Summer 2011
The Electric Mayhem were about to embark on their first world tour, with The Muppet Show ending they had to choice but to go on a tour. At least, that’s how the band explained it.
“What’s a tour?” Asked Stevie.
“To rock and roll in several different places.” Floyd put it simply.
“Oh. Can we bring our friends?” She inquired.
“Not this time, Songbird.” He replied.
Stevie frowned. “When will the tour end?”
“Whenever our auras confide in each other, then we’ll like know it’s time to end the tour.” Janice explained to her daughter.
Stevie had no idea what that meant, but she suspected the tour would be going on for a long time.
“I need to call my friends.” She decided before getting up from the couch and heading to the telephone.

The Next Day.
Stevie had called over every friend she and Animal had to have the most amazing Last Day of Summer ever! She invited Scooter, Skeeter, and Summer. Gonzo, Rizzo, and Pepe were busy causing chaos somewhere. Stevie, Animal, and their friends were all out in the woods near by their clubhouse. Skeeter had brought a small portable camera, which the siblings had never seen before.
“What’s that?” Stevie asked her, pointing to it.
“It’s a Canon Camera.” Skeeter told her.
“Canon? Go boom?” Animal asked, starting to get excited.
“No, not that kind of canon Animal.” Skeeter corrected him.
“Oh.” He said, disappointed.
“It’s a Canon camera.” She said, opening it to reveal the screen.
Stevie had only seen the big cameras they used to film The Muppet Show.
“And you can film on there?” She asked her.
“Yep.” She said, turning it on.
“What did you bring it for?” She then asked.
“To document our last Summer together.” Skeeter said with a smile.
“What should we do first?” Stevie wondered.
“Explosions.” Animal suggested.
“No, Animal. Our parents don’t let us blow things up anymore.” She reminded him.
“Humph.” Animal huffed.
“How about the YMCA? The outside pool is still open.” Summer suggested.
“Oo yes!” Stevie exclaimed.
“Canon ball!” Animal cried, throwing his hands up in the air.
“I didn’t bring my trunks.” Scooter said.
“You idiot, (Skeeter hits him over the head. “Ow.” He mumbled.) I always tell you to wear your bathing suit under your clothes.” She said, lifting her shirt up to reveal her bathing suit underneath.
“Daddy will let you borrow one of his trunks.” Stevie told him.
“Fine.” Scooter said before heading to their house to go ask.
*
“CANON BALL!” Animal shouted before jumping into the pool.
Stevie laughed as Animal’s jump splashed everyone in the pool.
“Thank God, this is water proof.” Skeeter said with a chuckle.
“What does water proof mean?” Stevie asked her.
“It means it’s safe if water hits it.” She explained.
“Can you film with it underwater?” She questioned.
“Yeah!” Skeeter confirmed.
“Could I film underwater?” Stevie requested.
“Sure!” She accepted, handing her the camera.
Stevie slipped underwater with the camera in hand. She did backflips and front flips, hoping she got it all on camera. She came back up for air, giggling. “That was awesome!” She expressed.
“It will look cool on film.” Skeeter said, taking her camera back.
Splash! Stevie gasped, immediately turning around to see who the culprit was. There behind her was Animal and Summer.
“Look, it wasn’t me I swear.” Summer said, holding her flippers up in defense.
A smile crept to her face, her hands went underneath the water and with a flick of her wrist.. splashed the water at both Animal and Summer. This then lead to a splash fight between Stevie, Summer, Skeeter, and Animal. The splash fight was so intense it even got Scooter who had been sitting on the edge of the pool.
“Hey!” Scooter cried, taking his glasses off to dry them.
“Oh, Scooter don’t be such a baby and get in the pool!” Skeeter said before pulling him.
“Ah!” Scooter yelled, almost dropping his glasses. “Skeeter.” He scolded.
Skeeter laughed and splashed him in the face.
He growled before putting his glasses on the edge of the pool. He narrowed his eyes at her and then started to splash her.
The splash fight continued on for about ten minutes until a lifeguard whistled at them to stop. This was their cue to leave the pool.

Now, they were walking back home through the woods with ice cream in hand. Animal didn’t know how to eat his ice cream without mostly wearing it all over his face.
“Stevieeee.” Animal said, reaching his hands out to poke her.
“Ew!” Stevie cried, inching herself away from her brother. “You’re covered in chocolate.” She told him.
He laughed.
Skeeter used the camera to zoom in on Animal to prove to whoever was watching how much Animal was covered in chocolate ice cream. It was a mess!
Stevie had stopped in her tracks, realizing how much she was going to miss hanging out with her friends. She wished The Muppet Show would go on for another season, so her family wouldn’t have to go on a long winded world tour.
“I’m going to miss you guys.” She expressed, a tear falling down her face.
“Oh, Stevie! We’ll miss you too.” Summer said, going over to her.
Skeeter and the rest followed.
“We’ll call whenever we can and write to you.” Scooter told her.
Stevie sniffled. “I have no idea where we’re going.” She revealed.
“That’s okay. You know our addresses, so you can still write to us.” Skeeter said, trying to cheer her up.
“This was the best day ever, and I wish it didn’t have to end.” Stevie vented.
“I know, but you’ll cherish this day forever, and we’ve got it on film too.” Summer stated.
“You promise to write and call us whenever you can?” Stevie asked them.
“Of course!” Their friends promised.
Stevie smiled. “We promise too.” She said.
“Group hug?” Animal asked holding his arms out.
“Yes, group hug.” Skeeter said before they all leaned in and hugged.

When the gang returned to Stevie and Animal’s house, Skeeter had stopped Stevie before she entered the garage. “I want you to have this.” Skeeter told her, handing her the camera.
“Are you sure?” Stevie asked.
“Yes. I want you to be able to watch our video, whenever you miss us.” She explained.
Stevie smiled. “Thank you, Skeeter. I really appreciate it.” She said, giving her a hug.
“No problem. Make sure you send us some grooovy postcards.” Skeeter requested, pulling out of the hug.
Stevie laughed. “I’ll try.” She promised.
The door to the house opened, revealing Floyd on the other end.
“Just in time, dinner.” He announced.
“Mama didn’t make it, did she?” Stevie questioned, a hint of worry laced in her tone.
Janice to put it kindly wasn’t the best cook. She’d either burn the food or the food just wouldn’t be edible that they’d have to order a pizza.
Floyd chuckled. “No need to worry, I made it this time.” He assured her.
Stevie sighed of relief, she then turned back to her friends.
“Well, I’ve got to go. It was really great hanging out with you guys today.” She expressed to them.
“Ditto.” Skeeter spoke for all of them.
“Fun! Fun! Fun!” Animal chanted.
“Sure was, Animal.” Skeeter agreed. “Talk to you soon?” She hoped.
“Yes, of course!” Stevie promised.
The friends hugged one last time, before Animal and Stevie went inside their house.
Best Summer ever!
