The gods were staying for the campfire so they could see the confession. As everyone sat down and started talking with each other, it was clear everyone was having fun.
Jason on the other hand was very nervous and just waiting for the right time to sing the song to Leo. Everyone knew what was going to happen but made sure to hide it from Leo.
Multiple people went on including Leo and Piper but finally it was Jason’s turn. He walked on stage and grabbed them mic looking nervous. Everyone was super excited, and Leo was just smiling at him encouragingly.
The music started and Jason saw his friends pushing Leo to the front as he looked really confused. Jason takes a deep breath and starts singing “You’re insecure. Don’t know what for. You’re turning heads when you walk through the door” Jason starts shyly.
“Don’t need a dragon, to cover up your talents” Jason sings changing the lyrics a bit to match Leo. As he keeps singing he gets more confident “being the way that you are is enough. Everyone else in the room can see it, everyone else but you” Jason smiles at Leo
“Baby you light up my world like nobody else! The way that you tinker gets me overwhelmed” Jason winks and Leo flushes realizing what was happening. “But when you smile at the fire it ain’t hard to tell. you don’t know, you don’t know your beautiful! If only you saw what I can see” Jason continues.
Jason smiles softly “You’ll understand why I want you so desperately!” He could hear a soft gasp most likely from Leo. The gods were watching with smiles or shocked faces about a son of Jupiter confessing to a Son of Hephaestus, but Jason didn’t care… he only cared about the little fire boy in the front row.
“Right now I’m looking at you and I can’t believe! You don’t know, you don’t know you’re beautiful!” Jason says bending down and offering his hand. Piper pushes Leo and he grabs Jason’s hand letting Jason pull him on stage.
“That’s what makes you beautiful” Jason sings softly rubbing his fingers over the burn scars on Leo’s hand. “So c-come on, you got it wrong” Jason smiles twirling him making him chuckle. “To prove it right I put it in a song”
Jason pulls Leo closer and Leo looks away. Jason chuckle “I don’t know why you’re being shy. And turn away when I look into your eyes.” Jason grabs his chin and turn him to look at him. They look into each other’s eyes as Jason continues.
“Everyone else in the room can see it, everyone else but you!” Piper sings the next line teasingly joking about there blindness. Leo glares at her but then turns back to Jason. “Baby you light up my world like nobody else! The way that you tinker it gets me overwhelmed! But when you smile at the fire it ain’t hard to tell!”
Jason pulls him closer grabbing his waist “you don’t know, oh, oh, you don’t know your beautiful!” Jason sings softly. Leo smiles softly and sings the next verses “If only you saw what I can see, you’ll understand why I want you so desperately” Leo sings softly making Jason’s head flutter as Leo blushes.
“Right now I’m looking at you and I can’t believe, you don’t know, you don’t know your beautiful” They sing together as Jason spins Leo. “That’s what makes you beautiful…” Leo sings and touches the scar of Jason’s lip.
“Na na na na na na, na na na na. Baby you light up my world like nobody else, the way that you stare gets me overwhelmed. But when you smile at the stars it ain’t hard to tell… you don’t know, oh, oh… you don’t know your beautiful” Leo sings softly holding his cheek.
The song ends and the two just stare at each other “that what makes you beautiful” they both sing softly finishing the song. Leo smiles softly “so you actually like me?” He asks flushed
Jason grins and nods “I do…” as they stare at each other lovingly the campers start to cheer and chant. They look over at them and hear them chanting ‘kiss! Kiss! Kiss!’ Jason looks back at Leo “only if you want to” Jason says thought it was obvious he wanted to kiss him.
Leo wraps his arms around Jason’s neck and kisses him as Jason grabs his waist. Jason was caught off guard for a second but quickly kissed back and the campers erupted in cheers. When they finally pull back Leo places his head on Jason’s chest.
“Love you repair boy…” Jason says kissing the top of his head.
Leo smiles “Love you to sparky”
