Eddie’s fingers trailed a little more, dancing across Steve’s stomach, and starting to toy at the skin just under the waistband of his jeans. His other hand let go of Steve’s hip and skirted up over his jeans, up his chest, pausing to brush just briefly over a nipple, before they found Steve’s throat, splaying a soft grip across it. Not enough to do anything but feel weighted and grounding.
“What do you think?” he asked, and his voice sounded mostly calm, but Steve knew him well enough to hear the hesitation, the trepidation that something he wanted was too much to ask, too much to hope for.
