Work Text:
Barton signed to Coulson, his gestures angry. Walking away, Clint didn't bother to acknowledge his husband's response.
"Tasha, will you please check on him?" Phil asked.
"I don't know if he's coming around," Natasha said. "I don't know what he said, but I've never seen him like that."
"You speak more than a dozen languages," Phil said. "I always wondered why you didn't learn to sign."
"I always thought that ASL was private between the two of you," Natasha said.
"He was so angry," Phil said. "You weren't wrong. I've never seen him like that."
"Give him time," Natasha said. "He can't help himself. He loves you no matter what. Let him lick his wounds. He'll come down from the vents sooner than later."
"Maybe it's time you tell the team," Natasha said. "They're in the training room, so if Doc feels a little green that would be the safest place for it to happen."
"It's okay," Bruce said, "Clint told us.If anyone is turning green it's Tony. He's livid."
"Probably on Pepper's behalf," Phil said.
If it helps Steve's on your side. He said if Bucky came back from the dead he's be over the moon," Bruce said.
