Summary
Zach Chen was used to moving around due to his father’s job. After being at multiple schools, he tends to keep to himself to avoid getting too close to anyone in case he leaves again.
Now seventeen and in his final year of school, his family has decided to permanently move to Little Kilton - a small country town situated in Buckinghamshire.
At first, everything seems normal, until he starts noticing a strange, unusual presence in his house. Although initially convinced that it’s nothing, he investigates and finds a ghost in his loft - a boy named Connor Reynolds. Once learning his story, he sets out to uncover the truth behind Connor’s death.
But as Zach soon learns, investigating unsolved cases can be dangerous, especially when the real killer is still out there and will do anything to stop him from finding out the truth. It also doesn’t help that the more time he spends around his new ghostly companion, his heart grows fonder for him… but he can’t be in love with a ghost, right?
