"fWhip!" Sausage called out, his cheery voice sounding through the forge. "Are you in here?"
"Yeah!" fWhip replied, not looking up from his project as he soldered two wires together.
"What are you doing?"
Now, if he had looked up, he might've noticed how Sausage's eyes were red instead of blue, or the smirk on his face.
But he didn't, instead replying while he tested the small machine.
"Just tinkering," he said.
Suddenly, there were hands on his shoulders, pulling him backward. He dropped the soldering iron, cursing as the hot metal grazed his arm. "Sausage, what are you-"
"You're coming with me," that distorted and unnatural voice fWhip had come to know as Xornoth's possession spoke.
Everything went black almost instantly.

When fWhip woke up, the first thing he noticed was the restraints around his wrists, rough rope digging into his skin, into the burn the soldering iron had caused.
Then, he noticed Sausage laughing. But it wasn't the laugh he used to hear when they messed with Gem together, no, this was a distorted and evil laugh.
"I trusted you," fWhip spat, struggling against the restraints as Sausage stepped closer. " We trusted you."
Sausage laughed harder. "Aww, you really shouldn't have."
"No, I'm figuring that out, too."
Sausage was holding a sword. That seemed like a detail too important to miss, but fWhip only spotted the glistening metal after about half a minute of struggling.
"Sausage, let me go," he pleaded. "I won't tell anyone about this."
Sausage grinned. "Gem won't listen to us when we told her to stop defying Xornoth. It's time to show her what will happen if she continues to go against them."
fWhip closed his eyes as the sword was raised.
