Work Text:
It’s early morning in the city of Seattle.
Sean finds himself shoved deep into a fleet of blankets; his head buried beneath the pillows to shield his face from any traces of daylight. His upper half being the only part of his body exposed to the rest of the world, putting a few of his tattoos on display.
To be honest, one of the things that Sean has missed the most when it came to leaving prison were actual beds, and not the uncomfortable steel mats they claimed them to be. He loved being able to fully strip out of his clothes, and to just flop and disappear into a sea of covers.
He also loved not getting up.
Something that spending fifteen years in prison had taught him as well, that he forgot how much he hated having a strict wake-up call. The relief to finally have his own place to settle down once he left that shithole of a building was astronomical, especially in a place where he wouldn’t need to worry about watching his back so much.
Now, while Sean didn’t want to, his body is starting to pry himself awake. He lets out a soft groan as he pulls his head out of the pillows, lifting upwards as he takes in the atmosphere around him, releasing a deep breath while he blinked his way into vison.
He opens his mouth as he lets out a soft yawn, his eye surveying the red-like atmosphere that had crept its way into the room, as a result of the morning sunlight brushing through the thin, red curtains. It’s a pretty sight to him, actually, giving him a whole new perspective of the room.
It’s peaceful, though. Even while the sun casts it’s burning aura inside, it’s a satisfying preference in comparison to concrete walls and barred windows. It felt fucking amazing to be out of there, once and for all.
Sean’s attention fixes towards the small alarm clock that’s set over the nightstand, the visor mostly black except for the numbers signifying the time.
7:26 AM
Fuck, it’s way earlier than he expected.
Sean lets out a slight groan as he sinks backward into the bed sheets, cursing himself for how his body had forced him to wake up so early. It was going to be a pain now, due to the fact that Sean knew he was not going to be able to fall back to sleep anytime soon. His mind was going to be occupied on the time.
It was a routine habit that he picked up unexpectedly, and the more it happened, it pissed him off with every passing second. He doesn’t know himself on how it started, or why it started, but if the clock was after seven and he woke up, he just couldn’t go back to sleep.
He tries, though, even if it doesn’t work. He tilts back over and sinks his head against the pillow, letting out a groan of discomfort while he shuffled about. He reached downwards to tug the blankets upwards, keeping them at his hip level while he closed his eye.
However, as he tries to force himself to sleep, it seems like he’s not the only one awake.
He feels a pair of arms wrap their way around his body, one reaching up to caress his ab formation, and the other reaching downwards to playfully fiddle with the waistband of his boxers, as if something was trying to pry into them.
Well, someone was trying to pry into them.
Sean doesn’t get to question it as he feels a flurry of kisses trailing up his back, all the way to his neck. He closes his eye less intensely, releasing a quiet moan as he succumbed to the kiss. A wide smile forming over his lips at the pleasuring sensation, his breathing growing calm while he was held.
Fuck, that feels good. Sean can’t resist as his neck is slightly sucked on, his hands reaching upwards to caress the ones that embraced his body. He didn’t expect him to be awake as well, but he wasn’t complaining for the morning treatment.
Although, he decides to have a little bit of fun, smirking mischievously with his eyes closed while he spoke.
“Mmmh,” He purrs out at first, tilting his head to the side to allow more access to his neck. “Come on now, Cass. I’m still tired…”
He feels the caressing and kissing stop, a soft breath fell on his neck. It takes everything in Sean’s power not to laugh at the sudden stilling.
“I’m going to pretend I didn’t just hear that.”
“Wait, you’re not Cassidy!?”
Sean’s amusement is spiked once he feels the hands instantly retract from his body, and the breath is no longer at his neck. Before he gets to say anything, he lets out a soft yelp as a pillow is smacked over the top of his head, that yelp sinking into an amused cackle afterwards.
He quickly lifts his head up, glancing backwards as his eye meets with Daniel. He’s wearing a furious expression, his breathing harsh while he squints angrily to try and figure out why Sean is laughing. Once it settles in, he rolls his eyes with a loud scoff.
“Oh—you—” Daniel’s realization settles in, as he hits Sean’s hip with the pillow now, which doesn’t do anything to suppress his laughter. “Oh my god, you fucking asshole!”
“Holy shit, man,” Sean’s laughter slowly eases as he pulls himself to sit up, exposing his body to the rest of the world. He blinks a few times before looking to Daniel’s direction, who’s putting on a pouty expression and trying not to look towards his direction. “Seriously? Sixteen years later and you’re still stuck up over her?”
“I’m not stuck up!” Daniel hisses back in reply, crossing his arms over his bare chest while he looks towards the wall. “I just—she’s not important, not anymore! I don’t care for her, and I won’t care for her.”
“Oh, yeah, sure,” Sean rolls his eye while he climbs forward, kneeling behind Daniel as he tried to wrap his arms around him, only for them to be slapped away as he hissed like a cat. “Come on, dude—I was just playing with you.”
“You’re being mean,” Daniel mumbles under his breath, and Sean swears he’s heard that exact sentence when he was younger. It reminds him of the days prior to their distance, and it actually somewhat warms his heart. “I wake you up and this is how you repay me?”
“No, this is how I repay me,” Sean corrects.
Before Daniel gets a moment to resist, Sean ensnares his arms around his brother’s body and yanks him back as he falls into the bed. He lets out a yip of surprise, trying to break free from Sean’s grasp while he holds him close, squirming about and groaning in agitation.
“Dude, ugh—!” Daniel whines out, trying to pry Sean’s arms away from his chest. Even then, Sean was still the superior one in strength. “Get off! You’re making me mad!”
“Oh, sure I am,” Sean mocks with a chuckle, leaning forward and beginning to brush his lips against his brother’s collar bone. He’s amused once he hears Daniel’s soft whine, as his squirming begins to cease. “There you go, just relax, little cub.”
Daniel releases a huffy breath as he succumbs to the touch, resting his head into Sean while his lips worked their way into his neck. He can tell that Sean’s amused by it, as a furious blush begins to work over his face once he feels him suckling into his sweet spot.
“Sean,” Daniel breathes out, rather needily as he whines into the touch. Sean’s hands make their way against his chest, softly rubbing at the top of his stomach, getting a slight jolt and jitter at the sensation. “Mmh…”
“There you go, angel,” A relatively new nickname that Sean gave Daniel, but it’s one he doesn’t resist because he loves the way it makes his cheeks to scarlet every time he says it. “See? You can’t be mad at me when I’m affectionate.”
“I can be mad,” Daniel scoffs, but his attitude is tossed out the window once Sean’s fingers threaten to slide into his briefs. “But—not today… I made that promise I can’t be mad at you today.”
“Today, hm?” Sean curiously ponders, running his fingers up Daniel’s lower stomach. The soft, ticklish giggle he lets out as he tries to pull away melts his heart. “Is today a special occasion? Or did you just want to spend it with me.”
“Both,” Daniel answers, turning his head towards Sean to meet his gaze, quietly pondering as he looked towards him. “You—did you not realize what today was?”
Sean quietly thinks for a minute, trying to piece it together on what today would’ve resembled. It wasn’t the anniversary of anything, as far as Sean was aware, so maybe it was something that was important to Daniel?
“I haven’t been paying attention to the dates, to be honest,” Sean chuckles out as he draws a hand away from Daniel, reaching to the nightstand to grab his phone. While he does so, he feels as his little wolf nestles into his chest, waiting to see what’s on his phone. “I’ll check though, maybe it’ll come back to me—”
When Sean powers on his phone, he takes a quick moment to read the date presented. When it hits him, he goes quiet.
Today’s August 15th.
Sean is 33 years old today.
“Happy birthday, Sean,” Daniel says from the side, nuzzling into his cheek. The sensation makes him feel all fuzzy inside, as he holds onto Daniel tighter.
“Holy shit,” Sean says with a heavy huff, setting the phone back down onto the side of the bed, continuing to focus his attention onto Daniel’s body. “I’m becoming a fucking fossil, dude.”
“You’re not a fossil,” Daniel reassures with a roll of his eyes, beginning to roll his hips into Sean’s body. A sensation that stirs a wonderful commotion in his pants, and he leans his head back to let out a soft moan. “You’ve still got some good bones in your body, one that works pretty well if you ask me.”
“I’m sure you think that, enano,” He teases as he reaches his hand downwards, beginning to trace small patterns along his little cub’s thigh, making Daniel softly whine to the touch. “I still can’t believe I’m fucking thirty-three, and here I thought being sixteen was insane.”
“You’ve really come a long way, mi lobo,” He says to Sean with a soft hum, tilting his head towards him to slightly graze the side of his mouth with his lips. “And I’m so happy that you’re here.”
Sean fully turns his head towards Daniel’s direction, reaching forward to lightly cup at his chin to tilt his eyes to meet his. When he does, he takes the plunge and locks lips with him, pulling his body closer.
The kiss is warm, as Daniel lets out a soft moan into it. Sean secures his arm more protectively over his body, pulling him closer as he intensifies the kiss. He can feel Daniel’s frantic, but soft breaths as he tries to fight for dominance.
Suddenly, Sean is caught off guard when he feels his little cub break their touch. When he goes to look up, he notices how Daniel kneels by his side, carefully tossing his leg over his lap to settle down on his groin. Fuck, that didn’t make the need in his boxers subside at all.
“What are you doing…?” Sean growls as he looks upwards to Daniel, who’s leaning downwards to lay on top of him, smiling up with a cocky smile.
“Uhh, sitting on your lap, dude?” Daniel says with a smart-ass-tone, winking to him as he placed his hands by Sean’s shoulders. “Is there a problem with that?”
Sean repeatedly shakes his head from side to side.
“Good, I was hoping not.”
He doesn’t get the chance to respond once Daniel starts to slowly move his hips, pushing his ass into Sean’s groin in a steady motion. The friction sends sparks up Sean’s body, as he tries to contain himself from his soft noises and ultimately fails. His eye half lidded while he gazes up to Daniel.
“Fuck, man,” Sean breathes out as he feels himself slowly moving his hips in reply, and Daniel catches the notion as his blush deepens, continuing to move his body against his big brother.
“Sean, you’re so hard,” Daniel’s sultry tone breaks off at that last part, because it was true. The erection that he had was painful, and he wanted it to be dealt with. It seemed Daniel was on the same page, his own bulge pitching a tent. “My poor lobo, all pent up…”
Part of Sean has the urge to grasp onto Daniel’s hips and flip him over and take control of the entire situation to snuff out his lust. He knows that he could and has half a mind to do it… but he decides to let it settle, continuing to let his enano have control.
“You’re driving me crazy, Daniel…” Sean exhales out his mouth, his eye looking upwards to capture Daniel’s flustered expression. “I don’t know how much of this I’m going to be able to take.”
“Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news,” Daniel’s mind seems to venture off while he lets the last word roll off his tongue a bit longer. “But you might need to wait if you want your prize, Sean.”
Fuck, that’s annoying.
“Why?” Sean realizes that he sounds a little… angry at that fact, and he can tell because of how Daniel falters while on top of him, like a dog’s ears flopping over its head. “Sorry that—that was rude.”
“It’s fine,” Daniel dismisses, his hands reaching forward to rest onto Sean’s chest, trailing small circles into his muscle. “You might need to wait because I… may have a few things planned out for your birthday?”
That’s… something he wasn’t expecting.
The realization that today was his birthday was already something that dwelled a bit differently on Sean, and now to know that Daniel had things planned on his behalf? That’s just another layer to the value of it.
Although, that doesn’t mean he isn’t interested.
“Oh, really?” Sean leans back into the bed, his eyebrow slowly raising as a smirk form over his lips. “Like what, enano?”
“You’ll see, I wanna try to leave at around noon, if that’s okay,” Daniel answers, his hands reaching down to interlace with Sean’s. It makes his heart melt, giving his little wolf a soft squeeze in response. “I think you’re going to like them; you deserve them.”
“Daniel—you didn’t have to do something for me on my birthday,” Sean tries to reason with him, despite the fact on how fuzzy Daniel was making him feel by breaking the news to him. “You’re all I need for it, just getting a birthday wish from you is enough.”
“Yeah, I know, but—” Daniel leans forward, the two’s faces inches apart while they gaze into one another. Sean can feel a slight blush on his cheeks as he smiles up to him. “I feel like it’d be better if I give you a birthday that was worth all the other ones I missed.”
His heart aches when Daniel mentions that last part, because he feels horrible about it himself.
Being in federal prison for fifteen years, forced Sean to harden more than anything else in his life. Even while going through the grief of their father’s death, prison was a completely different experience that he never wanted to go through again.
It was violent, it was hateful, and taught Sean things that he wished he could’ve ripped from his memory. Every day was a test, a test that was worse than the last. It was a constant game of survival, a time so rough that he hadn’t been able to even consider the number of birthdays that had passed.
So, Daniel doing this for him was something that made his heart soar.
“That’s… really sweet of you, enano,” Sean says with sympathy as he pulls his hand away from Daniel’s, reaching up to softly caress underneath his chin. The smile that he gets in response is enough to make their whole discussion worth it.
“I just… it wasn’t fair for you to go through it, so…” Daniel trails off, his smile still in place while he kept his eyes onto Sean. “I’m going to make up for it and allow you to have the best day ever today… or, I’ll at least try.”
God.
He has the best little brother ever, that was enough for him.
“But first,” Daniel purrs as he lifts himself up off Sean’s lap, turning over and sliding off of the ledge of the bed. He stretches his arms over his head with a soft yawn, putting his brief-covered butt on display for Sean. “I’m gonna have to get some things ready, and you need a shower before we do anything.”
Sean is a bit disappointed by the loss of warmth, letting out a bit of a pouty noise while he glances towards Daniel, who’s making his way towards the doorway. He doesn’t know why, but he ends up blurting out:
“You don’t want to go for a morning ride first?”
“I’m going to be doing the driving, it’ll take the surprise away,” The way the point goes over Daniel’s head is almost comedic.
“I wasn’t talking about driving,” Sean corrects, bringing one of his knees up as he adjusted himself on the bed.
He watches as the realization slowly dawns onto Daniel’s face, and his cheeks are instantly stained with red as he stammers for a minute. With a smirk and frustrated sigh, he pulls his hand back to force open one of Sean’s drawers.
“Go get your damn shower,” He chuckles with embarrassment, hiding his flustered face while he steps out the room. “I’m gonna go get things situated, I expect you to be clean by the time I’m back. Dress somewhat reasonably, too.”
“Sir, yes sir,” Sean says with a playful salute as Daniel leaves the room. It’s best not to keep him waiting, so he pushes himself off of the bed, despite the rough erection in his boxers.
He takes the time to go through his items, trying to decide on an outfit to pick up. It doesn’t happen to be relatively cold outside, but it’s not entirely the hottest day he could’ve wished for. Daniel also mentioned to dress reasonably, and that could’ve went for hundreds of scenarios.
Sean manages to satisfy himself with a pair of jeans and a long sleeve white shirt. Grabbing those and a pair of boxers, he makes his way to head into the bathroom, setting them onto the toilet lid while he worked to prepare the shower. Once he makes sure he has the soaps and washes, he twists the knobs to allow the water to come raining down.
He quickly closes the curtain while he steps into the tub, taking the moment to let the hot water run down his face and rinse off any stress from his body. Fuck, Sean was never going to take hot showers for granted ever again, one of the many lessons he had learned.
One thing that Sean liked about showers was while he washed himself off of anything that would’ve picked up, it gave him plenty of time to think to himself as he washed the soap out of his hair.
Adjusting back to the normal life was… different, especially under the newer circumstances that had landed in Sean and Daniel’s relationship.
September would have marked the first year ever since Sean had been out of prison, and even now, he was still recovering from the drastic change. He had forgotten how different things were outside of it, how much more he could’ve let his guard down.
He initially planned to just stay at someone’s place until he was back on his feet again, but when he was greeted by the fact that Daniel had already been aiming to purchase a house, he was almost instantly granted the opportunity to stay with him. Of course, Sean tried to refuse, but his little brother insisted he would stay, at least until he was healthy to be on the road again.
He knew it was logical to probably turn away and go on his own path, but Sean didn’t have the strength to do that yet. He had missed out on so much of Daniel’s life, and he felt like he needed to make sure that he was more stable than himself before continuing with his chapter.
Now the thing was, Sean forgot about that idea when he fucked—screwed—oh, whatever, hooked up with his little brother for the first time.
Sean couldn’t fit the entire situation into here, but he could summarize it.
What happened to be a bad experience that Daniel had during a date with someone that he found interested in, ended up with the two brothers sharing a drink over it. He doesn’t want to go into deep details about it, not now at least.
But if it was necessary, they ended up sharing more than drinks that night.
It wasn’t something he would’ve expected, and he nearly resented himself for it until Daniel had approached him. It sparked a long conversation between the two, as Daniel unveiled this growing attraction for his big brother.
It was a… lot to process. The two actually ended up parting ways for a period of time, with Sean having the house to himself as Daniel would stay at a hotel until the two were able to come to terms again with one another. They swore it was a one-time thing afterwards.
Disclaimer, it wasn’t.
It ended up turning into something that happened more than one night, to happening in the mornings they spent together. To the degree, it became a routine whenever the two had gotten too close to one another.
Sean expected himself to hate it, but he ended up loving every minute that it would happen.
Besides, Sean knew his way around a boy’s body, in more ways than one… In comparison to the guys he quietly fancied and (safely) flaunted in prison, Daniel was worth more than quick cell hook-ups.
Right, where was he?
Sean reaches forward to twist off the shower knob once he finishes washing the last bits of his body, murmuring a tune as he steps out of the tub. He grabs one of the towels from the rack, using it to dry his body off. Judging off the fogged up mirrors, he knows that he was likely in the shower for longer than he expected.
He uses his hand to smear some of the fog from the mirror, taking a look to his reflection. Other than the one-functioning eye, he didn’t look half bad in the morning. Even though, there was a problem, and it was all over the lower end of his face.
Tilting his head, Sean’s fingers lightly brush against his beard, feeling at his hairs while he mentally contemplated. He knew the logical thing to do would’ve been to shave it off, let the rest of his face see the world.
However, someone wouldn’t approve of that.
As a matter of fact, he hears him at the doorway while he’s tying his towel around his hips.
“Don’t you think about it.”
“I wasn’t going to, I swear!” Sean quickly protests, throwing his arms up in defeat to his words. “I was just looking at it, besides, I wouldn’t have cut it all off without telling you first.”
Daniel having a thing for beards was something he found incredibly adorable, and it was the only thing that was keeping him from taking it off.
That didn’t mean he wouldn’t trim it though, every now and then.
“Good,” Daniel says rather cheekily, smiling with pride as he leaves the doorframe, the sound of his shoes heard on the carpet as he walked down the steps. “I’ll see you in the car, whenever you’re ready!”
“On it.”
Sean is a bit confused on why Daniel choses to keep their car at a distance, and he offers to walk through the park.
He doesn’t refuse it though, and the two end up stepping across the pavement and into the park. The two of them slowly walk across the scenery, side by side and pressed against one another. Daniel has an arm wrapped warmly around his side, and Sean doesn’t have energy to fight it.
His eye fixes to meet Daniel’s several times while they walk through the park together, trying to get more out of his expression on what was on his mind. He didn’t seem to falter in the slightest, however, remaining dedicated to not telling Sean about what they were doing.
He tries to break the silence.
“So, what made you want to come to the park?” He curiously questions while he turns his head towards Daniel, who looks back at him with a slightly raised eyebrow. “Something special?”
“I wouldn’t say so, “ Daniel replies with a slight shake of his head, his smile only growing wider while they continued down the pathway. “It’s a pretty day, both figuratively and literally. I thought a nice walk in the park could start off the day.”
Sean lets out a slight ‘tsk,’ but he doesn’t deny it in any way. He continues to trail by Daniel’s side as they step about, and the park actually happened to be barely occupied. There were a few pedestrians here and there, but none of them were focused on the two of them. They were either in sight or distracted by something else.
It was strange, he has to admit.
However, when they’re walking along the path, Sean’s attention is caught by a… somewhat familiar large, white vehicle. It takes a moment for his vision to settle in as he lightly squints, being able to notice the printed decal on the side of the car, managing to spot a few familiar items.
“Holy shit,” Sean says under his breath, catching Daniel’s attention for a moment, who ended up glancing towards where he was looking. “Is that a… is that an ice cream truck?”
“Huh?” Daniel utters as he takes a closer look. “Oh, yeah. It certainly looks like one.”
“Oh, man,” Sean chuckles out, as the wave of nostalgia begins to wash over his body. It had been so long since he had seen an ice cream truck, the last time he did was during the days before school had kicked back up. “I didn’t even know they still existed, I thought they would’ve went defunct.”
“Yeah, it’s crazy,” Daniel giggles while they move down the path, his attention staying on the truck for a bit longer than usual. “I usually see them around here every summer, but mostly when it’s one of the warmer days. Nice to see it still up and running though.”
“I could go for some ice cream, to be honest,” Sean confessed with a slight smile, Daniel’s gaze turning back towards him. “We should probably get some next time we stop at the grocery store.”
He watches as his little wolf’s expression slowly shifts into a sly smile, as he begins to step away from the pathway.
“Why wait?”
Oh, that’s what he meant.
Before he even gets the chance to fully process it, Daniel is already steering away from their walking direction and towards the truck. Out of instinct, Sean’s hand reached forward to clasp onto his wrist, trying to bring him to a stop.
“Dude, it’s okay,” Sean attempts to reassure him, putting on a slight smile while he steals another glance to the vehicle. It was tempting, to be honest. “You don’t have to get me anything, we can also just save our money when we head to the store.”
“But I wanna get it for you,” Daniel says with a bit of a pout, soft eyes full of plead while he looked to Sean. “Come on, you said it’s been a while since you’ve seen one.”
“Yeah, but dude, I’m not a little kid anymore,” Sean tried to reason, glancing around at the other people that were heading towards the truck and leaving. His case wasn’t that good either, it seemed like people didn’t mind. “Going to an ice cream truck when you’re young is one thing, but I’m thirty-three. It’s just—”
“Sean, it’s fucking ice cream,” Daniel breathes out like he had been holding it in for a long time, rolling his eyes at Sean’s statement. “Nobody’s going to think it’s weird, besides, it’s just a nice treat.”
“I know—just—ugh, I don’t know, man? I’ll skip on it for now, honest,” Sean confirms with a slight smile, one that’s not fully reassuring. “I can always just get a—”
Oh, Daniel already walked away towards the truck.
Sean spared a quick look towards him before sighing out, turning his attention away from his brother and the truck all together.
Now, he knew his case was odd, but he couldn’t help it. To Sean, personally, he didn’t think that someone at his age should have been fawning over ice cream of all things. It was just another case of nostalgia, something that he should have gotten rid of a long time ago.
He can’t tell if maybe it’s the prison sentence talking, or if it’s just because he feels ‘old’, it’s still a dominantly grey area for him to fully consider. It shouldn’t have been on his mind, but he couldn’t help it. There was still a lot in Sean’s mind that he hadn’t let go, and he never knew if he would be able to.
It’s something he can fight with himself later, because when he starts paying attention again, he can see Daniel walking towards his direction. Two bars wrapped in white wrapping in his hands, and Sean can’t help but giggle at the slight skip in his step.
He finds it so fucking cute, some things really never changed.
When he’s back at Sean’s side, he instantly hands him the bar, which gets a heavy sigh from him.
“Daniel, you didn’t have—”
“Sean, you were literally going to put your dick in my ass this morning,” Daniel interrupts, rather vulgarly he must admit. “I think that the least weirdest thing you could do, is have ice cream from an ice cream truck.”
“Dude!” Sean’s face goes scarlet at his enano’s words, glancing around to make sure that nobody had heard that. He had had enough awkward conversations before, and today was not the day for another. With a reluctant sigh, he takes the treat from Daniel’s hand. “Ugh, fine, I’ll eat this since you want me to.”
“Good boy,” Daniel cheekily smiles as he pushes his popsicle out from the wrapper, shooting a wink towards him as he drags his tongue across its tip.
Okay, yeah, the sight makes Sean’s mind go there.
He stammers to himself before continuing on his walk with Daniel, slowly tearing the wrapper to see the type of treat that he had bought him. It’s one of those strawberry Éclair Bars, and while it wasn’t his original guess, it wasn’t one he was going to miss out on.
When he brings the treat to his lips, Sean almost melts at the sweet taste. Fuck, okay, it was really good… and it seems like off of the cocky smile that Daniel is giving him, he was aware of that too.
“Okay, fine,” Sean submits, letting out a slight groan. “You got me, enano. It’s good.”
“See? What did I tell you?”
After their trip to the park, the two take a few minutes to survey the area around them while they drive. Sean’s attention is on the phone while he tries to find local places that he wants to visit to pass the time, because according to Daniel, something was planned for later today.
Sean has a little competitive spike in his attitude, so after going through a few options, he offers a ‘friendly’ game of Miniature Golf at a local course. Daniel thinks about it, but ultimately he accepts the idea.
After all, it was his birthday, so that meant that his luck could have been through the roof. It was best to try and test it out.
Sean is losing, unfortunately.
Now, he hadn’t played much in years ever since he had left the old life behind, but he was still somewhat convinced that he happened to have his initial skill during the previous times. Only for that all to be down the drain, as the two are pretty much neck and neck.
Daniel, however, happens to be in the lead by a few points less, wearing his cheeky smile during each hole. He’s either getting the exact par or he happens to be one over or under it, with not in between or extended time.
There was no way this was possible.
“You have to be cheating, this is ridiculous!” Sean exclaims with a bit of agitation as he fetches the ball from the terrain cup, carrying it as they made their way towards the next piece of the map.
“I’m not cheating, I’m just talented,” Daniel giggles with a slight sway of his hips while he settles his ball down onto the tee mat, positioning himself as he angled down the club against the ball. “Just watch and learn.”
Safe to say, Daniel happens to know what he’s talking about while he aligns the club before hitting into it. The ball tosses itself across the green in a steady movement, the speed working to roll over the lumps and edges of the course. It ends up landing a few feet away from the dip, and he turns back to give Sean his signature smile.
“See?”
“Yeah, okay, we’ll see about that,” Sean challenges, rolling his eye as he tries to copy Daniel’s position, adjusting his grasp onto the club. “I’m gonna kick your—”
Suddenly, the club in his hand moves to the side, making an adjustment of how it’s lined against the ball.
“Daniel!” He scolds, turning his head sharply to the side. It catches his attention, as he slightly lowers his hand in response. “Dude, we’re in—”
“Oh, calm down, Sean,” Daniel groans out, waving around his surroundings. “Nobody’s even looking, I was just helping you adjust your aim.”
“Still, just—” He can’t really fight it, letting out a soft sigh as he looks downwards, taking advantage of the new adjustment. “Fine, okay, just—am I doing it right?”
“Yes, now all you’re gonna want to do is hit it gently,” Daniel explains while he steps by his brother’s side, motioning his hand towards the ball. “You don’t want to hit it too hard that it’ll miss the target or fly out the field.”
“Do you really think it has the strength to fly out of the field if I hit it hard enough?” Sean asks.
“If you hit anything hard enough it can fly out of a field.”
Fair enough.
“Alright, dickhead, let me try this,” Sean scoffs with a slight chuckle, fixing his grip onto the shaft of the club. With a deep breath, he takes a minute to quietly calculate the force of his swing, his tongue brushing his lips in concentration.
Once he makes the swing, he’s actually impressed once the ball goes soaring across the terrain, moving in the sort of a zig-zag pattern that’s similar to how Daniel’s had moved. Although, he was a little bit behind when it had finished rolling.
“Not too bad, mi lobo,” Daniel compliments with a purr, taking a few steps forward to step behind his target, aligning his club back with the ball.
It’s at that moment Sean gets an idea.
Right while Daniel is preparing his swing, Sean takes a step forward to wrap his arm around his waist, pressing his chest against his back. He leans upwards to lightly breath along their ear, trailing downwards to nuzzle and kiss into his neck.
Daniel lets out a shy gasp when Sean does this, leaning back into the touch out of instinct. Once realization settles in, his eyes widen incredibly and he tries to pull away, but Sean doesn’t let him. He tightens his grip, growling noticeably into his neck.
“S-Sean!” He can feel the blush on his enano’s face, judging off how he stilled while holding the club. “There’s people around—”
“Oh relax, Daniel,” Sean breathes out, mocking the same phrase that Daniel had told him when he had psychically flaunted with his aim. “Nobody’s even looking, I was just helping you adjust your posture.”
“Oh, hah… right,” He stammers with embarrassment, remaining in his brother’s loving grasp while he looks downwards, trying to carry on with his golfing process. Sean knows better, however, and he’s able to tell how he’s losing focus as compared to earlier.
When Daniel goes for the swing, he happens to fall right into Sean’s trap, and he instinctively bucks his hips forwards to falter his aim. The noise Daniel lets out is so fucking adorable, as he quickly steps forward to pull away, looking towards where the ball had rolled.
He made Daniel miss his shot, almost entirely.
“See? That wasn’t—”
Sean’s ball moves backwards drastically, several feet away from where it initially stood.
“Dude!”
“Must be the wind,” Daniel replies with a wink, returning back to their game.
The game actually ends pretty well, and Sean doesn’t manage to see the card that tracks their score.
Daniel, however, swears that they are tied.
Sean doesn’t believe it, but he ignores it since it’s his birthday.
The last place that Daniel supposedly has in mind is a nearby restaurant that’s in town.
The aesthetic of it is very fancy, from the outside at least. Reviewers also made these claims that the service was very nice, and that the interior designing was quite satisfactory. Although, they were just getting out of the car, so he couldn’t have a definite assumption on it yet.
“Don’t tell me this is one of those places where they’re gonna clap for my birthday,” Sean asks with a bit of worry, physically shuddering at the memory. “I remember dad and Karen took me to a restaurant once where that happened, and it scarred me ever since.”
“It’s funny you say that,” Daniel lets out a soft giggle while he locks the car, sliding the keys into the pocket of his pants while he walked to the entryway. “I made sure that they wouldn’t do that, can’t embarrass my hermano on his thirty-third.”
“Yeah, that’s my job,” He teases while taking a step forward, reaching to pull the entrance’s door open for Daniel. When he does, he gets a glimpse at the interior, and he’s pretty sure that he knows this visit is going to be expensive. “Oh, that’s—”
“Thank you,” He remarks before Sean gets to comment on the building’s aesthetic, stepping forward and into the lobby, to which he follows in shortly afterward.
And fuck, he’s right.
The aesthetic interior is a lot different than the outside, with accents of black, gold, and red across the entire building. There’s many patterns and murals that happen to be near the lobby, each holding significance of some sort as it correlates to the romantical theme.
He notices that there’s also a decent sum of bouquets and floral designing to go around, accompanied by the warm and dimmed lighting. The aura inside feels different, but not in a bad way. In a, oh this is actually very romantic kind of way.
Which brings him to question as he glances to his brother, was he aware that the place they had chosen was a romantic restaurant?
It makes his heart feel soft at first, but it’s quickly rejected once he makes a further realization. They’re in public, two brothers at a romantic hotspot wouldn’t be a good sign, especially with how the two were already acting earlier.
Daniel, however, is quick to break him from his trance.
“Our table is this way,” Daniel gestures, to which Sean follows while taking a gulp that he, thankfully, doesn’t notice. He only nods his head in reply, following him and the server out.
Daniel seems to have picked a booth that was rather distant from most of the other patrons, but still close to the small wooden dancefloor that was center to the area. It catches Sean’s attention, as he’s able to spot a few lovebirds embracing and swaying with one another.
Fuck, yeah, it’s very romantic to be here.
When the two get settled in, Sean eyes Daniel as he gives a soft smile back towards him, reaching to grab the menu from the table. He hesitantly does the same, continuing to look around for anything that he should’ve taken note of.
He really didn’t know how to feel about being here with Daniel, and it was growing obvious.
Which is why he tries to talk.
“This place is very romantic, enano,” He confesses as he slowly picks up the menu, taking a quick glance downwards. They have a wide variety of cuisine for the duo to select from, which Sean had expected. “Are you sure that you booked the right place?”
“I’m positive, it’s not my first time here,” Daniel answers a bit dismissively, waving his hand to the side. “It’s better that I’m spending it with you, actually. I know it might not be your top pick, but I wanted it to be somewhere special, you know?”
Sean couldn’t argue with that.
When the waitress arrives, she introduces herself politely and offers for the two to get their drinks. With Sean going first, he decides to test his luck with a White Russian, to which they happen to have in store once they check his ID. He then wonders if Daniel might get something small.
…until he orders a glass of red wine.
Small was out the window by now.
“You know, the wine here is pretty expensive, enano,” Sean mentions while he takes a second glance at the menu, peering through its contents while he decides on what to get. “You sure you can afford any of this?”
“I made sure I can, Sean,” Daniel answers with another wink, peering over the menu as he keeps a warm smile over his face. “I worked my ass off to make sure I could get enough to spend here, especially on special occasions.”
“Special occasions?”
Daniel shrugs, letting Sean fill in the blanks.
“Well, for special occasions, I would’ve just let you take me to somewhere small, you didn’t have to save up or spend—” Sean tries to convince him otherwise, but Daniel is quick to interject the conversation.
“I know that you would’ve let me take you somewhere small, but I didn’t want to,” Daniel explains, lightly leaning forward and lowering the menu so he could see Sean more properly. “Tonight is… special, I want to make it feel like it was worth every last minute… for you, Sean.”
Sean hates to admit that it makes him feel all warm, and it actually threatens to cast a blush onto his face.
“Daniel, there’s many ways that I think you could have spent money for my birthday that I would be amazed for, no matter how small,” Sean says truthfully, his smile meeting Daniel’s. Now it was his enano’s turn for his cheeks to turn red.
Although, Sean ends up adding.
“I do have to say though, a romantic restaurant wasn’t the thought I would have had on my mind.”
Now, to Sean, it doesn’t sound like anything from his end, considering the fact that before anything, Daniel was his brother.
However, he regrets everything he says once he sees how Daniel quickly looks up at him with semi-wide eyes. His lip is slightly trembling as he sucks in a deep breath, trying to keep himself from faltering.
Oh fuck.
“What do you mean?” Daniel is trying to keep himself sturdy, attempting to play off the meaning of Sean’s words. He wants to speak again, but he doesn’t know if it’s the right thing to do.
Yet, he does it anyway, for some fucking reason.
“You know, most people take their brothers out to see a movie, or… something smaller, like the things we were doing earlier,” Sean says, his mind rambling off while he traces his fingers into the table below. “I get that the place is nice, but, I thought that maybe you would’ve preferred… different.”
“Different?”
“Daniel, it looks like we’re on a date.”
That might be the dumbest thing Sean said in a while.
He realizes it when he sees how Daniel is nervously glancing away, avoiding any eye contact and trying to spot the servers instead. It’s a feeling that sends a tinge of guilt building in his stomach, unable to process the helpless expression on Daniel’s face.
“I’m gonna be right back,” Sean declares, pushing himself up to stand.
“Sean—”
“Just to the bathroom, little cub, I’ll be back,” Sean doesn’t spare a second look at him while he makes his way into the restroom in a bit of a hurry, trying to avoid any glances or people that would have looked into his direction.
When he arrives, he follows a pace that feels like déjà vu, with how he stops in front of the sink and looks at himself in the mirror. He uses this time to think, reaching to turn the faucet on to splash his face.
Everything was going so good, until it wasn’t, and he couldn’t tell why.
That was a lie, he knew why.
Sean’s mind was going in the complete opposite direction of the entire day, even after he had spent his morning and time with Daniel teasing him in more ways than one. Now, for a whole date like moment for the two to spend, it had to remind him to push onto the breaks.
Sean admired Daniel for making these efforts, he really did, but how was he certain that they were only for his birthday? He could feel like an advance was being made on him, and he didn’t want that to end up being the case.
Like he mentioned, Daniel was his brother at first.
…
Wait a fucking minute, what was he doing!?
Just earlier today, Sean had Daniel clasped onto his chest and kissing all over his neck like it was the last time he was going to see him. He was basking in the aftermath with him after the night prior, which he would argue was even more intimate.
They had done so much, gone through so much both before and after Sean’s sentence. He had went through hell, Daniel had went through hell…
Sean looks up to glare up at himself as he comes to the terms of realization. Did he really just leave his brother out there like a fucking stranded date?
With a shake of his head and a heavy sigh, he twists off the faucet and pulls a few paper towels to wipe his face clean. He has an urge to fight and scream at himself in the mirror for being such a fucking idiot. This was the last thing he would’ve wanted.
That’s why he hopes he’s not too late when he’s walking out of the restroom, returning back to the table to his little brother.
When he gets there, he sees Daniel quietly staring into the distance behind him, looking aimlessly at the other couples and people that happened to be spending their time there as well. He’s also able to notice that both of their drinks are there.
Well, one of them, as Daniel’s glass was already empty, only slight stains of red at the bottom of the glass.
“Did—did you down your drink?” Sean asks as he slowly slides back into the seat, reaching forward to take his own glass and bring it towards him. “That’s actually really impressive.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Huh?”
“It was stupid for me to bring you out here, I don’t know why I thought you’d like this place,” Daniel mutters a bit low as he turns over to fully face him, his chin falling into his hands while he sat his elbows on the table. “It won’t happen again, I’m sure of it.”
“Daniel…”
“I just wanted to get away from him, come back here completely anew.”
Fuck, this hurts to hear.
It makes sense, he has to admit. That relationship that Daniel had had prior to their… changes, was something that he cherished for it to be his first. So, he makes the correct guess that Daniel was brought here in the past.
“Daniel, it’s not your fault…” Sean tries to reason.
“I’ll ask for the check when the waitress comes back.”
No, that’s not what they’re going to do.
“No,” Sean dismisses, reaching over to take Daniel’s hands into his, pulling him away from that train of thought. “I don’t want to leave, not without eating at least.”
He takes a deep breath, looking to his enano’s confused expression before continuing.
“It’s my birthday, right? You want it to be the best for me?” He asks to which Daniel replies with a firm nod. “Then, we’re going to spend it here, if that’s what you think is going to be for the best… Also, it’s just not fair to spend so much money and not put it to use.”
Daniel seems unconvinced at first, assumed by how he ponders while looking towards Sean. He can see the uncertainty in his eyes, until he gives another nod.
“Okay, if you say so.”
He can’t hide the smile he grows when he hears those words.
The dinner is romantic.
Yeah, that word has been used a lot in many instances, but it’s different when it comes to the two brothers.
The first thing Sean does after they order, is take one of the flowers from the table vase and tuck it behind Daniel’s ear. It leaves him in a flustered state, and Sean ends up leaning forward to lift his chin up, just so he can get a look into those shy brown eyes.
It was amusing to him, how even at twenty-six, he still maintained that shy attitude when he was considered a pup. It always made Sean feel comforted, safe, which was ironic considering the fact he always considered himself to the protector of the two.
When they receive the food, Sean wishes he could have brought a sketchbook with him. Daniel’s pondering and thinking states are so photogenic to him, and he wishes he was able to capture the moment. He knew he could have taken a picture, but it wouldn’t have felt the same.
Once they finish and settle down, Sean gets a few minutes to quietly appreciate his brother’s beauty in the dim light of the restaurant. It doesn’t help his previous case at all, but it becomes a more noticeable thing as he takes all of it in.
That’s when he gets the idea, reaching over to fix Daniel’s rose.
“Come on,” He says, standing up from the booth and reaching downwards to take Daniel’s hand, slightly pulling him upwards to stand.
“But—we didn’t pay yet.”
“We’re not leaving, we’re gonna dance,” Sean explains while he slowly steps forward, giving Daniel’s hand a squeeze while he slowly walked towards the dance floor. Daniel doesn’t need to say anything, only reluctantly following his pace.
While they step towards the dance floor, Sean can feel his little cub freezes up once a song begins to play through the speakers. It has a pop-like beat, but the song has this acoustic tune and haunting aura to it, and it sounds like there’s a lot of tension in its rhythm.
As for the song, it’s one that he doesn’t recognize in particular, but one glance at Daniel tells him everything he needs to know.
“You know this song?” Sean asks while they stepped onto the floor, where a few couples are both either enjoying their time in embrace, or watching others do the same.
“I used to listen to this song when I was still in high school,” Daniel giggles as he takes a few steps forward, repositioning himself in front of Sean. His hands slowly crept up to his neck, while Sean’s reached for his hips. “It used to remind me of someone.”
“Who’s that, little cub?” Sean winks.
Daniel leaves the question hanging in the air while he accepts the embrace. Once the two find the right moment, both of their bodies slowly guide each other in their footsteps, making sure to seclude their own spot from the rest of the couples.
It’s a soft, warming dance of intimacy between the wolf brothers. Daniel’s shoes lightly clicking against the wood below, as Sean moves his body to keep himself close. He’s not risking the two pulling away while they bond to the melody.
Sean can see in Daniel’s expression how much he’s enjoying it, how his head will tilt from side to side while he closes his eyes, humming to the tune. Sean can’t help himself asking, leaning forward to whisper into his ear, the one that holds the rose.
“Sing it for me?”
Daniel looks at him with a bit of confusion but smiles warmly while continuing to glide across the wooden floorboards. He seems to wait for the chorus, adjusting his arms over Sean’s neck as he leans forward, whisper-singing the lyrics up to him.
“They shake their heads, sayin’ “God, help her,” when I tell them he’s my man…” Daniel quietly murmurs up to Sean, his weight shifting from hip to hip as he tilts himself to the melody. “But your good lord doesn’t need to lift a finger…”
Fuck, Sean loves that tone. The look in Daniel’s eyes is doing wonders to Sean’s body, in ways that he doesn’t want to reveal to the public of all people. It actually makes him take a quick glance around, making sure nobody was getting suspicious of the two boys.
I can fix him, —
“—no really, I can,” Daniel adds on to the song, his smile remaining in place as he brings himself to lean closer to Sean’s ear, whispering in a tone vastly different than the lyrics.
“And only I can…”
Sean knows that they’re taking it too far, especially for a case like this. So, he leans back to whisper into Daniel’s ear, in a tone that’s riddled with lust.
“Let’s go home, enano.”
When the two arrive back home, Sean suggests that the two could watch a movie for the night, which Daniel accepts.
Truth though, he has no plans to watch the movie he’ll throw on. No, not after what had just happened in that restaurant. Sean was done playing around and letting things echo across his head, tonight was the night.
Although, he might watch it for just a little while, just to allow everything to build up between the two.
Sean had finished up changing and settled down into the living room, getting a few spare blankets and pillows ready across the couch. He makes sure not to overdo it, so the two could’ve taken the important matters elsewhere than the living room.
He knew Daniel a bit too well for that to happen.
“Hey, Sean?” Daniel calls from the kitchen, while Sean’s flipping through the films that were present and available on Netflix. “Did you find the movie yet? Or are you still looking?”
“Oh, I found it, enano!” He calls back for his little brother with a soft smile, leaning back into the couch as he pulls the blanket upwards. “Everything good out there?”
“Yep! Just give me one second to…” He quietly ponders off, and before Sean knows it, he sees the lights flick off. “Alright, there.”
Right when Sean wants to question it, his attention is brought to the distant silhouette and the growing light in the distance. It confuses him at first glance, until he notices the smell of candle wax, and the soothing scent of flames.
Turning his head, he sees it. Daniel slowly walking into the room as he carries the birthday cake in his hands, concentrating to make sure that he doesn’t accidentally drop it while he moves towards the coffee table. Several candles are scattered across the top of the cake, and Sean can see his name written through frosting.
“Daniel…” Sean whispers in awe, watching as his brother settled it down onto the coffee table, standing in the opposite direction of him.
“Happy birthday to you.”
Fuck don’t cry.
“Happy birthday to you,” With every lyric, Daniel’s smile grows progressively wider, as Sean slowly leans forward like an excited puppy.
“Happy birthday, dear Sean.”
It’s getting harder to hold it back.
“Happy birthday to you,” Daniel finishes with a sincere smile, holding one hand into the other as he looked to his big brother. “I know, you’re on that whole thing about being too old but—I thought… you deserved a cake for the fifteen other ones you had to miss.”
Right before Sean gets to say anything, he’s greeted as he sees Daniel’s hand slowly lift upwards. A small, somewhat flat-like rectangular object making its way to his hand, wrapped up in papers to keep it hidden. Slowly, it directs itself to Sean’s hands.
“This is… something that might be stupid, but I think you might have wanted one,” Daniel’s smile makes the fuzzy feelings in his chest begin to rise in intensity. “Happy birthday, hermano.”
Sean lets out an unstable sigh, carefully setting down the present right by his side to lean forward to the candles. He spares a look to Daniel, who’s eagerly watching him.
“Help me blow those out.”
“What? Dude, no way. It’s your birthday—"
“Blow them out with me, angel.”
That seems to do the trick, hitting the sweet switch from Daniel as he lets out a soft sigh of defeat. Stepping forward, he joins his brother in as the two work together to blow out the candles, which is hard to resist laughing at once they finish up.
When they do, Daniel makes his way around the table to join Sean at his side, re-handing the present to him while he did so. Sean is a bit curious, but with the slight encouraging nods from his brother, he decides to slowly tear into the packaging.
Pulling the fabric away, Sean was greeted by the sight of what appeared to be…
A sketchbook?
It’s a more modern one, sleek and in a pitch black coloring. It’s different than the makeshift design his previous one had, but it’s not in a bad way. It gets a large smile out of him, his attention fixing towards Daniel.
“Daniel?”
“Open it, trust me.”
Sean doesn’t have to think about it, as he slowly opens it up to the first page. The first thing he notices is Daniel’s handwriting in the form of a note on the opening.
Hey, Sean!
I know it’s been a while since you’ve sketched, and I don’t blame you. Things have been rough as of recently, especially on you ever since you were 16. I wasn’t sure on what you would exactly want for your birthday until I spent a few minutes going through our old belongings. I found your sketchbook and thought to myself: it’s been a long time since I’ve seen you with a pencil.
I know that receiving a sketchbook once every 16 years looks like it’s becoming tradition (haha :) ), but I wanted to gift you this to not only show you how much you mean to me, but because I want this to be your symbol. Starting back over is something that’s so crazy to do, but I’m glad that God gave me the strongest big brother to take care of himself.
I couldn’t be any prouder.
- Danel
“I know, it’s a little cringy, but—”
Sean doesn’t get to let him finish as he quickly lunges forward, trapping his arms over his little brother’s body into a warm embrace, pulling Daniel as close as he could into him. He feels his little cub return the gesture, letting out a heavy sigh while remaining in his tight grasp.
“It’s the best thing I could have ever asked for, enano,” Sean whispers out into his ear, his voice shuddering while he struggled to maintain his stability. “Thank you, thank you so much.”
“Of course, mi lobo,” Daniel mutters under his breath, keeping their hold on one another for just a bit longer.
They watch some of the movie, but Sean can rarely pay any attention to anything that isn’t Daniel.
Their bodies are closely pushed against one another, with Daniel’s head resting on Sean’s chest and his leg tossed over his, the two lost in a tangled cuddle while their eyes remained glued to the TV. Well, at least Daniel’s are.
Sean can’t help it, but he keeps looking at Daniel whenever his attention is distracted. His eye examining everything about him, from his expression to his subtle movements to get comfortable. He even catches a few times Daniel tries to do the same, only to blush and pretend that wasn’t what he was doing.
Sometimes, Daniel will begin to lean forward and place a few soft kisses onto Sean’s chest before going back to watching, and Sean ends up doing the same but onto his neck. The little noises and giggles that his brother makes fuel him from within, wanting to hear them over and over again.
That’s why after a few more playful kisses, Sean can’t take it anymore.
As Daniel pays attention to the contents on the screen, Sean slowly slips his hand against his stomach, beginning to rub his hand upwards and pulling downwards against his shirt. He feels Daniel’s soft noise, as his body slightly responds to the ticklish sensation.
However, his mind is still occupied, so Sean takes it up a step. He reaches forward and begins to brush his fingers upwards, letting them stride against Daniel’s chest instead. It gets another stare out of him, this time a bit more confused than curious.
Finally, Sean stops deciding to beat around the bush. He runs his fingers back downwards to meet Daniel’s stomach, going lower and lower until his fingertips begin to press onto the waistband of his shorts. He then begins to fiddle with them, lightly lifting the band and then dropping it back onto Daniel’s hips.
If he hadn’t got it before, he definitely had it now. The sound of Daniel’s breathing begins to change, a bit more rapidly as he lets out a few shaky exhales out of his mouth. That didn’t stop Sean however, allowing him to continue having his fun with his clothing.
Sean then goes a step further. He then slips his hand to grasp onto the band and slowly begins to bring it down, sliding it away from Daniel’s hips. However, when he does so, Daniel instinctively brings his legs up to help Sean, his hand grasping onto the other end to continue sliding them down.
“Sean…” Daniel quietly trails off with a breathy noise, kicking off the shorts to let them fall down to his ankles. He needily glances up to him, a sight that almost makes Sean collapse.
“I don’t think we should finish watching this movie,” Sean teases as he reaches downwards, and gets a grasp onto his brother’s package through the briefs. This gets a whiny sound and a hip buck from him in response. “I don’t think I can pay attention to it anymore.”
“H-Hah, really?” Daniel shudders out as he feels himself being palmed through the underwear, another whine leaving his lips as he looks up to Sean. That look of begging, fuck, it’s giving Sean plenty of ideas in his head. “I’m not—not watching it, anyway..”
“Yeah, I noticed that—” Sean’s interrupted with a slight moan as he feels Daniel’s hand slide into the leg of his shorts, directly going for Sean’s need. Although, he happens to see the shock in his face when he realizes that beneath his clothes.
Sean was wearing no underwear.
“Oh?” Daniel’s lips curl into a haunting smirk as he pushes himself closer into Sean’s grasp, his breath hitting at his lips while he adjusted his hand to get a firm grasp onto his girth. “Sean, why aren’t you wearing any underwear?”
“Because I…” Sean can’t finish once he feels how Daniel pumps into his crotch, causing him to let out a noise that’s mixed between a groan and a moan. “I knew that you’d want to end up getting these off, anyway.”
“You know me too well,” Daniel teases, his playful smile remaining intact while he continued to work with Sean’s length, feeling as his body tensed up with a growing erection. “I think you want me to take care of this, yeah?”
“Please.”
Daniel doesn’t have to be told twice, his hands scurrying to the bottom of Sean’s shorts. With a faint tug, he pulls them downwards below his hips, beginning to bring them downwards to his knees. The freedom allowed himself to spring free from its hold, his cock throbbing to the adjusted temperature.
“Tsk, you poor thing,” Daniel sighs out as he returns his hand to wrap it around Sean’s length, to which he receives another moan of pleasure as he’s grasped. “How long have you had this for?”
“Ever since you and I came home from that restaurant,” He confesses through short breaths, his eyes slowly directing to Daniel’s hand, watching as it slowly begins to sink into a rhythm. “Fuck… I knew that it was going to drive me insane until I got my hands on you.”
“Pervert.”
“You’re the one to blame.”
Daniel only rolls his eyes, fixing himself to adjust his body over top of Sean’s. The position change causes him to lose warmth in holding against Daniel’s crotch, now watching as he adjusted himself to be at eye-level with his length instead.
“You can’t blame me for long,” Daniel quips with one of his signature winks, and right before Sean gets to respond, he’s greeted by the overwhelming sensation as Daniel abruptly takes his cock into his mouth, sinking his head downward.
Sean throws his head back and hisses out a moan once he feels him getting to work, slowly lifting his head back up before dipping it back down in a pattern. His hand is nicely gripped onto his base, giving it soft squeezes while he sucked and moaned onto the rest.
Daniel was an artist when it came to his tongue, and in a strange sort of way, their techniques were relatively similar. When he worked his head, his tongue would try to brush and flick against it every time he had went down, as opposed to other methods.
Sean couldn’t complain though, it felt fucking amazing.
His hips slightly pushed upwards to meet Daniel’s mouth, which got a muffled moan from him in response. Sean couldn’t help himself, his body reacting instinctively to slightly thrust into the warmth, teeth gritted as he closed his eye tightly.
“F-Fuck, Daniel,” He breathes out in a moan, hearing a satisfied noise slip from his lips in a muffled attempt. He didn’t stop, however, continuing to please his big brother with all he had.
All the tension, all the buildup that had remained from this morning had all packed into Sean’s groin, rendering him into a mess by the time Daniel finally got to treat his problems. He didn’t realize how pent up he was from it all, and how quickly it was beginning to take over his body.
He begins to notice that familiar bubbly feeling in his base, making his breath hitch as he strained to keep himself contained, his hands reaching down to grip into the couch below him as his breathing picked up.
Fuck he’s gonna…
No, not in Daniel’s mouth of all places… as much as he would’ve liked to.
“Daniel, hold on—” Sean breathes out in a hurry, hoping that Daniel would bring himself to a halt. Thankfully he does, lifting his head to glance upwards at Sean worriedly.
“What? Is everything okay?”
“Yeah, just—” Sean breathes out, looking down towards him with a flustered expression. “I thought you’d want to take this to the bedroom, instead? I don’t think a couch is going to be appropriate for what’s next.”
The realization slowly settles into Daniel’s head, and his cheeks are instantly enflamed once he gets it. He doesn’t waste any time in quickly pulling himself back, reaching to help with pulling Sean’s shorts off.
Once they hit his ankles, Sean’s legs swung to the floor to allow him to stand up, taking in a deep breath. Even while they had put it to a stop, his erection stood tall and proud, managing to captivate Daniel’s attention while he got up as well.
Right when Daniel goes to stand though, Sean is quick to work and sweep him up from the couch, pulling him into an embrace while his hands worked to grab his thighs. He hoisted him upwards, lifting him into his grasp and pressing their bodies together. He can hear his confused noise, but lack of effort to put a stop to it.
“God, you’re getting heavy, I can’t do this as easily,” He chuckles out, to which Daniel scoffs by his ear.
“Still got enough strength to hold me though,” Daniel warmly whispers, leaning to place a soft kiss onto the side of Sean’s neck.
“I could never lose the strength for that,” Sean remarks with a soft hum, beginning to finally step away from the living room.
Daniel nestles his head comfortably into Sean’s neck while he carries him to their bed, a familiar gesture he used to do when he was younger. It never failed to make Sean’s heart melt every time he did it, and even now, it was threatening to.
Once they find their bedroom, Sean is quick climb onto it, lowering Daniel down onto his back onto the covers below. When he does so, his little wolf is quick to wiggle his hips beneath Sean’s grasp, looking up at him with an innocent smile.
Fuckin’ adorable, he thinks to himself.
Sean lowers himself down and begins rather slowly, his hands navigating to occupy Daniel’s briefs to pull them downwards. He plants a flurry of kisses that trail downwards from his cheek to his upper stomach.
It gets another one of those giggles that Sean loves, making him chuckle while he continues to lower, and lower, until he finds himself dangerously close to his enano’s crotch. Instead of going further, he steers his head in the opposite direction, deciding to kiss on his thigh instead.
“Sean, please…” Daniel breathes out needily, and from his tone alone, he knew that he couldn’t resist that any longer.
“Get the lube,” It’s a simple command, but the weight behind it is enough to get it done. He feels Daniel slightly reach upwards to flick his wrist, allowing the nightstand drawer to open without him touching it.
Once the lube lands near Sean’s hand, he pulls his head away and looks upwards to Daniel while he knees, climbing between his legs to be closer to his body. Sean takes the bottle and slowly uncaps it, keeping his attention on Daniel’s needy expression, who was eager for what was to come.
“Someone’s excited,” Sean remarks as he slowly tilts the bottle forward, allowing the small stream to drizzle from the tip and letting it slowly paint a trail from Daniel’s cock, all the way down to beneath his sac. “Something you want to tell me, enano?”
“No, nothing at all,” Daniel’s cheeks are noticeably red as he sinks into the bed, his hips wiggling while Sean finished spurting the lube onto his body. He lets out a soft whine once he feels his fingertips beginning to brush over him. “Just admiring the—”
Sean interrupts Daniel as he presses his ring and middle finger against his hole, which gets him to let out a slight noise of need. Sean’s smile grows as he slowly circles around it, causing Daniel to slightly move his hips along with his movements.
“Oh, don’t do that!” Daniel pouts, trying to push downwards and only to meet the sad response of Sean pulling his hand back. “You know I hate when you tea—ase!”
Daniel is sent into a moaning mess when Sean pushes his fingers inside, sinking deeper with every passing moment. His hips are instinctively pushing downwards, and Sean’s hand snaps up to secure it on his waist, helping him downwards.
“Sorry, what was that?” Sean asks, rather casually as he pushes his fingers out and plunges them back inside, his fingertips brushing against the internal mound that sends Daniel howling. “I don’t know what that means, enano, use your words.”
“Dude, shut up—” He interrupts Daniel once again with another plunge into his prostate, causing him to arch his back as he desperately whined out. Sean doesn’t pull back out though, instead he presses his palm against his brother’s taint, repeatedly grinding and pushing into that sweet toy of his. “S-Sean!”
Daniel breathes out his name a few times, needily whining and pushing back to meet his hand with every movement. His body is heavily stimulated, as his cock produces a slight puddle of pre that oozes from his tip. His hands are gripping tightly into the sheets, trying to stabilize himself from the overload.
“S-Sean!” He cries out, catching Sean’s attention as he lifts his head to lean closer. “Sean, p-please!”
“Please what?”
“Fuck me!”
Sean smirks in victory once Daniel begs into his hands, carefully pulling his fingers out from his brother’s rear. He reaches to take the lube back into his hand, his other reaching to grasp onto Daniel’s ankle and lift it to rest onto his shoulder.
He then drops a sizeable sum onto the tip of his shaft, reaching down to help lather it across himself while he looked towards Daniel. He hadn’t seen a look this needy in a while, with how his chest rises and falls with intensity, his face flustered burgundy in arousal.
Sean knows it’s best not to keep him waiting.
Bringing the tip to Daniel, Sean carefully pushes himself in to break through his entry, sinking into his brother’s longing warmth. He feels his walls contract and hug onto his cock, as Daniel leans back to let a long moan slip by his lips, his body writhing against the bedsheets.
Once he sinks into the base, he pulls his hips back and rocks in a slow motion. Despite the rampant lust in Sean’s mind, he knows better than to start off pumping rough into someone, a lesson he had learned the hard way before he was let out. So, when it came to Daniel, he knew to be soft, sweet to him.
Besides, being nice, allowed Sean to hear those sweet noises that Daniel would let out, his half lidded eyes glancing up to Sean while he continued to push in and out. Every moan he let out was addicting like candy, and he wanted to hear more of them.
“There you go, angel,” Sean whispers to Daniel with a smile, his other hand reaching to run his hand down his stomach in comfort. He hears him let out another staggered moan, his head turning to look away with embarrassment. “No, no, look at me.”
Daniel is reluctant, but he slowly turns his head to look upwards at Sean, the two making eye contact as he moaned out and whined to the sensations that had flooded his body. The sight nearly made him come from that alone, his smile curling into a grin as he leaned a bit forward.
“You’re cute like this, enano,” Sean teases while he bucks his hips a bit sharply into Daniel, which gets a faint mewl in reply. “And here I thought you’d never be the submissive type.”
He doesn’t get a response verbally, only more moans as Daniel continues to take his length. Sean notices how his hand sneaks down to grasp at himself, beginning to jerk himself off to match the pace of his big brother’s movements.
That’s when Sean gets an idea, and quickly reaches down to lift Daniel’s hand and pull it over his head, doing the same with the other shortly after. This gets a confused yelp from him, as Sean uses his hand to pin both behind his head.
“Now, what do you think you’re doing?” Sean interrogates lustfully as he leans in closer to Daniel, fixing his body so that his leg rested by his hip instead of his shoulder. “Was the pleasure not enough?”
“Huh? N-No, Sean!” Daniel’s worried expression drives his amusement through the roof, as he frantically scrambles for a response. “It felt good, I just wanted to—”
“Wanted to what, hm?” Sean hooks his hips forward in a brutal thrust, one that sends Daniel into the loudest moan he hears of the night as he nails into his prostate in one go. “You know, I think it’s pretty mean for you to think you can finish before the birthday boy.”
Daniel doesn’t get to reply as Sean returns to his pace, this time speeding up. He reaches down to clasp onto the bed sheets to stabilize himself while he steadily rocketed into his angel, Daniel’s worried breaths returning back to the sweet noises he was hearing.
The sex becomes noticeably rougher, but Sean isn’t being mean about it. He keeps Daniel’s hands above his head, staring into his eyes while he continues to dive into him, their breaths on each other’s lips until Daniel suddenly gets the notion to close the gap.
Their lips lock into a passionate kiss, with Daniel’s ankles tightening around his hips to secure himself more into Sean’s lap. He drank down the loving noises that left his lips, as his own filled the air through the sound of skin-on-skin contact.
Sean goes harder, his tip furiously pressing and grinding against Daniel’s prostate with every opportunity he gets. This causes the kiss to break as a desperate moan leaves him, his back arching while Sean ensures to keep hitting that spot. Over, and over, and over again.
He notices how Daniel’s cock throbs against his stomach, continuing to let out pre as Sean hits his sweet spot. An idea hits his mind as he feels that familiar sensation building up, his hand quickly moving down to get a firm grasp onto Daniel’s cock.
“This what you want, enano?” Sean teases as he begins to steadily pump him, causing Daniel to try and claw at his hands in reply as he sobs out in pleasure. “You want to cum, huh? You can’t handle it anymore?”
“Please!”
Daniel’s tone instantly cuts off a decent minute of time he has left, and it quickly springs him into pounding into him. The slapping noises of their bodies growing increasingly louder as he races him to the finish line of their love making their ragged breaths growing heavier, hungrier.
Daniel’s face is getting hotter, his moans and noises getting needier as he writhes and whines to the touch. Sean can tell how close he’s getting, by how he’s looking up at him and occasionally tightening his closed eyes. His grip on the bed is getting more desperate.
“S-Sean!”
Fuck, that was quicker than he expected. It doesn’t help his case either.
Sean doesn’t get a chance to reply as he spears into Daniel, feeling as his walls hugged and squeezed onto his cock to try and milk his seed out of him. Large spurts and ropes of his seed painting across his belly and even spiking up to hit Sean’s chest.
“Beautiful.”
Just like that, Sean’s hitting the edge himself. With one last thrust to pump his hips into Daniel, he’s sent over the edge as he forces the two into another kiss. His cock spasming into his brother’s rump as he spills out inside of him, painting his walls with his seed.
Sean and Daniel enjoy each other’s embrace with a few pants once the kiss breaks, taking the moment to regain their energy from the intense session. Neither of them happen to have any intent to get up, so Sean doesn’t bother with pulling out as he holds Daniel close to him.
“Happy birthday, Sean,” Daniel pants with a smile, and Sean decides to finally let his wrists go while he leans in, capturing his mouth into another long kiss. “I… I love you.”
Sean can’t help but smile.
“I love you too, enano.”
Later into the night, when the moon had finally reached its peak, Sean and Daniel continued to lay in each other’s embrace, grasping into one another to take in everything about each other.
A lot had happened today, and a lot that Sean was grateful for happening. From the ice cream to the golf, to the restaurant, Daniel was giving his all to show Sean how much he loved him on the day that used to be deeply important to him.
That’s why he finally decides to whisper to Daniel, adjusting his grasp around him.
“You know, this was almost the best birthday ever,” He begins, leaning up to nuzzle against Daniel’s ear like a dog. “But, you know what would make it the best?”
Daniel seems to stiffen beneath him, but he hears Sean out.
“Yeah?”
There’s no going back after this.
A future that would be a struggle to maintain in secret but would happen regardless. It was something that would change the course of his and Daniel’s relationship, forever.
Yet, he was willing to try it. He had spent so long away from Daniel before he had gotten out, and now he had the opportunity to spend the rest of his life close to him. A chance to start anew, like Daniel had said.
So, Sean takes the plunge.
“If you married me.”
