BTS Canon Compliant Fest focuses on Canon Compliant settings.
Canon Compliant is a term used to describe a fanfic's relationship to canon. It's applied to any fanfics that are not sent in an alternative universe. In this case canon is BTS real life events and timelines.
We also allow Canon Divergent fanfics. Canon Divergence is a term used for fanfiction set in a universe that diverges relatively narrowly from canon, with a point of departure in a characters back story or even during canon.
For example, we allow fics that feature omegaverse or hybrids, or fics where BTS disbands at some point in the future, but not fics where BTS never existed as an idol group.
