Niko walks forward and sees the credit screen the World Machine was talking about.
"Wow!" Niko Exclamed, "Player, you seeing this?" Niko asked.
"Yeah,"
Your mind was on somthing else, will you ever see Niko again after he leaves, or is that it? You dont like the thought, so you put it out of your mind.
"The World Machine said that everyone who got messed up by the squares are back. Maybe you should go talk to everyone before you, y'know..."
You were going to say "leave", but it hurts to much to even think about it.
"Yeah," Niko says in response. "Oh hey, it's the lamplighter!"
You can tell Niko is trying not to think about not seeing anyone in this world ever again. You cant imagine what it would be like to make friends then later know you will never see them again.
Niko greets the Lamplighter and talks to him for a few seconds, but you dont listen to their conversation.
Niko then goes through everyone, greeting them and saying goodbye, but one group Niko says goodbye to catches your attention. It's the children who live in the Ruins, Calamus and Alula.
Before Niko got to them, Alula seemed to be watching Niko closely, very closely. When Niko got to them Alula rushed to him and gave him a "Your ok!" hug. Niko seemed to blush a little to this.
"O-oh hi Alula," he said nervously
"I thought I would never see you again!" Alula says shaking with tears of joy and sadness at the same time.
"It's ok Alula, i'm fine," Niko hesitated,
"But, I do have to leave," he says at last.
"What do you mean?" Calamus asked as he comes over to him.
"I have to go home," Now it was Niko's turn to cry. It was hard to watch, you would miss him alot, but somthing tells you Alula is going to miss him more.
Alula hugs Niko tighter and Calamus goes to pat his back,
"We will be fine Niko," Calamus says, trying to confort him.
"Now you got our sun back, we can live happily."
Niko parts from the hug, says his thanks for the comforting words, and says his final goodbyes. Alula looks ever so sad, but is at least happy the sun is back.
"I'll miss you more than you'll ever know..." she whispers.
"What did you say Alula?" Calamus asks.
"Nothing," she responds.
