   Summary

   This is a quick, extended scene from Chapter 10 of my fic The Empyrean: Fourth Wing (Xaden’s POV). It picks up at the beginning of the second scene where Xaden, Garrick, and Bodhi are sneaking away from Basgiath to meet with Brennan, and includes a fun little theory I have for Garrick’s signet. It’s not a necessary read to enjoy the main work, just a bit of bonus content and fun banter that didn’t fit in with the cannon chapter. Hope you enjoy!
