Disclaimer - I don't own Stardew Valley or NetoYome. This was written for the Froday little special for August 2024, where each sentence needed to start with a letter and the next starts with the next letter with the starting point being "y" as that is the first letter of my name.

Work Text:

Yesterday —the memory didn ’t seem like it would fade away anytime soon. Xenial feelings were certainly not left for that person; in Sebastian’s brain, there was a feeling of detachment from others, of not trusting anybody after what happened, his eyes focusing on the computer screen.

Why” and “Why me” played over and over in his head, yet he could never figure out a reason why. Various situations played through his head, and he couldn’t figure out why she decided to stalk him, beyond the fact he’d been nice to her and helped her out in the game and then suddenly she wouldn’t leave him alone, even found out where he lived with his dad, leaving little to no choice—

Unfortunately, you’re going to need to move back in with your mother for the time being,” his father said, not that he cared; Sebastian wanted to get away from her, and it wasn’t as if living with his father’s family, his step-siblings on that side and his stepmother did anything to help the feelings of distrust that rattled around in his head, meaning he wouldn’t argue, and yet—

There existed a part of him that didn ’t want to go back to his mothers, to live with her, thinking he’d be treated the same way under her roof as that of his father. Something kept eating away, telling him this would be the case, perhaps the knowledge that under the same roof was yet another step-sibling, yet another step-parent, and so he needed to—

Relaxing wasn ’t optional after Ako stalked him, nor did he think he’d ever be able to relax again after that scare — and not many things scared him, someone who enjoyed adventuring in the ruins around his father and mother’s homes, which made the whole matter even more unsettling.
