Summary
The phone rings for one, two, six rings and Arthur has started looking up plane tickets when Eames finally picks up.
"Arthur, darling! What a delight!"
"Mr Eames." Arthur is proud of the way his voice comes out cool and professional. "I'm calling about a job."
"Sorry, what's that? I think you're breaking up—"
"You're in France, Eames, quit fucking arou—"
"I can't hear you, I'm losing—"
And then the asshole hangs up. Arthur growls at the phone.
His next three calls go unanswered and he's on a plane to Lyon within the hour, fueled by indignation and something he does not want to name.
