Work Text:
Lunella and Casey had been dating for months now. And they were pretty damn good at hiding it. Or so they thought.
“Are you two dating?” Mimi asked so bluntly that being hit by a giant hammer would've been more subtle. The two girls were at a loss for words. “Mimi, what are you talking about?” Lu said, trying to play dumb. “You know what I’m talking about,” she said with a mischievous look on her face. Mimi had been watching the two flirt for months on end.
“Mimi we are not dating,” Casey said, trying to keep her voice steady. Mimi had a hard time believing that and raised an eyebrow in response. “Really?” She stated, still not believing the girls. “Alright,” Mimi said as she left, winking. As soon as she was gone, Lu and Case breathed a sigh of relief.
“That was close,” Lunella said. “Yeah, how did she know we were dating?” Casey asked. “I think we’ve been hiding it pretty well,” Lunella said. She failed to realize that their relationship had been obvious to anyone with eyes. From their flirting to their incessant blushing. Still, it was a mystery how Mimi had come to the conclusion they were dating.
Devil chimed in with his humble opinion. “What do you mean that we’ve been obvious?” Lunella asked. “Well Lu, it’s not like we’ve been subtle about our relationship.”
“In what way?” Lunella said. “Remember when I was at your house for dinner and we grabbed the salt at the same time and blushed?” Lunella responded yes and realized they might not have been as secretive about their relationship as they had wanted.
“Okay okay, so maybe we’re not as sneaky as we like to think.” Lunella said bashfully. Casey snickered and said “That’s for sure.” and kissed the girl on the cheek.
