Summary
Among the terrain of black pines, there’s a patch of land left untouched by devils. A sanctuary for the lost and weary who need their hopes rekindled after the great disaster. Everyone is welcomed - as long as you will attend the hourly services, obey the almighty elders, and punish the sinners.
For years, Steve and Eddie have longed to escape. Steve because he cannot stand the hypocrisy that indoctrinated his mother, Eddie because his careful life as a transgender man hangs thinner by the thread. When their collaboration brings their escape plan into motion, the two men barely celebrate their freedom before the cursed wilderness starts laying its sights on them. Now Steve and Eddie have to scour for a benevolent refuge before their unborn child is brought into this vicious world.
