Chapter Text
(Some Jack and Sidney Spice/Smut)
The early morning sun was just beginning to filter through the windows when a knock on the bedroom door pulled Jack from his peaceful dream state. He blinked awake, gently moving Sidney’s hair aside to place a tender kiss on the top of her head. With a sigh of frustration, he turned his gaze toward the door.
“Yes?” he called out, trying to keep the annoyance from his voice.
A muffled response came through the door, “Oh, um…it’s your mother, Jack. She went into labor last night and things have progressed steadily. I’m taking her to Starfleet Medical in Paris.”
Sidney stirred beside him, blinking sleepily as she looked up at Jack, a smile forming on her lips. “Looks like our day just got a bit more exciting,”
“Hmm, but we're not going anywhere until I get some help with my morning problem,” Jack whispered in a husky voice, thrusting against her. “We’ll meet you there in a bit!” he called towards the door.
“See you soon, then,” Jean-Luc called back.
Jack and Sidney listened for his retreating footsteps before she reached down and guided him inside of her. She lay on him, her head on his chest as he held her close and pounded up into her for a bit, her whimpers and cries muffled by her head buried in his neck. Soon he felt her tighten around him and she let out a whimpered sigh as she came. After she’d recovered, she sat up and started riding him hard, as he put his hands on her hips holding her tightly. He started groaning in pleasure, feeling his climax building but not reaching the peak, and then subsiding. He pulled Sidney forward again and pounded up into her with wild abandon until they were both crying out loudly, both breathless, both fully spent as they came in a shared climax that had them clinging to each other.
They lay there for several minutes, recovering, trying to calm their breathing. “It will take awhile to get my Mum in a room,” Jack said, knowing how hospitals worked since he’d done his internship and residency at a hospital in London.
Sidney nodded, “I could sleep more.”
Jack nodded, “You took the words right out of my mouth.”
Soon they were back asleep, fingers entwined as they slept.
================================================================
The bustling halls of Starfleet Medical in Paris were a stark contrast to the tranquil ambiance inside Beverly private room. Soft lighting created a calming atmosphere as Jean-Luc stood by her side, his hand intertwined with hers.
Beverly leaned on her bed, her breath steady but labored. Jean-Luc’s expression was one of deep concern.
“Beverly, you’re doing wonderfully,” he murmured, his voice gentle but firm. “Just a bit longer.”
Beverly squeezed his hand, her eyes locking onto his. “I know, Jean-Luc. It’s just... it’s overwhelming.”
Jean-Luc nodded, brushing a stray lock of hair from her forehead. “You are the strongest person I know. You can do this, Beverly.”
A team of Starfleet medical staff moved efficiently around them, monitoring Beverly’s vitals and offering words of encouragement. Dr. Graham, who had been overseeing Beverly’s pregnancy, entered the room, her demeanor calm and authoritative.
“Everything looks good, Beverly. The baby’s doing well, and you’re progressing perfectly,” she reassured her, a comforting smile on her face. Beverly had decided she wanted to try and birth the baby naturally, only resorting to a cesarean section if absolutely necessary.
As another contraction hit, Beverly clenched her teeth and focused on Jean-Luc’s steady presence. “Almost there,” she whispered, more to herself than to him as the medical staff left the room to check on other laboring mothers.
Jean-Luc’s heart swelled with pride and love. “That’s right. Just a bit more, my love,” he said as he rubbed her lower back in circles while she leaned over the bed and swayed a bit. She made little noises as she breathed through the contraction.
After the contraction had ended, Beverly started walking around the room, stopping to sway a bit, squatting every few steps or so and swaying from side to side as she was in the squatting position.
“Beverly? I don’t think you told me where Jack was born?” Jean-Luc said, the thought coming to his head just now as he helped her stand back up and rubbed her back in circles again as she leaned on him, beginning to breath through another contraction.
Beverly looked up at him briefly, again making noises as she blew out. She knew that the vibrations of her voice would help relax her pelvic muscles and help with the labor process. “Jack was born here,” she said finally when she was able to speak.
“Here? At Starfleet Medical?” Jean-Luc was surprised.
Beverly nodded, “Ohhh….,” she cried out, another contraction coming closer than the previous ones had been. She turned around and headed for her bed, squatting down in front of it. She began swaying and moaning, feeling definite movement of the baby moving down. “Owwww,” she cried, “Jean….,” she said, calling him to her. Jean-Luc came to squat behind her, putting his arms around her waist.
“That’s it, my love…breath…,” he encouraged.
Beverly blew out a breath, a growl escaping as she snapped, “I am breathing!”
Jean-Luc knew it was normal for laboring women to be a bit snappy during labor, so he merely kissed her shoulder and stayed silent as she continued to breath.
“Can you go get someone? I think she’s coming,” Beverly said after that contraction had ended.
“What? Now?!” Jean-Luc asked, helping her stand up.
“Go now,” Beverly nodded, walking to her bed and leaning over it.
Jean-Luc didn’t want to leave her, but also knew someone needed to be told that their little girl was coming, “I’ll be right back.”
Beverly nodded, another contraction coming on. As Jean-Luc left, she began making her usual sounds, breathing and swaying a bit.
Jean-Luc was back quickly with a nurse, and Dr. Graham followed shortly after who took out her tricorder and did a quick scan.
“Yep, that little girl is almost here,” she confirmed. She turned to the nurse, “Go get a couple warming blankets.”
“Yes, Doctor,” the nurse said rushing out to retrieve the blankets.
“Not much longer now, Beverly,” Dr. Graham said, “On the next contraction, you can start pushing.”
Beverly wiped her hair out of her face and nodded, “Finally,” she said, letting out a tired but happy laugh.
“You’ve done so good,” Jean-Luc said, coming to stand behind her, kissing her neck.
Beverly leaned back into him, “Mmm…,” she smiled, then cried out, “Oh…owww….,” she nodded, “I need to…,” she said, squatting and holding onto the bed.
Jean-Luc squat behind her again, holding her as she began pushing. “Breath, Beverly…don’t hold your breath,” he reminded her.
“Uhh….stop telling me….to breath…..,” she cried, “Ow ow ow….,” she moved one of her hands from the bed and felt down between her legs, and tears started coming down her cheeks, “I feel her head.”
Jean-Luc kissed her, “You do?”
Beverly nodded, “Uh huh….Oooo….,” she felt another contraction and started pushing again, “owwwwww….ohh…,” she cried as the baby’s head emerged from the birth canal. She leaned back onto Jean-Luc and took her hands and reached down, turning the baby as she pushed once more, holding the baby under her shoulders as she slipped out.
The room was filled with the unmistakable sound of a newborn’s cry. Jean-Luc’s eyes brimmed with tears as he watched Beverly take their daughter into her arms as she lowered herself to the floor, feeling exhausted but so happy.
“You did it,” Jean-Luc looked over her shoulder, his voice choked with emotion. “We have a child.”
Beverly looked down at the tiny life she held, tears of happiness streaming down her cheeks. “We have a daughter,” she corrected, her voice filled with wonder.
“She’s beautiful,” Jean-Luc said, “Like her mother.”
Beverly smiled, leaning back into his embrace.
“Let’s get you up and in bed,” Dr. Graham said, smiling down at the new family, “Jean-Luc, would you like to cut the cord?”
Beverly looked up, shaking her head, “Not until after I’ve delivered the…,” She allowed Dr. Graham to take their daughter while Jean-Luc helped her stand up.
Feeling the afterbirth contractions, Beverly squat again and pushed, delivering the placenta shortly afterwards.
“Are you alright?” Jean-Luc asked, noticing all the blood.
Beverly nodded, “Yes…that’s normal, Jean-Luc.” She walked to the bathroom, the nurse in tow while Dr. Graham handed Jean-Luc the laser scalpel to cut the umbilical cord.
When Beverly returned from the bathroom after getting cleaned up, Jean-Luc was sitting in a chair by her bed cradling their little girl. She climbed into bed and he put the baby in her arms. Dr. Graham left to deliver another baby, leaving them alone to bond.
“Hello Sweet Girl,” Beverly said, kissing their daughters head. The baby had been wiped down while she was getting cleaned up. She had bright red hair, and blue eyes that more than likely would stay that way. She was almost a clone of Jack when he was a baby, except for the hair.
Jean-Luc leaned down, kissing Beverly’s forehead, then gently kissing the baby’s tiny hand. “Welcome to the world, little one,” he whispered.

Jack and Sidney walked into Starfleet Medical Paris, their hands intertwined, as Jack led them to the receptionist’s desk. “Hello, what room is Beverly Crusher in?” Jack asked, his voice filled with anticipation.
“And you are?” the receptionist inquired, looking up from her screen.
“Her son, Dr. Jack Crusher,” he replied confidently, “And this is my wife, Sidney.”
The receptionist’s eyes softened as she checked the records. “Room 402. The elevator to the Fourth Floor is down the hallway to the left.”
“Thank you, kindly,” Jack said, nodding gratefully as he led Sidney towards the elevator.
The elevator ride felt endless, the anticipation building with each floor. When they finally reached the fourth floor, they walked briskly to room 2 and knocked softly.
“What took you two so long?” Jean-Luc asked, coming to the door with a mix of impatience and relief.
“Shh…Jean-Luc, use a soft voice,” Beverly corrected from the bed, gently rocking the baby in her arms to keep her from waking up.
Jean-Luc raised an eyebrow, his concern shifting to curiosity.
“Well?”
Jack and Sidney exchanged a sheepish glance. “We fell
back asleep,” they said in unison, a hint of a smile playing
on their lips.
Jean-Luc couldn’t help but chuckle softly at their honesty.
“Just let them in, Jean-Luc,” Beverly said, looking up from her little red-head with a tired but radiant smile.
Jean-Luc nodded and stepped aside to let them enter. “Come meet your sister,” he said, his voice now a gentle whisper.
Jack’s face lit up with joy as he approached the bed, getting his first glimpse of his sister. “Oh, she’s a beauty,” he said, smiling warmly at his mother.
“Thank you, Jack,” Beverly replied softly.
Jack glanced back at his father as he sat beside his mother. “What’s her name?” he asked, his curiosity evident.
Jean-Luc and Beverly exchanged a loving look, both smiling.
“Nouvelle Aube,” Jean-Luc said, moving a piece of his daughter’s hair out of her eyes.
“We call her Elle,” Beverly added.
Jack’s smile grew even bigger. “New Dawn…such a perfect name!”
Jean-Luc’s expression softened as he gazed at his daughter, his heart swelling with pride and wonder. “Just like a new dawn, she brings light to our lives, chasing away any shadows,” he whispered, his voice filled with emotion.
Beverly nodded, tears of joy glistening in her eyes. “She is our light, our new beginning,” she said softly, kissing the top of Elle’s head. The warmth of her daughter's tiny body against her own brought a profound sense of peace and fulfillment.
Jack and Sidney stood nearby, their hands intertwined, watching the scene with smiles on their faces. “A new dawn brings promise,” Jack said, his voice filled with awe. “It’s a reminder that every day is a chance to start over, to be better, to love more deeply.
A New Dawn was indeed beginning, bringing light to their lives and dispelling any darkness that had come before. As the family gathered around Beverly’s bed, the room was filled with a peaceful sense of completion and new beginnings. Little Nouvelle Aube, cradled tenderly in Beverly’s arms, was a living testament to their resilience and love. Her name, New Dawn, symbolized not just the start of a new life, but the beginning of a fresh chapter for the entire family.
