Work Text:
The next morning, Kiyoomi woke up alone. He looked around. This was not his room, and then he remembered last night. He was in Keiji’s room.
I feel the lavender haze creepin' up on me
Kiyoomi looked around the room, it was so clean. Of course, it was– it was Akaashi Keiji’s room, after all. Kiyoomi hated how perfect Keiji was, because even the room smelled amazing.
Kiyoomi walked out of the room and headed for the bathroom. He has been to this house a few times. Atsumu drags him to every high school reunion that they were invited to. Keiji already had a toothbrush ready for him, and then, when he looked in the mirror, he realized he was shirtless.
‘What the fuck?’
Kiyoomi was a guy who sleeps without a shirt, so he didn’t know why he was surprised. His neck was covered in marks. Kiyoomi might be going crazy, getting marked up by a guy he absolutely despised.
Kiyoomi walked out of the bathroom and went to the source of the voice. Keiji was talking to someone on the phone.
“Yes, I got home safe yesterday. … No, I wasn’t drunk.”
Keiji was wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants, he also had marks on his neck. Kiyoomi went behind him and hugged his waist. Keiji looked over and smiled, his left hand coming to hold Kiyoomi’s face.
‘Surreal’ Kiyoomi is certainly going crazy because what is he even doing?
“Kiyoomi took me home … Yes, Sakusa Kiyoomi.”
Keiji was still on the phone. Kiyoomi took the phone away a bit so he could see the contact name. It was Bokuto on the phone. Kiyoomi started kissing his cheeks.
“You’re coming over? Why? … Huh okay, I'll be home.”
“Hang up,” Kiyoomi whispered.
“I have to go, Koutarou. See you later.”
Keiji hung up and placed his phone on the counter.
“Are you this clingy with Atsu?”
“Yes.”
“I feel bad for him.”
“No wonder why I hate you so much.”
“Sure you do.”
After they finished eating breakfast, they decided to sit on the couch. Keiji on Kiyoomi’s lap, facing him.
“Why are you not leaving?”
“I don’t want to.”
“Koutarou is coming.”
I'm damned if I do give a damn what people say
“He’s a coward.”
Keiji laughed.
“He said he's been in love with me since his second year in highschool.”
Kiyoomi was playing with Keiji’s hands.
“And he still didn’t ask you out?”
“No.”
“See? Coward.”
Keiji just kissed him, and Kiyoomi kissed back. They kiss without a care, only the two of them matter at the moment. Maybe they like whatever they are doing so much because it would mean nothing when they get their partners back.
No deal, the 1950s shit they want from me
They pulled away to catch their breaths. Keiji’s hands ran through Kiyoomi’s curls when Kiyoomi started kissing his neck.
I just wanna stay in that lavender haze
“You smell good.”
“Kiss me again.”
Kiyoomi quickly connected their lips again. Keiji smiled through the kiss.
But they pulled away when they heard someone clear their throat.
I find it dizzying
Keiji looked at the person with flushed cheeks. Koutarou was here. He completely forgot that he gave spare keys to him. Kiyoomi looked over at Koutarou when he saw that Keiji wasn’t saying anything. He smirked before pulling Keiji closer.
“You didn’t tell me he was still here,” Koutarou said, visibly annoyed.
“You didn’t ask,” Keiji said.
“Don’t worry, I’ll be leaving.” Kiyoomi said, but he had no intention of letting Keiji go.
They’re bringing up my history
“Does Atsumu know you’re doing this?” Koutarou questioned.
“He was the one who told me to go out with people while he’s overseas,” Kiyoomi replied.
“Maybe you should pick someone else.”
“Maybe you should man up.”
Keiji flicked Kiyoomi’s forehead, but kissed it after Kiyoomi said a small ‘ow’.
But you aren’t even listening
“Stop instigating and get dressed.”
Kiyoomi picked Keiji up by the thigh and placed him on the couch so he could go to the bedroom.
After Kiyoomi got dressed, Keiji walked him out. Koutarou watched the two very closely.
“Does he have to watch your every step?” Kiyoomi said quietly.
“Why are you having problems with him?”
“He started it.”
“You’re like a child.”
Kiyoomi wrapped his arms around Keiji’s waist.
“What are you doing?” Keiji said.
“Getting my goodbye kiss.”
“He’s watching.”
“Even better.”
Kiyoomi kissed the other, and Keiji's hands cupped his face. They pulled away, and Kiyoomi made eye contact with Koutarou before looking at Keiji again.
“If you’re still available after today, call me.”
Keiji looked at him with a disappointed look. He gave Kiyoomi a peck.
“Yeah yeah. I will, but you should leave now.”
“I don’t like that asshole.” was the first thing Koutarou said when Keiji closed the door.
