Summary
Tianlang Jun padded towards the basement steps, eyes already locked on the dull, red light creeping out from underneath the door. With a smile, slowly pulled the door open, mindful of the hinges, and began to quietly make his way downstairs.
The sight that greeted him prompted something hot and dark to stretch in his belly, similar to the languid movements of a predator waking itself from a long nap. Bathed in the dim vermillion light, Shen Jiu lounged on the wide daybed amongst the pillows that Tianlang Jun placed in the basement den shortly after he found out about Shen Jiu’s favorite vice. The red oil lamp suspended from the ceiling tinged Shen Jiu’s usually deathly pallor with a light flush. It wasn't immediately clear to him how long Shen Jiu had been in the basement, but it had to have been at least a few hours if the empty bottle of wine and half finished glass of absinthe were any indication.

Tianlang Jun comes home and finds Shen Jiu in one of his moods. They work it out together.
