.”
“Yang's my friend too Ruby.” Jaune replied, eyeing his friend carefully. A scowl settled over her features.”Whatever happened between you too earlier can't…it can't justify hurting her like this Ruby.”
“Oh, I'm sure you'll disagree once the full consequences of her idiocy are revealed.” Ruby smiled in a cutesy manner. “Now why don't you hand over your Scroll?”
“Why do you want my Scroll?” Jaune asked calmly.
“To stop you from trying to put in the emergency button that'll summon the teachers.” Ruby smiled innocently, eyes gleaming as Jaune stiffened. “You aren't very discreet you know? Plus Yang keeps looking at the hand you've got behind your back. Just another thing you can blame her for later I guess.”
Jaune said nothing, his mind working a mile a minute trying to understand the situation and figure a way out. His options weren't good. Something was clearly wrong with Ruby and he didn't like his odds against her on a good day with her taking it easy on him. Not to mention there was Yang too…
“Don't make me repeat myself Jaune.” Ruby said after a few moments of tense silence, that smile still on her face. “I don't want to get angry at you too.”
Operation “Hope for the Best” it was then.
Jaune dove around the pillar Yang was slumped by and hastily thumbed in the emergency number. Just as his thumb hovered over the dial, something slammed into his back and sent him hurtling into the dark shadows clinging to the corners of the room. Jaune's Aura flared as his Scroll clattered away, and he crawled to words as a pained hiss echoed through the room. A tornado of black and red rose petals tore past him, and his Scroll disappeared, leaving him in the dark.
He froze, trying to gather his bearings as his eyes adjusted to the low light. The whoosh of Ruby's semblance echoed around him, joined by disembodied giggles that left him tense and fearful. The whooshing stopped as he managed to find Yang, making him freeze just next to his fellow blonde, who was unmoving in the darkness. Only her breathing betrayed the fact she was still alive, and Jaune's ears and eyes strained for any hint of Ruby. There were no footsteps, no giggles, no flashes of colour. Nothing.
Jaune leaned down to pick up Yang when a bright light seared his eyes. Jaune howled in surprise and pain, tumbling backwards. Something slammed into his chest, sending him sprawling onto the ground, and he fought against Ruby's surprising strength as she kept him pinned to the ground with a boot to his chest.
“Not so fun when you are the one being blinded is it?” Ruby demanded angrily. “Why do you have to be so stubborn Vomit Boy? So like dad ? I want you to know whatever happens now isn't just because of you, but also because of Yang, so consider who you save next time.”
“R-Ruby…” Jaune gasped, struggling against her. He gasped in pain as her boot pressed down harder, making it harder to breathe. “W-Why?”
“Because you are prey.” Ruby snarled. Jaune wheezed as a heavy weight settled on his chest, and as Jaune's eyes recovered from her temporarily blinding him with what he realised was his own Scroll's flashlight, his throbbing, pained eyes just barely making out the shadow of Ruby's petite form straddling his chest. “Quite delicious prey at that…”
Jaune tensed at the longing that had entered her tone as she trailed off and as her hand cupped his cheek. He shivered at her touch, her fingers and palm feeling ice cold.
“T-Talk to me.” Jaune asked, trying not to sound like he was begging too much. Ruby stilled on top of him. “W-What is going on?”
“You stumbled across a secret I had hoped to keep to myself and my family.” Ruby replied tonelessly. “Yang… lost medicine I need to keep…I am not ill. I have gifts, powers and weaknesses from my affliction, but I am not sick, not weak. Guess. I want you to guess what I am, what I really am.”
Jaune swallowed nervously, wriggling underneath her but finding himself able to barely move an inch. There was no reason for Ruby to be this heavy, and she wasn’t this strong normally. He remembered the blood on her chin, the darkness in her eyes and black petals amongst her normal rose ones. He swallowed tentatively, wondering how she was able to see so perfectly in the gloomy darkness around them.
“V-Vampire.” Jaune guessed, and Ruby giggled. “A-Are…Ruby are you a v-vampire?”
“Ding, ding, ding!” Ruby giggled, leaning down. Her stiffened as she practically draped herself over his torso, an embarrassed blush spreading on his cheeks as he felt her crotch rest on his stomach just above his pelvis. Ruby’s face was in front of him now, features barely visible from the dim light cast by the far too distant elevator. “I have no idea why Weiss thinks you are such an idiot. I mean, yeah, you need to get better at understanding what no means and you aren’t the best in class but that doesn’t make you dumb! I mean, Yang can do well in class but she’s the biggest idiot to walk Remnant since whoever invented racism.”
“Your breath.” Jaune whispered. “It’s cold.”
“All of me is cold Jaune.” Ruby smiled, finger trailing down his cheek to his jaw, making him tense and stiffen in fear. “I’m technically undead, whatever that means, but that isn’t important. What’s important is that you have a decision to make.”
“W-What?” Jaune stammered, shivering when Ruby leaned down so that her cold breath brushed against his ear. He could feel a lingering heat from the blood staining her chain, the metallic scent of it clogging the back of his throat with a primal fear.
“I’m bored, I’m hungry and I’m angry.” Ruby whispered. “So either I can feed from you, which means you not raising that annoying Aura of yours, or I feed from Yang. I broke her Aura and fed from her already, so I doubt she would survive it. Feeding is a…intimate thing for me. I can only do it those I love. Yang is annoying but ultimately she’s family. You…I want something more. I want you to be mine. So either you ‘sacrifice’ yourself and let me have you however and whenever I want, or you can listen whilst Yang suffers. Do you want to know what sounds a dying body makes when drained of the last pint of its blood?”
Jaune was many things. He may not be the most valiant or brave all the time, but he was foolhardy enough to pursue his dreams whilst lacking proper preparation and he had been raised to be loyal and devoted to those he cared about. Without a second to so much as consider the consequences, Jaune gave an answer to Ruby’s ultimatum.
“Take me.” He whispered, closing his eyes in fear. “Just don’t hurt Yang, don’t hurt anyone else. I-If you have to hurt someone…then just hurt me.”
Ruby said nothing for a moment, but her breathing got heavier after his answer. He yelped when she licked the shell of his ear suddenly.
“I have no idea how Weiss can be so stupid.” Ruby growled into his ear, pulling away slightly. “You’ve signed a deal with the devil Jaune. You’re mine. If you so much as look at my bimbo sister I’ll kill her in front of you. I’m not having her take you away from me like she stole everyone else.”
“R-Ruby…” Jaune trailed off, not sure of what he wanted or intended to say. He was surprised by her words, by her venom to the sister she loved…or pretended to love. Was this the real Ruby Rose? Was everything else, was his best friend, just a false mask?
“Shush.” Ruby instructed, a cold hand pressing against his lips. He closed his mouth, tensing as her finger skimmed across his lips, running circles around them over and over again. “Open your mouth.”
Jaune tentatively did so, keeping his eyes shut as Ruby giggled. It felt like he was being bullied again, being humiliated, and the fact it was being done by Ruby made his eyes sting with unshed tears and his heart palpate with pain. He gasped when she pressed a finger into his mouth, running it along his teeth and tongue and the roof of his mouth. He felt the urge to retch, but thankfully she didn’t push it in any deep.
“Close your lips. Don’t bite me.” Ruby growled, and Jaune did so, unease trembling down his spine as embarrassment and a deep-seated, hard-hitting feeling of violation rocked through him. “Suck.”
“M-Mumby?!” Jaune mumbled in surprise, voice muffled by her index finger. Ruby giggled, other hand caressing his hair as she leaned down, icy breath brushing against his neck before she hovered above his ear.
“ Suck .” Ruby ordered more firmly, a breathy tone to her voice he couldn’t place. The fingers in his hair tightened, nails dragging against his scalp uncomfortably. He closed his eyes, unsure of what to do or what she wanted, so her pretended it was a lollipop and sucked the finger in his mouth. Ruby shivered, her breathing getting heavy in his ear as Jaune awkwardly did as she commanded. He froze for a moment when her hips rocked against his stomach, and she tugged at his hair painfully “Did I tell you to stop?”
Jaune kept going, his embarrassment and sense of violation growing with every moment. Ruby continued to rock her hips, grinding her pelvis against his stomach, and Jaune tried to ignore the breathless gasps that came out of her for some reason, going straight down his ear and searing into his brain.
Ruby shuddered to a halt, a keening moan echoing through the dark room and burning down his ear. Jaune trembled and shivered, his stomach feeling damp and his heart feeling broken.
“M-Muby?” Jaune mumbled, unable to speak properly with the tongue in his mouth. She retracted it reluctantly, and he swallowed nervously. “R-Ruby w-w-what did you j-just-?”
“I came.” Ruby purred, making Jaune bite back a sob. “Pyrrha really has been working her magic on you huh? We should be calling you Mister Muscles instead of Vomit Boy. Now its time for a snack. Keep your Aura down Jaune, or I’ll have to hurt you and Yang.”
Jaune squeezed his eyes shut and let her tilt his head towards the right. Bile burned at the back of his throat and fear made his chest tighten in a way that felt like icy chains were being wrapped around him and were choking him. Sharp teeth tickled the sensitive skin on his neck, and he gritted his teeth together as she slowly trailed down his neck, never piercing his skin but leaving him tense, on edge and feeling a tickling, itching sensation afterwards.
Suddenly, burning hot fangs sank into his neck, the part where it curved off into his shoulders, and he howled in agony. It took every ounce of his being to will his Aura down, to stop it from flashing and annoying Ruby. Maybe it was a vampire thing, or maybe it was light in the darkness, but either way he had to stop his primal instinct of self-preservation from flaring if he wanted to get out of this relatively unscathed and with Yang alive.
It felt like liquid fire was being injected into his veins. Ruby suckled at his neck, slurping away at his blood as it spilled out from around the sharp fangs piercing flesh and vein. Pain and agony roared through him as she licked and kissed at his neck, almost as if she was trying to comfort him from the agony she was inflicting.
Eventually she pulled away, the fangs sinking away and replaced by a tongue that licked and circled the twin holes left in his flesh. He trembled in fear and pain, realising with a muted shock that his flesh was healing, stretching and contorting until he felt whole again.
“You…” Ruby murmured, sounding delirious as she rested on top of him, her forehead on his. “ You . You taste delicious Jaune, so much better than Yang and dad and Qrow. I’m so glad you agreed to be mine, all mine, even if I know you’re scared.”
Jaune said nothing. He had nothing good to say and he didn’t trust himself to not say something stupid that doomed him and Yang. Thinking of Yang kept him grounded, even if he wanted nothing more than to die fighting. So long as she breathed, he had to endure until there was a moment of weakness or distraction he could use to grab Yang and escape to the elevator.
“Silly Jaune.” Ruby said suddenly, but her voice was deeper and more authoritative. There was a velvet edge to it that made him relax in a way he knew was not natural, and there was a cutting edge as well that made him tremble and want nothing more than to stay quite, still obedient. “There is no running. There is no distractions. I’m a predator, remember? I may have a soft spot for you, but that just means I’m keeping a closer eye on you, on everything you do.”
“R-Ruby?” Jaune gasped out, trembling at the resounding silence. His voice echoed in the dark, cavernous room. Hers hadn’t. “N-No!”
“Clever boy.” Ruby purred, nuzzling her head against his. He could feel her jaw brush against his nose, confirming his newest and worst fear as she continued to speak without her lips moving. “I told you that you are mine now. I did not mean that just in a metaphorical sense. You are literally mine. Mine to feed from, mine to love, mine to fuck.”
“R-Ruby?!” Jaune gasped, and she giggled out loud before kissing him suddenly. Jaune was taken aback completely, the taste of metallic blood on her tongue and now in her mouth as her lips crashed against him and her mouth dominated his. He nearly retched at the taste, but the feeling was forcibly suppressed by a force not entirely his own.
“You heard me. I can’t stutter when I’m in your head Jaune.” Ruby giggled, speaking as she kissed him. He could barely recover from the feeling of complete lack of power he had. Her voice was in his head, roaring through his mind, her tongue was plundering his mouth and barely letting him breath and the scent of her and the feeling of her was all around him. “I’m going to fuck you. Maybe in a few years we’ll have young, but for now we’ll just fuck. I’m going to claim you, so that you’ll never forget who you’ll belong to. In a few hours, everyone will know that your rightful place is by my side.”
Jaune tried to struggle, but his limbs were limp and unresponsive. Ruby sighed in his head.
“Don’t fight it. You can’t hurt me. You can’t oppose my desires. You’re mine after all.” Ruby explained matter-of-factly, making him feel sick to the stomach. It shouldn’t be happening, shouldn’t be right, but his body remained limp and still despite the fact he wanted to throw her off of him. “If you resist all that will happen is you’ll lay there like a limp fish. Don’t be a terrible fuck Jaune. I want my first time to be the best, I want your first time to be the best. That’s what we deserve. That’s what our right is.”
With great reluctance he was able to raise shaky hands to settle on her hips and kiss her back tentatively. He figured the best he could do right now until he could recover and think and escape was to appease her, and Jaune found a battle raging inside him. As much as he wanted to deny her, Ruby was a beautiful young woman and his hormone-ravaged body was responding to that. It must have been some sort of carry over, her desires affecting him, because he refused to believe he wanted this.
“Of course you do silly.” Ruby giggled, her voice filled with a genuine joy. “You can know what I’m feeling, but my feelings won’t effect you beyond how you choose to react to how I’m feeling. That lust is yours Jaune. Are you ready for our first time?”
He desperately tried to think of nothing, to make his mind a blank canvass free from the turmoil inside him. He wanted to deny Ruby that perverse satisfaction she seemed to gain from knowing everything he was feeling, to know the truths he preferred to hide in denial or the memories he hoped to forget. Every embarrassment, every weakness, everything was laid bare before her and he never felt more vulnerable in his life.
“Don’t worry Jaune.” Ruby said kindly, stripping him out of his clothes and doing the same. He could barely make out her features in the dim light, only seeing a shadow of pale skin above him. “All of that is for me, just for me. I’ll never hurt you, not unless I have to, and never like how you fear. All my hurt will be a punishment, and all my punishment will by p-h-y-s-i-c-a-l~”
Jaune trembled as she dragged out the final word of her sentence as she tore apart the boxers protecting the last vestiges of his modesty. Her cold hands grabbed his shamefully hard cock, stroking him up and doing and making pleasure coil in conjunction with fear and revulsion in his stomach. She leaned down, taking him by surprise when she kissed him tenderly, before she suddenly sank down onto him.
Jaune gasped as her tight walls clung to him like a vice, keening noises of pleasure and pain coming from Ruby as she sank lower onto him. Despite it she did not slow or stop until he was completely hilted inside of her, his cock choked in her warm flesh.
“Jaune, Jaune, mine, mine.” Ruby called in his mind, breathy moans and gasps echoing through the room. “Mine, Jaune, Mine, Jaune.”
She did not stop her almost prayer like utterances as she began to ride him, quickly building up to a pace that left Jaune breathing heavily as he resisted the urge to grunt or groan in pleasure. Masturbation hadn’t prepared him for this and the sheer pleasure coursing through him as she rode him like a stallion. She convulsed and milked him, and Jaune could do little but finally give in, his cock jerking and spurting large ropes of his hot seed into her womb, painting her walls white. Somehow she got tighter around him, and he dimly realised she was cumming too.
“Ruby!”
“J-Jaune!”
They cried their names at nearly the same time. She collapsed bonelessly against his chest, and any thought of escape was crushed by the face his own body was as limp and boneless as hers was as they slowly came down from their orgasmic highs, as well as the fact she immediately knew he had thought of such due to the weird connection she had to his mind.
“Of course dummy.” Ruby giggled, a hint of steel in the velvet tone of her voice in his head now. “You’re mine now. I’ll kill anyone who thinks otherwise.”
As his mind conjured up images of Yang’s broken, bloody, barely breathing body, he didn’t doubt her words for a moment.
