can you promise me this

Summary:

At a young age, Wei Wuxian was given 3 gifts: a red ribbon, a silver butterfly, and a red string from a strange man with an eye patch to cover his eye. He keeps these gifts, in the hope that the tall man will someday come and see him again. The question is, when will he visit? And do his peers know about these gifts he was given?

Work Text:

It wasn’t quite dark out as the sun was beginning to set, but a young Wei Ying’s mother was beginning to prep for dinner. Hence, the young boy was outside, picking flowers for his mother, attempting to make a flower crown. Was it silly? Maybe, but he could only hope she would like it. As he was twisting the last stem, he saw the fluttering of crystal like wings, catching him off guard. He couldn’t help looking up, a goofy grin appearing on his face as the flower crown flopping into his lap and lifting his finger. To his surprise, the winged creature landed gently on his left index finger, which made his smile widen even wider.

Before he knew it, the butterfly lifted itself from his finger, fluttering in the air for a few minutes in place, as if waiting and then heading off in another direction. Wei Ying’s smile faded as the butterfly began to take off, despite its pace was slow, he stood up, the flower crown completely forgotten as it fell to the ground and began to mindlessly follow the creature as if in a trance.

The creature was leading him further into a dark forest, and if Wei Ying hadn’t been in such a trance by the silver butterfly, he would know that the sun had set and he should have gone back inside his dwelling as told by his mother. Unfortunately, he didn’t notice. He only noticed the pretty creature who was leading him through the dark forest that consisted of tons of trees.

At some point, the butterfly did stop, but it was in the middle of no where, causing the young boy to shake in fear. He was beginning to regret his decision of following the silver butterfly. He was alone, it was slowly beginning to become cold, but the butterfly remained before him, fluttering as if trying to comfort him. Suddenly, he whipped his head to the side, his heart racing as he heard the sound of chains clanking together, a figure appearing before him. The clanking had appeared to come from the person’s boots, and he seemed to be quite tall. He wore what appeared red robes, a scimitar attached to his hip, and as he got closer to Wei Ying, he squatted down. Wei Ying then noticed an eye patch that covered his left eye, and he couldn’t help wanting to touch it. Oddly though, he wasn’t scared of the man, despite how scary he looked. Wei Ying blurted out as he wrapped his little arms around himself, “I’m scared. I want to go home.”

The tall red figure’s face seemed relaxed as he slowly brought the younger in for a hug, rubbing his hand up and down his back. He was whispering and telling him how he’d be okay, “Gege will make sure you’re safe.” He kept repeating. Those words were the same words that were repeated as he reassured him, and Wei Ying noticed several of the silver butterflies landing on his shoulders. He pulled away from the tall man.

“Gege, are you the one controlling the butterflies?” He couldn’t help asking. They were quite beautiful, and he liked them very much.

“Of course. Do you like them?” The tall gege asked him. Wei Ying nodded his head quite quickly, a small smile spreading on his face, his fear disappearing at the thought of the butterflies. He did think they were quite pretty, hence why he couldn’t resist following it. The tall man picked him up, setting him to sit on his knee, a slight smirk appearing upon his face, “I’ll tell you what. You tell your gege your name, and I’ll let you keep it.”

Wei Ying’s ears perked up at the sound of that request. That was all he had to do to keep the silver butterfly? He frantically nodded his head, clinging to his butterfly gege, “My name is Wei Ying, butterfly gege! Are you really going to give me your butterfly?!” He was excited now, watching it flutter above them, its wings brightening up the forest. He could hear a chuckle leave the older’s lips.

“I promised you I would. I will tell you, Wei Ying, most people are afraid of these butterflies. They are know to harm people,” his gege began. Wei Ying listened intently, waiting for the older to continue, “Lucky for you, I’m the one in control of these butterflies. They won’t cause any harm to you, they will protect you. That is my first gift to you.”

First? This made Wei Ying excited. Who knew the butterfly gege would be so kind! Wei Ying really liked the first gift he received. Even though it was a mixture of ‘just for show’ and basically a personal bodyguard, he really liked looking at it. Soon after, the man pulled something out of his sleeve. It was a long, red ribbon. It was about taller than him, but if one were to measure it from the floor up, it would probably meet his gege’s hips. What Wei Ying hadn’t expected was the butterfly gege to reach around him with the ribbon, his large hands bunching up into his black hair and tying up his hair with the ribbon. His gege smiled once he pulled his hands back, admiring his masterpiece, “I was right. Red suits you. Wear red from now on, Wei Ying.”

“Yes, gege.” Was all that slipped from his lips.

His butterfly gege only gave him a smile in response before being out a long red string, staring straight into Wei Ying’s eyes as he grabbed onto his index finger on one of his hands. “Your gege will have to leave you soon, but I’ve left you the butterfly to protect you from danger. Do you want to see your gege in the future?” Wei Ying could only nod his head frantically. Of course he wanted to see him again! He thought he was super cool! On top of that, he could create butterflies! Who wouldn’t want to see someone like that again? The tall gege nodded his head slowly at his hands began to tie the red string around Wei Ying’s index finger, and then his own. “This string will help your gege find you. You got that?” He asked as he set him down on the ground. Wei Ying just nodded. The butterfly gege ran his hand through the youth’s hair, sighed as he stood up, “I have to leave. Stay here. Be good, Wei Ying.”

Wei Ying’s eyes widened in panic as he began to walk away. He wanted to chase after him as he was lost, but he had been told to stay. All that he had left was the butterfly that lit up the forest, and he suddenly felt the breeze of the cold air once again, causing him to wrap his arms around himself again. He was shivering, and he couldn’t help looking up to the butterfly that fluttered above his head.

“Wei Ying! Wei Ying!” He heard from the distance, which made his ears perk up. Someone was looking for him. Maybe the butterfly gege came back! He began rushing towards the sound of the voice calling for him. “Wei Ying!”

“Gege?” He cried, and then he stopped as he realized the voice he came upon was the panicked voice of his mother. His smile faltered while the silver butterfly floated behind him. His mother’s gaze seemed to land on the creature the second he came into her field of vision, and she rushed over to him, hugging him close to her as if to shield him.

“Wei Ying, how long has that butterfly been following you?” She asked him.

Wei Ying wasn’t really sure how to answer this question because technically he had followed it first. But he figured she just wanted the answer to her question, not the other part, so he just gave her a big toothy smile, “Not too long! It’s a gift from the gege in red!”

“Gift? What do you mean by gift?” Wei Ying’s smile faded once more. She didn’t seem happy with his first response.

“He gave it to me since I liked it so much. He told me that it normally hurts people, but this one’s different and will protect me.” His mother seemed to look up to the creature, her body seemed tense, but seemed to relax slightly at those words.

“Is that what he said to you? That the butterfly would protect you?” She asked.

“Yep! He gave me two other gifts too!” Wei Ying showed her the ribbon keeping his hair up, “He gave me this ribbon! It’s pretty isn’t it? He said there was nothing special about it, he just liked it.” He then proceeded to point to his index finger which should have contained the red string, but it wasn’t visible. “He tied a red string around my finger too, but I think it must have fallen off,” he frowns.

His mother grabbed his finger, trying to inspect it as well, letting out a huff clearly not seeing anything either. “It’s probably still there, we just can’t see it. If this… uhm, gege said he is going to protect you, Wei Ying, make sure to never betray him in any way. Who knows what he’ll do to you, and I don’t want to see you hurt.” She stroked his cheek.

Wei Ying shook his head, “Don’t worry! Butterfly gege would never hurt me!”

Nine years later

“Are you coming?” Jiang Cheng yelled, pulling a stumbling Wei Wuxian towards Cloud Recesses. The silver butterflies had increased in number today, surrounding the boy with about ten. They typically would do that the second he decided to touch a jug of alcohol, and when they had arrived to Caiyi town, Wei Wuxian couldn’t help himself and bought some Emperor’s Smile. The second he touched the jug, the butterfly that had only been one increased to ten. Did he know better than to provoke it? Yes, he did. The Jiang’s had always told him to try and make sure not to make other sects notice it as they wouldn’t take as kindly to it and try to harm it or him. When he had found out they increased rapidly when he drank, he wasn’t exactly… thrilled. It’s not like he was a light drunk. Jiang Cheng snatched the jug from his hand though, pouring it onto the ground, and the butterflies quickly dwindled to four, “See? Even the weird butterflies think you shouldn’t be drinking! And you can’t drink in Cloud Recesses anyways!”

“Butterfly gege, you, and now Cloud Recesses! I really can’t catch a break!” He exclaimed.

Jiang Cheng scrunched his face as he started to drag Wei Wuxian towards Cloud Recesses, “I really think it’s weird how you call that butterfly ‘gege’…”

Wei Wuxian wrapped his arm around Jiang Cheng’s, laughing, “I’m not calling the actual butterfly gege, Jiang Cheng! I’m calling the gege watching me ‘gege.’ At least, I’m pretty sure he’s watching me.” He unconsciously began to scratch at his index finger which should have the red string tied to it.

“Well, whoever he is, Father and Mother said to keep a low profile with these butterflies. So try to stay out of trouble. I really don’t want these things to cause havoc because one of the Sect Leaders is trying to give you a punishment for god knows what.” Jiang Cheng only groaned once they reached the outside of Cloud Recesses, looking up at the wall of three thousand rules. “Forget it. Go home. You won’t survive an hour in here. Either you’ll embarrass the sect or you’ll injure someone severely.” Wei Wuxian could only snicker, while his four butterflies that circled around him fluttered up and down, seeming as if they were trying to play off innocence.

Soon enough, they showed their invitation to the sect members out front, and were then shown to their room for the time being. The second they arrived to their room, Wei Wuxian sat down on his bed, a smirk spreading across his face as he whispered to the silver butterfly, “Gege, do you think you could look for some easy spots for me to sneak in and out so I can get some more wine?” The silver butterfly didn’t seem to move for a second, but three stayed with him, while one split off, leaving the room. That made him smile. The butterflies didn’t always obey him since they weren’t necessarily his. They were basically his bodyguards even though he really didn’t need them as much anymore, but the extra protection is definitely a plus because they’ll catch things he doesn’t. But since they were his mini bodyguards, you’d think he’d get a say in his own protection, right? Wrong. If his butterfly gege thinks he’s in need of protection, they attack like no tomorrow. And sometimes they’ll attack people who aren’t even a real threat to him if they’re not careful. The thing that convinced Wei Wuxian that his gege was watching him through the butterfly though was every time he was in a situation where the butterflies would split off to harm someone who wasn’t a threat, he’d tell the butterfly that he was okay and he’d have to show off his unharmed skin. But when someone attacked or injured him and he tried to calm the creature, the attacks only got ten times worse.

Jiang Cheng was on the other side of the room, unpacking his bag, scoffing at the other. “Get unpacking. We have a long day tomorrow.”

Jiang Cheng hadn’t been wrong either, unfortunately. Even though Jiang Cheng was up before him, it wasn’t him who woke Wei Wuxian up, it was the butterflies bright wings, flying right above his face. Of course my alarm clock is going to be a butterfly , he thought to himself. As he blinked his eyes a few times, the creature took this as an indication that he was waking up, and began to make a distance between the two. Wei Wuxian sat up, blinking once more before reaching out for his red ribbon and tying his hair up with it. He was a bit sluggish getting ready as he didn’t exactly like being up this early, but he somewhat was able to function. Somewhat being the key word. He was certain he was going to flop down on his bed and sleep his heart away once they came back here though, that’s for sure.

Wei Wuxian followed after Jiang Cheng though once they were ready, strolling into the classroom which contained a good number of other students. He looked around the room as he was being pulled down to sit next to Jiang Cheng, and he couldn’t help whispering to the other as he pointed at the male sitting all prim and proper with the forehead ribbon, a stern look plastered on his face, “Who’s that fuddy-duddy?”

Suddenly, Wei Wuxian felt a hand hit the back of his head as well as a curse come from Jiang Cheng’s mouth right after it had happened. He looked over to the hand the other male was grasping, a fresh scratch painted across, causing Wei Wuxian to shrink as he apologized for his mini bodyguards. Jiang Cheng only shook his head as he finally answered the boy’s question, “That’s Lan Wangji. Be careful around him. He’s a huge stickler for the rules.”

Wei Wuxian sighed, then looked over to the butterfly hiding in crevice between his neck and his hair, “At least I have you, gege. You’re never a kill joy.” He was pretty sure the butterfly was trying to lay low because otherwise, Wei Wuxian was pretty sure it would be fluttering all over the place in joy. Soon enough, Lan Qiren arrived, and class began. The man was going over all three thousand rules, and just listening was too much for Wei Wuxian. He could feel himself beginning to dose off. It really didn’t help how early they woke up!

“Wei Wuxian,” he heard, and it caused him to dart up quicker than he had dozed off, his eyes had even shot wide open. Everyone’s eyes were on him, but he just smiled at the attention as he waited for Lan Qiren to hand it to him, “Are you able to recite the last 3 rules I just read off just now?” Should I risk it and ask gege for help or should I just admit I fell asleep? It was a strange ultimatum for Wei Wuxian, and he was trying to play out the better scenario where no one got hurt. And in the end, the only victorious one in the end was of course gege’s butterfly.

He whispered softly in the hopes no one could hear, “Gege… can you help me?” He watched the butterfly begin to slowly move away from his arm, but he heard the sound of hands slamming against a table, which made the butterfly return to its hiding place. Wei Wuxian flinched, looking over to the source of the loud noise and it wasn’t Lan Qiren, but Lan Wangji.

“You were asked to recite them yourself. No asking for help.” That fuddy-duddy heard that? Who else heard that? He turned to Jiang Cheng, whose face looked red with anger, but he could only mouth to him, Did you hear what I said, too? The boy’s brows scrunched, but shook his head.

Lan Qiren seemed to be looking down at him, waiting for his response. Maybe I could just list 3 random ones I read from that long ass wall. What’s the worst he’ll do to me? Since his gege couldn’t help him, he did just that, and the face of Lan Qiren… well, it wasn’t pleasant. It was as if smoke was coming out of his ears. He watched the older pick up a book, aim it at Wei Wuxian. Despite ducking, it didn’t really matter at that point. It was his first day and he’d already messed up big time, and even worse, he’d been unable to lay low as he was told to do. As the book was flying towards him, over fifty butterflies split from the one hiding in his hair, swarming towards the book which had been thrown at him. Before everyone’s eyes, the book was no longer even a book, the butterflies turning the item into a paper version of confetti. Wei Wuxian’s eyes widened though, watching more butterflies split, creating more as they charged for Lan Qiren. He panicked. He didn’t know what they would do to him and he couldn’t help feel water filling his sockets as he screamed at the creatures, “ Gege! No! Please! I’m okay! I promise! You saved me! I’m not harmed at all, please don’t hurt him!”

At that, the butterflies reluctantly backed down, dwindling slowly until there were only four that hovered around Wei Wuxian’s shoulders. Everyone’s eyes were staring straight into his soul as he wiped away his tears and looked at the ground. One of the butterflies tried to perch itself under his eyelid, knowing it was trying to help wipe his tears. Lan Qiren stood up, and was the first to speak, “Wei Wuxian, did you just call those things gege?”

Wei Wuxian looked up at Lan Qiren, not sure if he should answer honestly or not. He turned over to Jiang Cheng, looking for an answer. The other just rolled his eyes, and he took that as he didn’t have a choice but to tell the truth. “Not necessarily. I was calling the gege who controls them ‘gege.’ I’m not one hundred percent if he can hear me, but he can definitely see me.”

This didn’t seem to make Lan Qiren’s expression improve, it only got redder with anger. “How long have you had these creatures, Wei Wuxian?”

Wei Wuxian was hesitant to answer this question. He felt this would anger the teacher, and maybe make more students stare at him, but he answered anyway, “Nine years. A very tall gege gave them to me as a gift. He told me that most people are scared of them because of how dangerous they are, but they would never harm me.”

He then heard a voice, it was calm, and caused Wei Wuxian to look up to see it was the fuddy-duddy, “Crimson Rain Sought Flower is protecting you, but what is the price you are paying him back?”

Wei Wuxian was about to answer Lan Wangji’s question, but he was thrown off by the title and his eyes turned to adoration as he tried to pet one of the butterflies with his index finger, “My gege goes by Crimson Rain Sought Flower? He just gets cooler by the second. I’m getting chills.”

Lan Qiren’s voice seemed to boom, “Cool?! You think he’s cool?!”

Wei Wuxian flinched at that, but he recovered quickly as he nodded quickly, pointing at the fluttering creature, “Well, he has these butterflies that protect me. From what I remember, his sword was pretty cool. What I really remember the most was how much I wanted to touch his eye patch, but never got the chance to,” Wei Wuxian pouted at the memory, but his eyes brightened as he spoke once more, “But gege promised me we’d meet again!”

He heard Lan Wangji speak slowly, “Shufu, he’s been brainwashed.”

That’s when they all heard a scoff from the corner of the room. Everyone turned their heads, a young man dressed in red, his hair tied up like Wei Wuxian’s, and his legs kicked back as he takes in the scene, “I’m pretty sure he could have decided to dislike Hua Cheng a long time ago if he really wanted to. He just doesn’t seem like he does.”

Wei Wuxian focused on the boy who seemed to be about his age. He wasn’t wrong either. He had multiple times when he wanted to just cut off his gege because it felt wrong , but he couldn’t because he was the only person who has truly ever looked out for him. How could someone cut off someone like that? He looked up at the red clad boy, “Hua Cheng?” He asked.

He only smirked, clearly amused, “Your gege’s name. But I’d imagine he’d be upset if you called him anything but ‘gege.’” Wei Wuxian looked down, then looking over the classroom while everyone stared at him. He had a feeling in the pit of his stomach, and he really wanted to confirm if he was right.

He knew they were in public, but he couldn’t help himself, “Since you seem to know my gege so well, tell me why you think he decided to protect me.”

Wei Wuxian watched the red clad boys face fall, and he awaited his answer in anticipation. “I don’t know. Y… He probably couldn’t resist himself.”

It was such a short answer, but Wei Wuxian wasn’t going to push.  How can I even try to figure out if he’s my gege? If he’s not actually him, it’d be disrespectful to my gege. He really couldn’t shake the feeling though. “Enough of this nonsense. Wei Wuxian, leave my classroom and head back to your dorm. I’m sending you home. I can’t have you corrupting my other students with this talk about the Crimson Rain Sought Flower.” Wei Wuxian looked up at the elder, but he stood up, following the instructions he was given. The second he left the classroom, he heard a huge commotion, which made him turn his head, but the red clad man came out swiping his hands together as if he had dirt on them.

“Don’t worry, Wei Ying, I took out the trash for you.” He started and began twirling what looked like a black flute in his right hand. Wei Wuxian stared at the red clan man, and he never truly got his name, but he figured he was about to give him it which is why he never asked. He was eager to find out, and he was truly hoping his assumption was correct. He offered his hand to him, his eyes soft, “Would you possibly like to go to Ghost City with your gege?”

Wei Wuxian’s eyes brightened, a big toothy grin appearing on his face as he crushed the other boy into a hug, “Gege! I knew it was you!”

“So is that a yes?” Hua Cheng asked.

“I’ll follow you anywhere, gege, as long as you’ll have me.” Wei Wuxian answered. The ghost king soon enough rolled a pair of dice, and it was as if they had been teleported to another location. The younger looked at his surroundings, it was full of collected items, but all he noticed was the bed, which he gladly flopped onto, “They had me get up so early, gege. On top of that, they made me read all their boring rules! How is someone supposed to stay awake for that?!” He could only hear a chuckle as his body is lifted up to press against a warm chest covered in red fabric. Wei Wuxian could even swear he felt a pair of lips press against his forehead.

“You don’t need to worry about that now. You can sleep as long as you wish when you’re with me.” Hua Cheng reassured. Wei Wuxian slowly moved his hands to grip onto the latter’s forearms, looking upwards into his, well, eye. He noticed he had transformed into the skin he had used when he had met him when he was a child. This must be what he actually looks like.

Wei Wuxian finally did what he wanted when he was a child, lifting his hand up and gently touching the eye patch before moving it downwards back to his forearm to start, “Gege, can I be honest with you?”

Hua Cheng ran a hand through the younger’s hair, it was repetitive, which made Wei Wuxian’s stomach flutter. His breath hitched as he admitted to the ghost king, “I probably wouldn’t have stayed as loyal as I have been if it wasn’t for the fact… I… I think after you having protected me for all these years and remembering your face so well, it’s all I thought about. You don’t have to accept my confession, but I just…”

Hua Cheng pressed a finger to his lips, raising a brow as he leaned a bit closer to his face, “Are you rambling because you’re afraid I won’t reciprocate your feelings for me? Wei Ying, I don’t offer my protection without a reason.”

Wei Wuxian’s eyes widened, “Did you…?”

Hua Cheng shook his head, “Not at the time. I felt ashamed for accidentally leading you into the darkness alone. As the years passed by though, I’ve grown… a little too fond of you.”

Wei Wuxian couldn’t help smiling and taking that as an invitation, pushing the older man against the bed, positioning his legs so that they’re trapping his hips to the mattress beneath them, his hands pressed to his chest. “That’s more than enough for me,” he answers, leaning forward and planting a soft kiss on Hua Cheng’s lips. Wei Wuxian would admit, he was expecting the older to be shocked, to lay there like a dead fish while he initiated this kiss. But instead, he stay there for say, a minute, before absolutely taking control of the situation.

He felt two hands cradle his hips as the kiss was deepened, and Wei Wuxian was the one widening his eyes in shock. The ghost king’s eyes on the other hand were completely shut, letting his passion take over. Wei Wuxian saw this, and it made him relax and shrink into the kiss, letting the older man take the control he clearly wanted. And just like that, he felt Hua Cheng’s leg intertwining with his own as he began to relax into the kiss, their knees pressing close together. Wei Wuxian realized quickly he shouldn’t have relaxed as quickly as he did. It was clearly a trap as the ghost king took the initiative to flip them over only using his legs, pinning his arms helplessly above his head as he attacked his swollen lips once more. Wei Wuxian could feel his cheeks turning a bright red, but it truly didn’t matter despite the position they were in currently. He couldn’t help rubbing his legs together, trying to rid himself of the stiffness between his legs. Do you think he’s experiencing the same thing? He couldn’t help wondering. He let his right hand wander lower as they kissed, a tongue shoving inside his mouth once he reached the older’s abdomen, a whimper escaping his own throat. But he couldn’t forget his mission. He snuck a hand inside the ghost king’s inner robes, searching for his shaft, upon finding it, he was not disappointed one bit. In fact, it was much harder than his own, and he couldn’t help palming him through the cloth as he separated from the kiss, a string of saliva following from the separation. He couldn’t help smirking as he looked the ghost king in the eyes, “Can I suck you off?”

He watched Hua Cheng’s eyes darken, but he returned his smirk as if to challenge him, “If you take off all of your clothes.”

Wei Wuxian looked at him amused, “Are you taking yours off?”

Hua Cheng popped his lips as that sardonic smirk never left his face, “Nope. Just you.”

Wei Wuxian cursed under his breath, but nonetheless, began removing his clothes from his body. As he was fully unclothed, he lifted the ribbon to show the latter, “Must I take this off too?”

Hua Cheng waved his hand, “Keep it on. I can only hold so much of your hair while you suck me off.”

Wei Wuxian raised a brow, but got down on his knees before the older who was sitting on the bed in a relaxed position, leaning back. The younger had climbed onto the bed, his knees planted on the right of Hua Cheng’s legs, his body arched as he let his fingers slip into the older’s inner robes, removing the hardened length. The younger had never done this before a day in his life. In fact, he had been pretty sure he was straight, but for the ghost king? He’d gladly throw all of that out of the window. He lowered his head, letting his tongue slowly circle around the tip. He did this repeatedly for a few seconds, hoping to get some type of response from the great ghost king. Unfortunately, that didn’t seem to be the case, so he let his tongue drag down the shaft, doing slow repetitive motions. Up and down on the right for twenty seconds, up and down on the left for twenty seconds, and repeat. He kept doing this, but all he was getting was an amused smirk from the older, and Wei Wuxian knew he was not going to win this battle trying to tease this man. He let his tongue slowly drag back up the shaft before wrapping around the tip, allowing his tongue to circle around it repeatedly once more, still he only received an amused smirk from the older. Am I really not going to win this? I’ve got to win something . He moved his head down further, feeling fingers wrap their way through his hair as he slowly bobbed his head up and down along the length. An idea suddenly appeared in his head, and he looked up at the older, a slight smirk appearing on his face. Well, at least as much of a smirk he could make with a dick in his mouth as he quickened his pace of bobbing his head along the ghost kings length. He could slowly see him beginning to come undone, his erection beginning to pulse in his mouth, and before he knew it, the hands in his hair forced his mouth off his pulsing erection, replacing the right hand that gripped his hair with his left, then shoving two fingers from his right hand inside the mouth that had just been sucking him off, coating them with as much saliva as physically possible, before shoving them out. After having removed his fingers, the ghost king shoved his head back on his erection, using his left hand to help him bob his head at a controlled pace. But what he did next is what made Wei Wuxian not only make his eyes widen in shock, but squirm.

Hua Cheng slowly pushed those two fingers covered in his saliva in a place Wei Wuxian didn’t know could be used like that. His bobbing had slowed down despite the help he was receiving from the elder, trying to get used to the feeling of the fingers inside of him, slowly pushing in and out of his entrance. Hua Cheng seemed to notice his own shock though, pulling his fingers out, lifting his head off his erection, and pinning him to the bed once more. Wei Wuxian couldn’t help himself as the elder began to spread his legs, slowly pushing those fingers inside once more, “You know gege, I never knew this was a thing. If I had, I probably would have been doing this a long time ago.” Hua Cheng’s fingers stopped in place, before thrusting forward, causing Wei Wuxian to grip on to his shoulders, “Gege, be gentle! I’m a dainty little virgin, you know?” Hua Cheng only shook his head, thrusting his fingers forward at that same slow pace, leaning forward to press a kiss on his lips, keeping the pace as he deepened their kiss, but Wei Wuxian pushed him back a tad, breathing heavy, “Gege, if you’re planning to stick your dick inside, can you hurry up?”

Hua Cheng raised a brow, adding a third finger, causing the younger to gasp, clinging closer to the elder. Hua Cheng chuckled as he began thrusting the three digits, “Be patient, Wei Ying. You’re not ready yet.” The ghost king gladly kept a slow pace as he kept thrusting in and out with those three digits, but Wei Wuxian only attempted to spread his legs wider, hoping that would help.

“Come on, gege! I can take it.” He tried. Hua Cheng denied his request, thrusting his digits until they hit a sweet spot, a moan escaping Wei Wuxian’s throat. The younger couldn’t handle all this teasing, and if this ghost king was going to tease him, he might as well too, right? “Hua Cheng! Crimson Rain Sought Flower! You’re right. I don’t think I can take it.” That’s when he saw the older’s eyes darken, and the digits were removed, one of his ankles being held tightly in his grip as he felt a foreign object lining up with his entrance. Wei Wuxian felt the tip enter slowly, and he couldn’t help biting his lip as heart beat faster in nervousness. How could he not be nervous? This was his first time! And fingers are much different from a dick! Once a good portion was inside, he felt the body above him lean down, planting a soft kiss on his lips before moving his hips backwards, then forwards. It didn’t take long for him to get used to the length inside him though, and once it was fully inside, Hua Cheng began to quicken his pace once Wei Wuxian relaxed, wrapping his legs around his gege.

Once Hua Cheng got into a decent rhythm, Wei Wuxian could feel his heart beating fast, tightening his grip around the other. He was so overstimulated, receiving kisses everywhere possible from the ghost king, getting pounded into aggressively, his own erection stiff, begging for attention, all he could whimper. His nails dug into Hua Cheng’s back, tears beginning to flow down his face as he cried out, “Gege, please.”

Hua Cheng lifted his face, stopping mid-thrust, looking into his eyes with a wide smirk plastered on his face, “What is that you want. Tell you gege.”

“I want to cum, gege. Please.” He whimpered.

Hua Cheng replied with a sharp thrust, causing Wei Wuxian yelp, “I never said you couldn’t cum. Go right ahead.”

“But could you…please… touch me, gege?” Wei Wuxian begged.

Hua Cheng didn’t answer, he only lifted his body slightly, keeping a steady pace while he reached his hand down to begin jerking the younger off. Before they knew it, they both came together. After, Hua Cheng fell over to the right of him, pulling the latter to his chest, burying his face in his hair. “Don’t ever leave me, Wei Ying. Can you promise me that?”

Wei Ying looked up at him with a smile, leaning up to place a kiss on his lips, “I already promised that I’d follow you anywhere, gege. You’re stuck with me.” They shared one more kiss, before falling into a deep sleep.
